easy to use, as there are no really extreme settings that could ruin a take.

i am a synthesist and play this with analogue mono synths mainly.
it is not noisy at all and has a very special sound quality to it.
i would describe it as vocal-like, mid-rangey, warm.
not your over the top, hissy, swooshing phaser (i love those as well).
plus, it doesn??t suck tone.

a nice and reasonably priced addition for any electronic studio,
good quality knobs and casing.
i am somewhat addicted to phasers and think this one has a special "vocal", oldschool subtleness to it.

Very easy. Once you get your tone set it and forget it. It is very easy to operate.

There is a lot you can do with this pedal. If you just want a little phase or you want that rotating speaker simulation. It is great to get that Brown Van Halen setting. I use this pedal in this setting:
Fat Strat. DS1. SD1.CH1. DOD20C.Ibanez DL5. Fender Deluxe.
On the contraire to most modulation pedals this one is quiet.
For the price this pedal does the job.

I play Rock and anything I can think of. This pedal covers a lot of ground.
I have been playing for 6 years and going strong. If it were stolen I would buy it again. I hate the plastic cover for the battery and that is about it. My favorite feature is the depth knob because if you set it high you can hear everything deeper. Is good as it is. This is analog and way better than any digital emulation. It will give you Ideas to work with and even write a new song.

great sound, this is what a phaser is suppose to sound like. I know that DOD was never to huge on making single effects pedals, but this phaser blows most out of the sky. I've played around with the digi-tech x-series phaser and found it to be too in-depth and sharp, i also tried the danelctro phaser (which only has one setting) and found it to be too weak. If your lookin for a great sounding phaser, the DOD is the right choice. also, I've heard that Boss makes a mean one too.

seems tough...i've had it for about one and a half years now and so far has stood the test of time, but if dropped on a hard surface from over 6 feet up...it probably wouldn't be the smartest thing to do.

very easy to use. though not as easy to find a sweet spot like my mxr or my uni-vibe. but once you find that spot, you'll love it...especially in stereo.

i use this with a truckload of other pedals. my rig goes as follows: guitar-visual sound rt66-vox wah-dano cool cat/with stereo out to amp 1-original ts9- dod stereo phasor w/stereo out to amp2-big muff-uni-vibe w/stereo out to amp3-fultone 70 fuzz-mxr phase 90 to amp4. two amps are peavey classic 410 combos and two are peavey classic50 heads into peavey classic 410 cabs. i crank the clean channels til she screams like my old marshall and go from there. one amp has a memory man echo in the loop and one amp has a rocktron short-timer delay in it's loop. the pedal does add some highs/take away lows but some parts demand that "tone". the effect in stereo is really great. i play everything from floyd to pure prarie league to srv. this pedal can cover it all.

overall this is a great bang for the buck. i've been playing for 15 years. you gotta overlook the previous posts by kids who have been attempting to make noise with a guitar and think incubus and hoobastank are actually talented musicians. if you are considering dropping big bucks for a phase shifter, give this one a try first.

Makes things a little muddy, but thats better than the MXR Phase 90 or the Boss Ph-3 which makes your signal louder/softer and distorted.

I wish they made the pedal all metal (the cheapest part is the plastic footswitch).

For the price - its half of a boss phaser and less than the mxr and i think it sounds awesome. the sounds can be subtle to extreme which is really cool. subtle is always nice but having something really obvious is nice too.

Nice phasing sound. The Regen helps with the awesome swirling speaker sound. Don't turn the depth up too high cause when the cycle goes up to the upper frequencies, the treble could hurt your ears more than Jenna Jameson riding a 2x4!

Overall a great pedal. It will inspire some songs and gives you a cool new sound. It can add a lot of spice to the cover songs you play and is great for playing things like Incubus and Hoobastank. Awesome pedal.

This is a fantastically easy pedal to use. You'd have to be drinking ink out of a rusty bucket to have any trouble in this department.

I can't really attest to the sounds authenticity, or compare it to other phasers, cause this is the only one I've ever owned. I can say this though; it isn't noisy unless you already have a bunch of hum going through the amp, in short it doesn't add any noise. It seems to cover all the bases, from Pink Floyd bends to crazy distortion and tapping. I like it.

no problems yet, but I like the design of the boss pedals much better, the switch on this pedal seems like it is likely to fail eventually.

I like this pedal a lot, it complements many tones. I think I'd like it more if I had bought it used, It sounds great, but I just keep looking at it and thinking...90 dollars, 90 dollars...... There's only one music store locally, and they really put the wood to ya. If I buy any other DOD effects, it'll be Ebay all the way.

Gibson LP, Fender Strat, Boss DS-2, Boss OD-2, Boss CH-1, DOD FX-747,
FX-20C, Dano trem, Crybaby wah. Sounds pretty darn good. I play alot of Nirvana stuff and Alot of Alternative stuff too. Even though Nirvana Doesnt use a phaser, I can still mix it in there sometimes.
