The Cosmic Boost is fairly easy to use. The Gain knob is backwards(counterclockwise), which takes some getting used to, but once you are used to it, i like it better. The manual is self explanatory.
Sound Quality

The sound quality is this baby's strongest point! It is very warm, it has lots of volume too if you need it. Its not pun at all. I sometimes use it as a warm preamp, other times i engage the switch and use it for a killer solo boost. I even sometimes in the studio, crank up the gain and it makes a really nice crispy distortion.

The DMB guys are very nice and easy to work with. They helped me very well. I have no doubt if I ever had a problem that they would take care of me hands down.

I play rock and alternative music. The cosmic boost is a great match for my style and rig. It accents my Marshall and Vox tones really well. I would definitely replace it if it were lost or stolen. I was thinking about getting a Fulltone FatBoost, but when i compared the two, the tone and overall volume and grit was way better on the Cosmic Boost. More bang for less buck.
