This little box is easy to use. Two knobs, one called mix, and the other, high cut. I did not receive a manual with this effects box. It has the same look as the larger Danelectro products, only in minature. Is is certainly not a spring reverb like on my old Fender Twin but it does do fairly well with the Crate 65GFX.

I have yet to find a real reverb at any price that is as good as an old fashioned spring reverb. Maybe that would be a good idea, if someone hasn't already done it. Make a spring reverb as a pedal. The ones that I have encountered on the Fenders do not look that complicated except for using half the tube wattage for the reverb. I don't see why there couldn't be a tube put in there though because Tubeworks and others vaunt their tubes. I am not too impressed with the sound on this little box, but as I say I have been playing through Fenders for a long while and bought a Crate GFX only for the weight factor. The reverb on it is the pits.(the crate)

I do not know how well made this little pedal is going to show itself. Usually when a company comes out with something new you are going to get a few bugs before all is straightened out.

No reason to deal with Danelectro. Bought this through Musicians Friend on the net. Will contact them if any problem comes up.

I play through a Fender Tele, a Gretsch Nashville, and a custom arch top. Use a Blues Driver, corned beef, and a Rocktek Chorus. All this goes into a vintage Twin Reverb, or an Ultimate Chorus, and here lately a Crate GFX 65. Never thought I would be using any type of pedals, may be the reason for the cheap pedals used with expensive guitars. Play mostly country, country gospel, or blues.
Have been messing with guitars for about 35 years. Most of my time was spent singing. I now am learning to play a guitar more than before. I depended on others to do the guitar playing on lead ins, turn aounds, fill ins, etc. I would tell anyone that if you want to play a guitar don't just learn the easy way but learn all there is to know about the instrument. Don't use the easy fingering istead of the harder four fingers. Use the bar chords no matter how much they hurt and don't forget to keep on practicing. Practice when you don't feel like practicing. Keep constantly running the patterns on your guitar even without the amp. Get to where you know your guitar neck as well as you know your car. Don't be as concerned about the mechanics as listening to what you are playing. Earl Campbell became a very famous guitar player for many bands long before he started singing because he could come up with some great guitar solos that always fit right into the song, and witout a hint of a page note. All of it was in his head. He would sit and make up melodies and fill ins. A few people will be able to pick up guitar playing very easily. For most it will be just like with me. You will have to practice and practice. Don't forget to make your own sound. Don't try to sound like someone else. You will have to at first. As soon as you get a chance make your own style. That is what makes a guitarist or singer, that little bit of difference from everyone else but yet good. Keep on pickin'

Only two knobs, but the markings aren't very clear as to what the functions are that they control. Conventional reverb knobs would be something like "depth" or "rate". But the knobs on this pedal are for "mix" and "high cut". Weird, but it isn't a problem getting the reverb dialed in the way I like it.

This isn't going to give you a Fender-like lush spring driven reverb. But it does give a good sound that enhances a reverb-less amp, like my Pro Junior. Definitely takes care of the boxy effect and gives it some much needed depth.

I've only had this for a short while, but I'm planning to be cautious with it. The case is high impact plastic, which could probably take some abuse. But it definitely isn't a brick, like Boss pedals. If used reasonably, it'll probably hold up well.

For the low price, this little pedal definitely delivers. As I mentioned before, you won't get the deep Fender type reverb with a little pedal like this. But it does a good job of deepening the sound of a small tube amp.
