Ease of Use : No Opinion
this thing sucks ! i used it for a few months then bought a boss tuner and now i try to sell this box of shit - but there's no one to buy it

Sound Quality : No Opinion
what can i say about sound quality - well, if you can manage to switch this thing on, it will work and there will be no sound at all, but the main problem was to switch it on

Reliability : No Opinion
as i said before, tell me how to switch this thing on in a way that works all day and night with a fucked or a sober brain. i haven't found one. the second big trouble with this thing was that i had to wait for a few seconds to tune the next string. so it's like tuning, waiting, waiting, tuning...

Customer Support : No Opinion
didn't check them. i think, it still works as bad as it did all the time, but i'm not that sure

Overall Rating : No Opinion
if this thing would have been stolen i would have kissed anybody around, because the insurance would have paid for it. now i have to find someone stupid to buy this pile of shit.
if you need a reliable quarz-tuner take the boss thing. it's worth its few more bucks, because it simply works. hands off of this dod-crap !

This thing sucks ass and always has. IT takes for ever for it to read a note. If you are tuning one string and want to go on to the next you have to mute the strings and wait about 4 seconds before going to the next string

Sound Quality : 6
I didnt notice any sound change when having this on off or on bypass.

of course no it doesnt make any sound at all- points deducted

Reliability : 1
You cant depend on this thing one bit. I dont think it tunes acuratly , quickly.. and well... I got this thing as a gift.. about 6 months later it just stopped working.. changed battery .. nothing.. different cable.. nothing.. ac power.. nothing. screw it.

Customer Support : 3
After it died I let it sit around I wasnt in a band at the time. And well a month or two ago I contacted my local dealer they send it off for repairs. I payed 44 bucks 3 weeks later. Used it one time and now all the lights blink repetively when I plug into it. This thing is messed up totally. So if thier product is so messed up that thier techs cant fix it.. I would think twice before buying one of these.

Overall Rating : 1
I would pay someone a dollar to take this peice of @$^# ^ off my hands. Its never worked right from day one.. and after a 144.00 investment.. it doesnt work at all.. My reccomendation: Boss tu-2.

I feel sorry for all you dod fans. I thought I was buying quality when asking for the DOD tuna for my birthday... I wished i would asked for a rocktek instead, it would have been half the price and probably worked just about as long. I DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!!!!!!!

Ease of Use : 9
no complaints....could use a better manual. I mean, it's a tuner after all.....unlike the others say, I have had no problems with it as long as you try not to tune and play lead at the same time.

Sound Quality : 9
no sound problems that i have noticed....has a bypass but I've never needed it. No clicking, whistling, chirping, etc. Use it in a main line with little worry.

Reliability : 10
DOD....as far as the hatred towards this company goes, i don't have any. DOD is one of my main fx companies and I trust them live. If battery doors are your thing--buy something else but other than the doors....rock solid!!

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
Overall I think its a tuner. A quartz tuner is a quartz tuner....has easily visible LED's that I can see from up high, makes no noise, er...yep it's a tuner and a sight better than that DAN-O crap that you have to be in the floor to use. Worth the money I paid.

sure, you hit the switch and it works....er, well, it's supposed to...

Sound Quality : No Opinion
has a bypass that seems to work....why doesn't it track...?

Reliability : 1
you can depend on it to be a pain in the ass because it doesn't track worth a crap

Customer Support : No Opinion
haven't dealt with the company, but who cares? this thing is crap and i don't need them to tell me that.

Overall Rating : 1
this thing takes forever to get to work right, even after using the neck pickup to calm down the hyperactive l.e.d.'s. don't buy one unless you're into self-torture.

Ease of Use : No Opinion
Ease of use? Like, a brick is easy to use when you throw it at someone.

Sound Quality : 1
Sound Quality? For a tuner that's supposed to be transparent in the signal it sure does sound like a ruptured scrotum.

Reliability : 1
Reliability? This thing is a piece of shit that I wish would fucking die and go to HELL. DOD stomp switches have always been FUCKING TERRIBLE, and this thing is no exception. The tuner is schizophrenic, it wants to tell me that notes are sharp AND flat, or it wants to tell me that a G is an Eb. Why the fuck did I buy this thing? I've got perfect pitch, and I wanted a silent mode tuner so I could tune silently and not piss off the crowd. THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE PIECE OF GEAR EVER. If you really want to buy one, hell, just go take 60 bucks from your wallet and get out your lighter, and have a little money roast in the front yard. It will be much more entertaining.

