Ease of Use : 9
This was really easy to use, most of the factory presets SUCKED! But once you start scrolling through the effects you can get some really crazy sounds. Don't judge it by the presets experiment with it before giving it a final judgement. I know in the store they demoed it for me with some of their own Presets (even told me the patches).

Sound Quality : 8
Running a Fender Precis Squire through this pedal and a Basswah into a Fender Amp. didn't find any problems with excessive noise, Most of the effects were strong except for the distrotion, a little weak on the low end. I could get some nice lemmyish fuzz with it, and also found the delay pretty useful.

Reliability : 7
I would use it for gigs yes, I would depend on it for getting single effects during songs, but forget about scrolling through effects mid song, my size 11 feet are just too big for the little pedals.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never Dealt with them.,

Overall Rating : 8
I play a lot of Maiden, Rush, Motohead stuff I've been playing for 6 years, I also play guitar. This pedal works well with My BOSS bass overdrive and I really got a lot out of this pedal.

This is a pretty good multi-effects processor. It is pretty easy to use, and it lets you make your own effects(the preset effects suck, though).

Sound Quality : 7
It has decent sound quality. The distortion could be better.

Reliability : 8
It seems to be pretty reliable.
I would use it in a gig because it is the only thing I own

I dont know

Overall Rating : 7
I usually play heavy metal, and have been playing for about two years.
I have a Fender bass and a Kramer guitar, and I use the BassTEC for both guitars, but it sounds best with the bass.
The wierdest thing about this thing is that when I plugged it in my amp started to pick up radio signals. Its damn strange playing some heavy metal when all of a sudden some church channel starts coming out of the speaker.

Ease of Use : 6
I give this a low ease of use becasue it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a good sound out of this thing. This unit crosses that line between user friendliness and crap. I figured this pedal out in a few days. The manual was WAY to brief.

Sound Quality : 1
HORRIBLE. This was such a waste for me. The distortion is weak weak weak. It has all the effects i wanted, but it just give every thing a k-mart cheesy quality to it. I used it with a hartke kickback 12.

I play grind core, experimental music. This effect was like a chain around any semblance of creativity and i cant wait to get rid of it. I urge everyone to search elsewhere.

The sounds are OK, but if it weren't for the noise gate, it would be totally useless! This thing makes a lot of noise. I use this (or used to use this) to record back-up tracks. I ussually play 6 string, but can learn bass tracks to record. I can't STAND hiss!!!

Sound Quality : 5
Mostt effects are decent, but shallow. Some hiss more than others. I have rated other DOD effects and always have the same bitch, but you get what you pay for.... I consider a '5' to be run of the mill.

Reliability : 9
It always works, and always gives me the same amount of hiss, so I would say it is dependable to be consistantly noisy.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never bothered to tell them it is noisy, they probably already know.

Overall Rating : 2
I play whatever people will pay to hire me, from country to semi-hard rock. I do a one man show with backtracks and MIDI support and effects control. I only played bass to do the backtracks, but now do it all in MIDI. If somebody stole it from me, I wouldn't care but would still put a bullet in his or hers ass, but would hope that while removing the bullet, that their insurance would fix their hearing so that they could hear the his this thing makes. At least after the bullet was removed, they would know that stealing this thing was a stupid thing to do!

Ease of Use : 9
After two hours of messing with it and reading the manual I felt like I had owned this box for years. Very easy to learn and master. I erased the factory presets (30 in all) and created 30 of my own. The only drawback is that "I" can't seem to figure out how to reset them all back (as if I'd want to).

Sound Quality : 7
I played on a zoom 506 for a while and switched to this just because of the sound quality and effects list(even though individual pedals are way better). I instantly started searching for my favorite bass player's sounds; from flea's thrash-funk spank-his-bass slap, to les claypools autowah-synthesizor "sh*t my pants the first time I heard it"-sounds, to stephan lessard's smooth blues-reggae-funk style. I was able to re-create their signature sounds (at a lesser, "multi-effects" level). But what's really kick*ss about this pedal is the thousands of effects in the fx list, bass players can easily customize their own sound with it. I run an Epiphone EBM-4~~a Morley Bass Wah~~DOD's BassTec~~to a Gallien-Krueger 400RB/115 and I don't think I'll ever need to change a thing, exept for buying another cabinet.
Anyways. . . the effects, in my opinion, are 7 out of 10.
oh, and I get a radio station also on certain settings

Reliability : 8
I guess the reliability is good, I wouldn't "drop it off an airplane" or "tie it to a bomb" or anything. It has rubber bottoms so you won't go arse-over-tit if you try to use it on a gym floor. I like how it came with an AC because i hate buying those, but it doesn't run on a battery so you have to use the adapter (which sucks).

