Despite the fact it's DOD and I've had bad experiences with them in the past I must say I really like this pedal and found it really easy to get a good sound, despite the silly control knob names (PUNCH, WOBBLE, PUSH & VIBRATE).

I'm not sure exactly how to classify what this effect pedal is, it's like a uni-vibe, but with more flanging than phasing, with some kind of chorus effect as well. It's pretty unique. I don't know exactly what use I can find for it, but I must say it's got a good spacey vibe to it, a little Incubus maybe.
I'm using this with a Fender American Standard Strat, an Ibanez Jem and a Gibson Explorer. The Fender, to my surprise, got the best range of sounds with the pedal. I'm using a VOX AC-30 as my main amp and a Fender Twin, which I use in the studio mostly as it's quite fragile.
I can't say any of my favourite artists use sounds like this, which can only be a good thing.

My complaints are - when turned on or off at gig volumes you can hear a definate thud, this is bad, and the Battery compartment is very weak, keeps coming open. I've had one DOD before and flogged it because it didn't stand up to abuse at all.

I play AC/DC, Black Sabbath, The Who, The Kinks, Supergrass, Ash and loads of other pop or rock-type bands. I'm not sure what use this has in a live gig situation, but for texture guitar sounds in the studio this is a great piece of kit. I can't compare it to anything else because it's quite unique.
