It's about as easy as you'd expect from a chorus pedal, the usual controls, plus ths "mix" knob which adds some more versatility. Just play with it until you get the sound you want.

It sound like just what it is- a perfectly valid, usable chorus pedal, but for 15 bucks! I broke my vintage Boss CE-1, and stopped by Guitar Center on the way to a Saturday nite tuxedo gig, bought the thing without trying it, plugged it in on the job, and it worked just fine. Not noisy, but it does boost the overall level a little more than I'd like. (Hey, 15 bucks!) It may not be the sonic equivalent of a pricey AnalogMan (a beautiful sounding chorus, believe me!) or something of that ilk, or like my favorite, the JC-120 amp, but overall, it sounds warm and musical, good enough that I can see where working pro guys (that's me) will be using these things on a regular basis. I don't use chorus for any kind of musically innovative purpose, just to get the usual commercial generic sounds I need, working lots of casuals, sessions, church jobs, clubs, etc, here in LA. I like this little pedal a lot.

Reliability : No Opinion
No idea - I used it on two gigs, and it still works.

Never talked with them. It cost 15 dollars - that's good customer service, far as I'm concerned.

This is a perfectly good, usable, giggable FX pedal, for the price of a pizza. I haven't tweaked around with it much, but the sounds I've gotten so far work just fine. It sounds fat and musical, it doesn't suck away your basic tone, and it doesn't make a bunch of noise. My only complaint would be the level boost it gives, but then, my old Boss did the same thing, and for this sticker price, I'm not going to spend a lot of time complaining. Buy one - it works.

3 knobs. Not much to it.

I have a couple of RGT42's, an RG770, and an MH201 running into a Morley wah pedal->B52 AT100->Effects Loop->Fab Chorus->DE-1 Dan Echo. The sound in this setup is phenomenal. The Fab Chorus would get a 10 but I can hear an ever so faint low pitched whirring sound when it is on. I believe this is normal for a chorus pedal and you can't really hear it unless you're specifically looking for it. But still, it's there. I got nothing but positive comments from my band when I inserted the Dan echo and the Fab chorus into my effects loop.(I was using a Digitech Genesis 3 before).

Reliability : 7
It was cheap so if something happens you can get a new one without breaking the bank. I'm not really worried about it though. It's a hard plastic case with a metal bottom so who knows how long it will last.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them. Website is practically useless.

Overall Rating : 9
Overall, this pedal does what it's supposed to without sucking tone. That's all I ask. I have no complaints and with the price it's an amazing deal. Try one. You won't be disappointed.

Ease of use is quite easy indeed. Mix, speed and depth controls- sometimes on some units the concept of mix and depth are confusing, but in this case depth is akin to "width" and "mix" is the classic wet to dry ratio.

Sound Quality : 9
Sound quality is stellar, forget about the $15 price tag. Here are the guys I A/B'd this against:

Small Clone- a great pedal, but somehow the FAB sounds better, more versatile as well!

MXR Stereo Chorus- the best, but more "rackmount" liquidly in it sound. The Dano is more like an EH pedal.

Boss CE-2- by comparison, it was a bit weak and anemic, sits atop your tone.

So the Dano is an incredible buy!

I have other Fabs, this seems equally reliable.

never dealt with them, I have other Fab pedals and they have never failed, but this is the sonic standout by a mile.

The new Arion secret weapon chorus, i.e a cheap chorus that sounds awesome that will end up in pro rigs. The only thing it can't do is the hi-fi "TC" or "Carl Martin" or "Fulltone" chrous sound, so if you're playing new age jazz then get one of those, otherwise this is IT!
