one knob, that's all. deep phasing.

Sound Quality : 8
reminds me of a cheap EH small stone but worth the money if you have a love/hate affair with phasing. i like it but on higher gain amps and guitars with vintage type speakers it can max out on the low end, creating a bizarre grind with distortion applied. i think it sounds lush and clear with a sligh application of overdrive, distortion kind of makes it out of control. i use an sg and british style tube amps.

Reliability : No Opinion
use a 9v power pack and battery backup to be safe.

what a deal. a little less precision than the EH small stone but it's half the money, what a deal. i will use this for fun. sounds better than the dano mini flanger, of the two, keep this one.

Ease of Use : 10
any stomp box is easy to use, let alone something w/ 1 knob

Sound Quality : 7
sounds alright in the music store thru a Fender solid state amp & cheap Epiphone; have yet to take it home to use on my gear.

Reliability : No Opinion
i'd be careful about wearing heavy boots/shoes.

Customer Support : No Opinion
no one should need customer support for a stomp box.

Overall Rating : 7
Been playing 22+ years. I play metal, progressive rock & attempt playing jazz. Basic setup is a Mesa/Boogie 50 Caliber combo with a vintage Boogie 4x12, V-Twin preamp, Vox wah.

The Pepperoni is comparable to the MXR Phase 90. Still prefer the Boss PH1 or PH2, which sounds richer.

No more digital rackmount gear for me. Back to basics with all analog.

1 knob. If you can't figure this out............

Sound Quality : 8
The knob is very sensitive (small changes go a long way) and you can make both subtle and dramatic phasing sounds with this unit, but it is very noisy. For live situations this is irrelevant but it adds a lot of buzz/hum during recording. With the depth knob set to the lowest possible level, this actually makes a great chorus pedal.

Reliability : 9
Cheap plastic casing. Can't give it a 10 because it's not Boss solid, but it holds up.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 8
Overall, as someone who needs only a limited amount of phasing (for the occasional solo or whatnot) this is a great value. If my entire sound depended on phasing I'd get a unit with more features, better tone, and less signal noise, but for someone who just wants a phaser lying around in case you feel like using it, then this is an absolute bargain.

One knob, one footswitch........................ very easy!!!!

Sound Quality : 8
When the unit is turned on with phasing effect turned zero it fattens your guitar sound in good way. The phasing sound is mild and doesn't fuck up your sound but it isn't completely transparant either, it is just good. the unit is on par with the famous mxr phase 90 but the soundspectrum is a little smaller. When you turn the knob completely clockwise there is also a nice leslie rotation speaker effect.

Reliability : 6
The unit is plastic and comes with a extra knobprotection slide-over see throug plastic cover. Will it hold? If you're carefull yes, if you stomp them over the stage no. The knobs are small but not nessesarily fragile. The inner work looks good and the bottomplate is strong enough. Yes they can last.

Customer Support : 8
Don't know, but their Dutch import service was nice enough to send a couple of other Danelectro effects to my local music shop just for me to try out. So that is good enough.

Overall Rating : 10
I like to rock and this unit makes a good add-on sound to my other effects, it blends in nicily and does what it supposed to do.
An exelent effect for little money, looks enormously cool and is just good fun. I would't even consider buying another more expensive brand for an effect that I only use on occasion and in what it does it's just so little below the best ones out there that for me it would be completely insane te pay more for another brand. Big cuddo's to Danelectro

One knob for speed- that's it.

Sound Quality : 8
Amazing for the price, and just plain good at any price. Resembles a Phase 90- very organic sounding. Gives a nice "Have a Cigar" and "Shine On" tone.

Reliability : 5
Looks dodgy, I'd go easy on it. But, yeah, Id play w/o a backup.

I got a deal cause it was I bought it new but w/ no box or manual at my local music shop and for twenty bucks this pedal is an incredible value. Elsewhere it goes for $29.99- go get one.

Very easy to use, it only has one knob.

No manual.

Sound Quality : 9
This has a very nice sound. I like the pedal because of how simple it is (one knob).

The only downfall on this pedal is when using distortion it has a very tiny volume drop when on ... but sounds great with distortion and without.

Reliability : 10
Should last for years as long as it's not stomped on.

My pedal is in a Dano plastic case (with AC power).

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 9
A nice (and cheap) phaser. It has a great sound and is very easy to use.

