very good transistor-fuzz vibe, though i spotted a couple of IC's in there. Added upper octave that stands out more as you go up the neck. Think Hendrix Purple Haze, Kenny Wayne's Blue on Black, Adrian Belew stuff. Knobs all produce wide range of useful sounds. As with a lot of distortion devices and many fuzzes, this will start to buzz if you play a single coil guitar with the effect tone dimed and your computer on nearby but pull the tone down and it's not a problem.

just got it in the mail as only Musician's Friend seems to have heard of it. Even the dano website desn't mention it or the others of the new line. It's plastic and some complain about the stomp switch but I don't gig I just like good sounds.

I recently started making fuzz boxes through links on this site and found the foxx tone machine circuit and considered building it but it's a little complicated and then i find i can buy this (advertised as a FTM copy) for this kind of money. I like different sounds and this is a great addition.
