Let's just say you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out. Not too challenging for your average idiot.

At last, an alternative. The Crybaby is a good pedal, but I think the DOD is a good choice. Excellent wah. Even better volume control. One damn fine pedal.

Reliability : 10
Didn't they shell Iraq with these during Desert Storm? I was taking this block of steel out to my van and slipped on the ice on my driveway, releasing the pedal to a breif flight through the cold Michigan air. It landed end first on the cement, and NOT A SCRATCH! I had to put the battery cover back on, but other than that, it worked fine. Unfortunatley my butt had a rougher time on the ice, but hey, that's life.

A little pricey.... But worth it. Miy freind's Crybaby makes so much noise from it's stupid pots its not funny. A pedal for the electronically challenged or for those of us who are too lazy too clean our WAH pedals.

What can I say......it,s a wah-wah pedal...... it,s not to complicated The manual isn't very interesting, but like I said.....it's a wah-wah and not to complicated. The on\off switch has to be broken in but once your used to it, it's a breeze. It definantly has an advantage over the crybaby because when you turn the wha on your not in that annoying super treble\extended position that can cause an abrupt, rough entry.

Sound Quality : 10
It's a wah-wah, it sounds like a wah-wah is supposed to sound like.

Reliability : 10
This thing is built like a tank! It's solid brick of steel! Lets just say that you could kick this thing across the room, hit your bassist in the head then have it bounce back to you and it would barely scratch it.

Overall Rating : 8
Yes, I would buy it again. One of the best things about it is the way it's built. The company designed it so that there is considerably less distance for the pot to travel which in turn causes much less wear and tear. The crybaby wah's pot has to spin several times in one sweep of the wah. If your looking for this purchase to be a way of taking care of both of your wah and volume pedal needs you need to take caution. The volume aspect of this pedal gives a very uneven, "non-smooth" response. Therefore, I give the volume funtion a low rating. But, as for the wah.......It's great!

The person who just blew this pedal off in favour of the crybaby is obviously not open to a new and better whah than Jimmy's (god (small g) rest his soul.)
