Ease of Use : 10
very easy to use.
three knobs and one switch, that is fairly easy.
you really do not need a manual for this.

Sound Quality : 9
at the moment, I use an Ibanez SAS 32EX thru with it thru an EQ pedal thru Zoom G2.1u to a Roland Cube 20x.

it sounds basic but fairly good once you get used to it.

Reliability : 10
I can depend on this pedal and I know it wouldn't just break since I am not a rough handler of pedals.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I wish I had a contact to the company.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I play almost every music I can play and this pedal fairly matches up.
this thing serves me well and I think I'd be replacing it if it got lost or stolen.

it's just strange to have the knobs at the back along with the input/output jacks, it makes it a bit annoying to operate.

anyway, overall this is a good pedal if you want a basic overdrive with a good sound.

Ease of Use : 10
very easy to use.
bought it at a yard sale.
no box or instructions.
basically volume, tone, overdrive.
clearly marked input and outputs.
real simple, intuitive setup

Sound Quality : 10
i have used this with a variety of guitars.
fender hwy 1 telecaster
fender 2004 50th statocaster
gibson les paul jr nashville
prs signature
you get the drift.
i set the pedal up to match or just go over my amp volume
i role all the overdrive to off
the tone pretty much to full bass
volume where i need it.
plugged into an all tube fender bassman 10 amplifier.
this pedal is very nice.
maybe a little too much distortion, but easy to control with the guitar volume knob.
i play blues. roll down the guitar volume....nice clean rhythm..turn it up...cry and scream.
i have used just about every moderate priced pedal out there...boss, dod, rat, ibanez tube screamer, etc,....
i find the danelectro to retain the tone of my guitars the best....
the tube screamer adds mids...this pedal does not...the tube screamer looses bass...this pedal does not....i really like this pedal !!! it allows me to attenuate my 50 watts of hair raising power to levels that are cool...ie....wifey can watch tv in one room..i rock out in the other room....gotta love it !!

Reliability : 10
well...it works now...they are pretty cheap on the web, and appear plentiful...not too worried here...nice heavy built pedal and on /off works GREAT !!...nice blue LED !! very cool !!

Customer Support : No Opinion
never tried...never would...i know these things are made in China...
i don't expect it to be like my vintage dano's and silvertones, but hey...for $5 bucks at a yard sale ???....i ain't complainin'

Overall Rating : No Opinion
like i said...blues...i use humbuckers, but prefer single coils.
i just turned 55...got my first Kay when i was 11...i actually started playing pretty heavy when i was about 17 and never looked back...played well over 1000 gigs...if the pedal got lost, i would not sweat it...they are available everywhere and CHEAPER than a pack of cigs in NYC...thats for sure...hehehehe
compared to my $$$ tube screamer...i think...i like this better....for now !!!
i can make music with a string nailed to a board, so maybe i'm not the one to ask, but if you want my opinion, for what it's worth...buy one of these little ****ers and have yourself some fun.

The controls are fairly standard--overdrive, tone, level--though they're small and positioned in the back of the box. The part you step on to turn the unit on and off is a bit small. It's easy enough to figure out what sounds this unit can produce.

Sound Quality : 7
I play a Tribute Legacy into a silverface twin. This unit does indeed deliver an overdrive-like sound, albeit a bit grainy and metallic, and there's a bit of versatility in range of tones you can get. It's pretty good at getting some cheesy OD'd sounds like you might hear from Jack White or from the Black Keys. If you don't turn up the level too much it's not too noisy, which is surprising with a unit of this sort.

Reliability : 2
If you're old enough to remember cheap transistor radios, then this box will seem familiar. The input and output connections and the connector for the battery were dodgy right out of the box, and I tried to send back the unit, but the ebay seller I bought it from was a fly by nighter. Fortunately, if I get it work and don't kick it too hard or yank at a cable it seems to keep working. I don't play gigs, but if I did, I certainly wouldn't be using this pedal.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The unit does have a warranty, but it specifies a shipping cost that is virtually the price of the unit

Overall Rating : No Opinion
This would be a good pedal for a novice or other player who isn't too familiar with overdrive pedals and what they do. You're not really taking much of a risk at this price. If you like what it does, then eventually you can get real overdrive unit. Just try to buy these FAB pedals from a dealer who'll take it back if it's defective, which is not unlikely given the build quality of these things.