Customer Support : No Opinion
I sent in the warranty. . .

Overall Rating : 8
I play anything from the RHCPs, to primus(I try anyway),to radiohead, to weezer. Mostly I slap, so I mostly use this pedal for Eq, Compression, and its synth effects. I have played bass for four years, and piano for ten so I've been composing for a long time. This pedal is a usefull tool (for people on a budget)when recording. If it were stolen or lost I probably wouldn't get another one, I don't know yet. What I love about it is that it has helped me finally find my signature sound. What I hate about it is it has sh*tty distortion, I was disapointed because thought it might have a grunge like nirvana or something but it doesn't. Like I said before, I compared it to the zoom506 and it's better. So, until GK comes out with a bass effects, (hoping. . .) this is probably the best multi-effects pedal for bass right now.

Ease of Use : 7
Once you get usto playing on the pedal and you know where the effect is that your trying to get, its pretty easy to use. The tuner is very handy and I use it more than the pedal.

Sound Quality : 5
Well I pick up some wierd latin radio station sometimes when I plug it into my amp. Its usually at night for some reason too. When I'm not catching up on mombo music, the sound quality is pretty good. I prefer the sound of individual pedals over a multi-effects pedal but thats one of the down sides of getting one. Overall its ok.

Reliability : 3
Well I can rely on gettin a latin gig right but thats not my sound. When it is not picking up radio stations I guess I can count on it to play well...

Customer Support : 9
Havent had to deal with it...Maybe I should to see if the shielding is correct.

Overall Rating : 5
Its hard to say for me weather if it is good or not...I'm still experimenting with effects to get a new sound or a fresh sound. It has a good range of effects, altough they arent very indepth effects and are pretty basic. Making your own effects is kinda easy and fun if you have the time.

Ease of Use : 3
This is the only complaint I have for this FX pedal. Honestly, I would say easy of use is terrible. It is hard to hit the 3 pedals becuase of thier shape, especially if you have to switch an effect quickly during a solo. The bank isn't too bad, but there is no explaination (manual) for anything. Bottom: It has bad ergonomics, and you might hit the wrong effect during play.

Sound Quality : 8
I use an Ibanez EDC 700 bass, and a Fender 300BXR amp combo (the big one). The effects sound great. Actually, I think the pedal makes things sound so good, that I even built a "blank effect" and just run my straigt play through the pedal.

Reliability : 9
so far, so good. just a few outages, but I think that has to do with my house circuitry.

Overall Rating : 6
I play up-tempo, punk rock and such. I just wish it was easier to switch the effects. But I've learned to deal with it. I don't think I buy it again, but it's good for the house. It does help the sound. I would put the extra dough into a BP-8.

Ease of Use : 7
Programming this unit isn't too difficult, though it would be nice if you didn't have to scroll sequentially through 50 different 'chorus' settings to get to the one you want.

Sound Quality : 7
I use an Epiphone EBM-5 bass through a Hartke 1410 amp. Some of the effects are great (chorus, flanger, tremolo), some suck (distortion), and some are just *cool* (delayed attack).

Reliability : 8
Some people have complained about the flimsy pedals. I haven't found this to be a problem. The only issue I have is that its fairly easy to accidently pull the AC adapter connector from the unit, because its on the side.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with 'em.

Overall Rating : 7
As inexpensive bass multi-effects units go (and I'm a former Zoom 506 user), this is a pretty decent unit. Will someone please explain to me why all of these pedals have an 'octave below' setting, but not an 'octave above' setting, when its a bass effects unit? Overall, I'm pretty happy.

Ease of Use : 3
It was hard to follow the bank system with only four pedals

Sound Quality : 5
some of the effects were nice, but others really did not support the deep end of my b string, mostly in the chorus

Reliability : 6
It seemed sturdy but it had plastic pedals that felt flimsy like they could break

Overall Rating : 5
Well it seemed like a pedal worth it's money to people with a low budget, but if you have the money to spend i don't recomend it
