Ease of Use : 10
Easy to use, four knobs, also gives details of settings.

Sound Quality : 10
Using with Fender 68 re-issue with Custom shop Fat 50`s pups, run through Fender 112 deluxe plus amp. This pedal has some really nice tones in it. The big bonus with this pedal is it does not colour your guitars tone, so the character of your axe shines through. I have yet to find a sound that I don`t like from this pedal.

Reliability : No Opinion
Don`t know about reliability But three years parts & labour from DOD must mean they have faith in the product.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never contacted them don`t want to ,hope I don`t have to.

I play mainly blues and whatever I like the sound of. Also own a Crybaby wah, Mesa Boogie Bottle Rocket. I bought this pedal ,(and I would buy it again),because in Guitarist (U.K. Magazine) one of the columnists said it was a good pedal to buy as they were becoming hard to find and were not being made anymore and it gave some nice tones. So I thought I would buy it ,not use it ,and sell it later for a few quid more and make some money on it, (I know it sucks but I never have any money spare to buy things when I want them, so I thought this would be my cash fallback). However once I plugged it in and played with it , disaster, my plans for riches and gain went out the window. It`s for keeps . So be warned players don`t buy gear for monetary gain as you will never succeeed, because when you plug the thing in it steals your heart and thoughts of making money go out the window. Got to go now, is that an Ibanez 808 tubescreamer I see for sale, prehaps if I buy it keep it for a little while then se.....

Your average four knob pedal, stock settings given are decent, but this pedal can do much better. Pretty easy to find a good sounds, and there's several of them in there. Speaker out simulation is a cool bonus

Sound Quality : 9
Using Carvin and Ibanez electrics through a bunch of Crates and Peavey (Tube and solid state), the pedal performs well. Nice distortion reminiscent of a british stack (at least that what its supposed to be). In reality, it does a good job of delivering those goods. distortion is powerful, but can also clean up nicely. Great for most types rock (Good AC/DC tone), though It might not have enough output for metal.

Reliability : 10
Sold pedal, been gigged a few times, no problem.

I picked this pedal up on sale b/c DOD wasn't making it anymore. I have a small colletction of distortions and this one is the one I go to for harder rock and very edgy blues. I compared it to the FX101 when I bought it an preferred the I.T because the gain wasn't so powerful. The speaker output jack gets a big thumbs up, though it's nowhere close to the SM57 mic I mic my amps with. I don't think I would buy it again simply because they're hard to find now, but I'll take good care of the one I have.

very good pedal easy to use. manual is even easier

Sound Quality : 10
it makes for a great distorted sound when i play CHINA GROVE. if you turn the low (bass) all the way down or up just a little and turn the highs up all the way it is great for power chords. (for me anyway)

I.T. Integrated Tube Distortion. If you love distortion, have good distortion units but get bored of them sometimes, this is the kind of thing for you. I've never heard this sound on any album. Its crunchy and grindy, midrangey presence, but not make-you-puke midrangey. If this was a man it would have a long beard.

I was impressed from the time I plugged this pedal in. The four controls give the player control over output, lows, highs, and drive. The manual is concise and leaves the player to experiment in finding the 'right sound,' but provides some settings for popular tones (one called 'Ace' which is obviously a KISS reference and a Hagfish setting, too). DOD usually makes pedals that aren't too hard to handle.

I play an Epiphone Gallagher Supernova, Epiphone Les Paul Custom and my Fender Strat Plus through a Marshall VS100 and a Laney GC30 practice amp. The FX100 is a quiet amp that puts out a lot of sound, giving the player tones ranging from a warm blues to a great crunchy rhythm. It features what DOD calls 'Even Harmonics,' a technology designed to emulate a vacuum tube. I had it inline with my BOSS DD-5 Delay, DOD Grunge and DOD Phaser and it sounds fine alone or with the Delay & Phaser, but if you try to stack the Grunge distortion on top of the Overdrive, it is very noisy and muddy. I'm using this pedal to help dial up some Oasis-type sounds, as well as combining some effects for some U2-style stuff. I've found it to be very versatile. My only complaint is that if you start taking the highs out, it sounds a little 'electronic,' losing some of the ballsy tone.

Reliability : 8
DOD have never given me problems. I've had my phaser for over 2 years and it's still alive and kicking. With a 3 year warranty, they're fairly reliable. You just have to take care of them and make sure they don't get banged up and abused.

Never had to deal with them yet.

I play lots of styles, from blues to trippy rock to harder rock. This pedal is versatile in crossing over and adding effects to broaden my sound. I've been playing for 4 years, own a number of stomp boxes and a Zoom 3030 processor. If this were stolen, I wouldn't be crushed, but I'd have to pay a lot more for what this pedal provides. I tried a BOSS Turbo Overdrive in comparison and I was surprised that I liked the DOD better. It was warmer and easier to control. I wish it had a midrange control (like Danelectro) so you could fatten up the midtones. The FX100 helps me fill out rhythms or break into some fat lead sounds; I'm impressed. I bought it on closeout, because DOD is discontinuing it as of Summer 1998. It's a great stomp box to pick up, especially if you can get it discounted!

EASY has "output"- volume, "low"-bass, "high"-treble, "drive"-overdrive

Sound Quality : 9
sounds great if you like massive amounts of crunchy, tubelike, distortion. I think, with the the drive nob turned to about 4 it sounds perfect. Not a whole lot of bass though so you have to crank it to keep it fat. If you plug it in to your amp from the effects out jack, it sounds very crunchy and distorted-which is good, it a distortion pedal- but if you plug it into your amp from the speaker out jack, it sounds like alot like Chan Kinchla's (Blues Traveler guitarist) Soldano. All in all it sounds great.

Reliability : 10
All you gotta do is check the battery. The pedal will always work

Customer Support : No Opinion
never talked to them

It' a really cool pedal. It has a great tone if you you get it set up right. I'd probably buy it again if it was less money or if I had some extra to spare. I wouldn't call it a great deal because of the price, but it is an absolutly great overdrive pedal.
