Great DI box.
Have used Behringer GDI100 (red one) & Hughes Kettner Red Box.
This one is way nicer.

Currrently use with Fender amps > Weber-Mass > Speaker out > DOD285 > PA.
Cabinet simulations are great. Offer simple EQ flavors.
Also helps with virtual amp pedals like BOSS GT, ME, Vox-Tonelab, Line 6, etc.

No-brainer. Cabinet-emulator direct box. 1/4" input & output, XLR output, speaker/instrument switch, battery/phantom power switch, ground/lift switch, combo/4x12/flat switch, 9v jack, battery compartment. Phantom power from the board is the tits; if you use battery, remember to unplug all cables & switch it to "off."

Works great live, sounds as good or better than a 57, without all the mic'ing hassles -- never recorded with it.

Best gizmo I ever bought -- works like it's supposed to, never shits the bed, will probably last as long as the pyramids. Andit's a frickin' DOD???!! Holy crap.