Customer Support : 1
So digitech and DOD are part of the same company? I think DOD is the division where all the mentally retarded elves work. Hey, someone has to hire retarded elves nowadays.

Overall Rating : 1
Overall Rating? If I were God, I'd make an amendment to the bible to where anyone involved in the creation process of this horrible contraption would enter a realm called SUPER HELL after death, where they would be greeted by Bob Saget at the gates, and forced to play nothing but Yanni cover songs all day and have to watch the seven dwarves all blow each other for eternity.

It's easy to plug it in and hit the pedal, but tuning with it is a pain in the ass

Sound Quality : 5
Sounds fine, haven't noticed any extra noise from it

Reliability : 1
Absolutly unreliable. I certainly wouldn't trust it to give me an accurate reading

Customer Support : No Opinion
didn't deal with the company

Overall Rating : 1
peice of crap. If I spend 10 minutes I might be able to tune my guitar with it, but I'd just as soon tune by ear, even at a noisy gig.

Ease of Use : 10
It's a tuner. It doesnt have a "sound" (No loss in signal though...always a plus) Manual? Again, ill state that it is a tuner. I suggest playing harmonics to tune. (i do this with all tuners.) People say it jumps around alot, but this is only the case if you open string tune. Otherwise its great.

Sound Quality : 10
no noise. I am currently running (in no particular order),....
Peavey Milestone IV > DOD Tuna Tuner > EH:Small Stone phaser > DOD FX-25B Envelope filter > Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus > DOD FX-35 Octoplus Octave > Peavey Basic 50 Amp. No loss in sound from a tuner (+ option to silent tune during gigs)=10

Reliability : 10
Metal box=reliable. The only way to break these would be dropping out a high window or smashing it with a sledge hammer several times. Cant afford a back-up.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed it.

Overall Rating : 10
I jam and stuff. Play rock, funk, covers (phish, WSP, etc...), and some originals. It's a tuner. It either works or doesnt. So this got 10's because it tunes my bass with accuracy. I didnt compare it to other products cuz it has no sound. Maybe the boss is a little quicker, more accurate or whatever people say, but its also going to cost you at least 70 bucks. (prolly more.) For 20 bucks, this was a steal.

It is really hard to use. Even if it is in tune, the lights just flash sharp and flat. It is very hard to get an accurate reading out of it. Especially if you are in a hurry.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
I don't plug it in. It is too unreliable. I don't know what it will do to my sound.

Reliability : 3
We as a band use the Tuna as a backup. It is not good enough to be used as a regular tuner.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 2
I play a Rickenbacker 330 and it stays in tune pretty well. But if I am doing a lot of solos and note bending sometimes it does go out of tune in the middle of a set. The FX 12 is not the tuner that you want to have to rely on in a pinch. Don't even try to tune an acoustic or a bass through it. I was very disapointed in the product.

Easy, stomp and errrr... go

and then wait and wait and wait and if your lucky it might register a not you've plucked.. If your lucky

Sound Quality : 3
If you drop it from a great height onto an anvil you can get a fantastic Tom Waites type of sound from it..

Reliability : 1
You kidding --- I wouldn't leave home with it... it'll makes a great flower pressing weight or door jar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I took it to my local dealer he laughed at me and said.. You bought it? they're great for fighting off invading male fans from the stage just glue the lead into it and swing it around your head..

Overall Rating : No Opinion
It's BAD really BAd... there must be a design fault.. It takes ages and ages to register a note and then only if your very very chilled and feed it a saucer full of milk.. and then when your at home and think it looks so good you'll forgive it and try and see what's wrong.. It works fine! ONCE.

Easy to use, plug in and go.

Sound Quality : 7
Slight pop when you stomp it.

Reliability : 1
What a complete heap of shit. Nowhere have I come across such an unreliable piece of crap. Notes flying all over the place at any volume. It can be accurate if you have a spare half hour to tune up! No good for on-stage performance!

Customer Support : 1
Don't even bother with DOD support in Australia, they don't give a shit.

Overall Rating : 1
I own all Boss pedals and thought I'd take a shot with DOD. What a lesson I've learned! Stick with the Boss tuner.
