Ease of Use : 10
If you know how to use a pedalboard you know how to use this.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
No sound on its own, sounds great loaded with dano minis.

Reliability : 10
Had it for years, stage and studio use, never a single problem.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Own this, a bunch of dano minis, a bass and have never had a problem with any of them. Hope I will never have to find out what danelectro's customer support is like.

This thing was one of the best buys I've ever made. I didn't think so at the time, but I always find myself going back to this pedalboard and my mini danos for inspiration or to try different combinations of effects out. You can buy the five mini modulation effects dano has (chorus, phaser, vibe, trem, flanger) and have a nice little multi-effects unit that is 100% analog for less than an actual digital multi-effects unit. My favorite is to load it with the Surf-n-Turf compressor, the Tuna Melt tremolo (or Chicken Salad vibrato), the French Toast octave distortion, the Hash Browns flanger (or Milkshake Chorus) and the PB&J Delay. With those pedals loaded man this thing sounds sweet and inspires me to play!

With all the choices these days - most of them very expensive - its nice to know you can get five great sounding effects and a pedalboard to boot for the price of one boutique overdrive and start rocking. I love companies like Danelectro and Behringer for making affordable gear that still sounds great. Yes I said great. I have over 17 years of playing experience, and I've done paid studio and stage work so I am not some kid who doesn't know what they are talking about. In fact I often find that it is the kids who don't know how to play who blame their bad sound on their gear.

This is as easy as unpacking it, and using it. Mine came with no manual, but anyone with any basic knowledge of how pedals work can use this.

Sound Quality : 10
I use this with several different Fenders, Gibsons, and cool old Japanese made copies of both brands through a 100 Watt Kustom Re-issue tube head through a 1968 Bassman 4x12 cab, and they sound great. There's not a bad effect amoung them. I especially like the grilled cheese distortion. Use that bad mamma jamma with a 72 Custom Tele, and you can play Satisfaction untill the cows come home. No humming noise from the pedals, nor the daisy chained power supply.

Reliability : 10
I would depend on this for quite some time. I don't have a backup for it, but I have no problems with that. It seems extremely dependable, and should keep me happy for quite some time.

Customer Support : 10
I've dealt with Danelectro before, and they were extremely helpful and curtious, and replied quite quickly. I've never had any problem with them, and they've always sent me all the information that I wanted.

I play Arena Pop (Marvelous 3 type stuff) and this is a great match. A metal playing friend of mine didn't like it, but then again, he only uses a Wah pedal, and his tube distortion. If it were stolen, I would most definately buy another one. The only thing I would do with it that is different from factory issue is I would replace the BLT Slap Echo (suitable for covers from the 50's - 60's) with a PBJ Delay, which is much more suitable for the type of music that we play.
