Ease of Use : 10
Way easy to use, controls are labled appropriatley, no freakin' stupid ass names on them, they do what they say.
The manual is okay, it explains the functions of the individual controls but its really not needed, doesnt take a damn rocket scientist to figure it out.

Sound Quality : 10
All I can say is shit! This thing is awesome, out with the JuiceBox, out with the TS9, and there goes my RealTube. The Ibanez PDD1 might even come out of the lineup! This box outdoes them all! Sweet ass tones everywhere, really expresses your picking, every little nuance flies out if it, damn best overdrive Ive ever heard. Cant believe it, and I cant turn it off!

Reliability : 9
This thing will smash a Boss box if you drop it on it, its freakin heavy! The only thing I dont really like is the plastic in/out plugs.
They always seem to wear out over time. Gotta dock it a point for that shit.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I wouldnt know, never tried. My first dano box, but based on this one not the last, just ordered the Rock-A-Bye. Chorus is next.

Overall Rating : 10
Every one goes into there setup, not gonna do it, lets just say there are 7 axes, all different, and 5 different amps. It sounds sweet on every damn one of them! The "tail lights" are cool, damn, gotta go play again!

Would have given this a 10 for ease of use, but there are so many options on this pedal, it WILL take some work to get it to do exactly what you want. It is not a plug and play toy. Features include a "Hum- single coil- bypass" switch, a boost function (5 or 10 db), a "blend" knob, and a Eq select knob as well as the usual tone, drive and level knobs. Having said all that, once I did get the sound I wanted, I can now pretty much just leave it and let it go.

My setup is huge, and I use lots of different guitars going to a Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12, and a small tube Marshall combo, so versatility is important to me, which is one of the reasons this pedal appealed to me. But even with all the knobs and switches, this is probably the best overdrive pedal I have ever heard. I would stack it up against a old Tube screamer anyday. The drive is warm without being just another weak distortion pedal that calls itself an overdrive. This thing really IS an overdrive. And the nice thing about it is it is very touch sensative. Whether I am using a Strat or Paul, if I dig into the strings, it comes to life, and if I back off, so does the pedal. That is a godsend in that I can just leave it on most of the time and not worry about it (who needs to worry when you on stage). The boost function does exactly what it is supposed to do. But the secret to this pedal is the eq select knob. It can go from "lo-fi" to a mesa like tube sound with a flick of the knob. The only 2 reasons I am not giving this thing a 10 is first, there is a reason they use a sumo wrestler as a logo, this pedal is HUGE so like me, you may have a hard time fitting this thing into a good pedalboard (that and I bet it eats batteries like nobodys business, I use a pedalboard with a power supply so I do not know). The other reason is the "hum-single coil-bypass switch". The manual says it makes up for the weaker output of single coils. That it does maybe too well. I found by engaging the single coil switch that it was TOO loud. So when I use single coils, I place it in bypass mode and turn the level down a bit. Not a huge deal, but a pain when your on stage and switch guitars. The single coil switch can also bring out some noise, but that has always been a fight when dealing with single coils and the volume boost on SC mode just brings it out more, bypass tames that some. Apart from all that, the warmest tube sound I have ever heard in a overdrive.

Built like a tank, I expect no problems there. But time will tell, I just bought it a week ago.

Never dealt with em.

I have played everything from pop to hard rock. Now I am playing in a hip church worship team, so being musically forceful without knocking people over is important, exactly what this pedal does. I leave it on and it gives the clean sounds more body, and if I use my amps distortion, it pushes the tubes harder. If I have a lead, push the "boost" and all the pieces for a great tone are right there. Sweet.
