Easy to get a great sound, many tricks in this bag.

Stereo tube amps with stereo delay which melds with the flanger. Many different types of tones; jet whoosh Barracuda, sweet leslie simiulation, wild trippy phasey stuff and mild chorus. Excellent old pedal! Not terribly noisy but there is a distinct whooshing from the LFO at most settings.

Was half functioning when purchased from e-bay. Replaced an op-amp, some capacitors, re-biased and it's now solid. Circuit board and case seem well constructed ready to get stomped on.

Excellent tone, totally organic analogue bliss. I'm been playing over fifteen years and been through some gear, some good some bad, and this pedal is noteworthy. Even though it was broken the repair made the end result that much sweeter. Even the repair was fairly easy, removed the bad chip and put in a replacement which was pennies. It's a great alternative to the vintage MXR and A/DA flangers, sweet musical tone at less cost.

Let me do the honors and go first ! This is the early script model...before the 670 was out.Controls are...manual,speed, width and accent.It has a mini toggle that switches from PA(lowers output) to instument.Easy to use...plug in and start turning knobs!The combination of controls make it possible to get a wide range of sounds!

My set up is...69 strat > captain coconut II > TS 808 > Ross distortion/phaser > ADA flanger > DOD 640 Flanger > roland re 201 space echo > sound city 50+.I am an old school effects guy...this one is right up my alley!Great analog sounding unit...warm , watery and smooth.It is not as wild a ride as the ADA but has it's own personality.It goes from deep flanging to leslie warble and hits chorus territory in between!There is no drop it output when engaged and in fact it adds a tiny boost...which I like! The unit is fantastic when overdrive unit is kicked in to drive it! I love modulation effects and have owned most of the well known and highly regarded flangers including the ADA units. This one and the ADA are my favorites!

Well built as are all the older DOD units.Nice metal box with good stomp swithes.They hold up well!

Wonderfull analog unit...keeper for sure.The older DOD stuff is killer and priced well below most other vintage effects. Great values!
If lost or broken I would seek another.
