I use a fender fat strat into this dod-1 into a jimi hendrix fuzz wah into a fender blues jr. It will get you to Voodoo Child(slight return) just drive the amp all the way (no distortion channel on the blues jr) and your there its a little noisy but its not bad at all i recorded with it. Great classic sound lots of hendrix clapton/cream stuff some zep(a little fuzzy for there sound but it works in certain cases)Its not very versitile it does what it does and sounds very vintage i think through a solid state it would suck. I dont even wanna put it through my solid state(scuze me hybrid yea right)fender i know it would dissapoint but i'll be brave and try.

I have no idea how old it is it looks old most pedals today (even cheaper 50 dollar ones) are made of like steel and crazy stuff this is like plastic but its solid and it lasted through someone else i got it on ebay.I will gig with this no backup (most of my gigs are at school i live a block away from school not an issue)

I play all kinds It works good for classic sounding rock or some fuzzy funk. I been playin for bout 5 yrs been playin piana about 13 i own a squier jagmaster fender roc pro 700 digitech rp3 ibanez tube screamer(ts-9) my dad has pods and metal zone and stuff like that we got les pauls i got the strat an sg too i think.I would be lookin on ebay for another if i were stolen
