Ease of Use

It's about as easy to use as any standard compressor, though it does have an "auto" function which works well, though it's not something I use much.

I use this in my home studio rack and am quite impressed with it for the money. It's quiet, doesn't colour your sound, yet really seems to give a sound "weight" as opposed to other cheap compressors (e.g. Behringer Composer...) that tend to make things sound a bit thin. You can easily get it to pump if that's what you're after, or used subtly, it's quite transparent.
It also comes equipped with a gate/expander which is only good for percussive material as it "chatters" on anything with a slow decay.
I wouldn't use it across a buss, but I find it very useful for bass, vocals and drums.

Seems very solidly constructed.

Overall, a solid, versatile low-cost compressor that I would choose over most other cheap rack units (except the ART PRO VLA, gotta love those). It has pretty much everything you'd need in a basic compressor, though I'd prefer if it had a true hardware bypass, but that's being picky at this price level.