One knob. How easy is that?

Sound Quality : 8
Ok, I am not on the champagne budget that can afford classics like the MXR scripts or Ross phasers. I have played these, and they ARE excellent!! But, simply, I cannot afford them at the present. The Pepperoni is a GREAT approximation for 30 bucks list! This is a great deal. I doesn't have the low end of the mentioned classics, but still phases nicely for the price. A must for my funk and rock styles and 70's leanings. I play Rio Grande Teles, and Reverend amps. This pedal can get the "Flashlight" sound by Parliament AND the opend a-chord intro to "Some Girls" by the Rolling Stones

Reliability : 9
It's little, but it comes with a nice plastic cover to protect the knob from the stomping of cowboy boots.

none, yet

Great champagne tones for the beer budget

1 knob, if you cant figure it out, let your nieghbors retarded kid show you.

Sound Quality : 9
it surprised me. first i plugged it in after distortion and it sounded like a deep spacey thing, way too intense for anything- other than maybe 1 solo (something out there). i didnt find it noisy, but if you have a noisy setup- expect to hear your noisy setup do circles. sounds good to me on any setting. after i learned to plug it in BEFORE distortion, it really shined. it does that "watery-wah" sound with your lead. and i like it clean for rythm. slower, it does the slo-mo spinning cycle (great for clean strummed or arpp. stuff) ....faster settings do a pretty good "vibe". my favorite vibe setting is to max it(which is too fast), then back off and slow it down a little. it surprised me when i accidentally found that spot-now i use it for anything "vibe". i run from a les paul with good pickups>pepperoni phaser>distortion>echo/delay>amp. that setting really does a decent vibe for stuff like little wing and machine gun. sounds convincing enough....no, its not a leslie-but half the magic is in your hands....spanky knows what i'm talkin' bout

Reliability : 7
i dont stomp on it. i've had other dano's and they lasted while i had em'. i probably wouldnt gig with them (not for sound reasons-for plastic reasons)if it were in a metal tank, i'm sure a few of these minis would get better reviews/more respect

Customer Support : 10
good folks to deal with

Overall Rating : 8
i like it alot. for some reason, i've seemed to have tried most of the other minis, but not this one. i guess because the zoom 505 i had when i was 19 or 20 gave phasers a bad rep with me. sounds good. i use it for clean rythm alot. i also use the vibe-mode a good bit. when i play Sublime-type stuff (upstroke-ska) i put the phaser on slow and it sounds pretty trippy. i would give it overall higher if it had a better case. i play (who cares???) alot of different styles...anything exept shit-stomping country. no offense to any inbreds that dig it..its just too weak for me to strum along. besides, i dont think anyones ever showed those country-pickers a distortion pedal. anyway, overall its one of the better dano mini's. there are a few keepers in the mini-line, and this is one

Couldn't be easier : one knob !

Sound Quality : 6
Strat thru pair of fender 75's and 4-12 Hiwatt.

I needed the sound of that Gm6 chord in 'Shine On'. I got for a few dollars. But then it really surprised me when it went univibesque on some hendrix tunes ! Quite interesting. However, people who called it 'silent' surely play with very low volumes and wattage. With a cranked tube amp, the thing is noisy as hell. You actually have to wait till the drummer starts or someting before stomping on it ! But let's be fair : it's a vibey little thing.

Reliability : 7
I don't have backups. So far, so good.

Didn't deal with them.

I play 70's style stuff, and been playing for 25 years. It's a cheap-o pedal, but if you're into lo-fi (electric guitar, somehow, is all about lo-fi) then go for it. Yes, it does help you make music, it's not a gimmick. The guy who designed it was into good tone. I love the vibe, and hate the noise, but it does the job. When I do get the 400 $, I'll buy a Univibe, though.

Easy to use and very simple. A straightforward unit. Mine had no manual and who needs it? I got this from a music store for $20, it was their demo.

Sound Quality : 5
Sound quality is what you would expect from a unit at this price. No excessive noise problems. Switches and knobs work quietly. However, I have noticed that the low tone starts to distort when the battery starts to run low. But this happens before the battery light indicates low battery.

Reliability : 9
Had no problems with this unit.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 5
This phaser is suitable for what it is, but nothing special. You get exactly what you pay for. Great item if you are on a very tight budget. If it was lost or stolen, I would probably get something else.
