It is very easy to use. just 2 knobs, one for speed and one for depth(needed for that lush chorus sound) AND

Sound Quality : 10
For one, it does not feedback, even with distortion on. Unlike the el cheapo fab chorus pedals they make this one works on overdriven/distorted settings and sounds as well. on clean it sounds very lush, chorusy sound when you turn the depth knob up to 12 and leave the speed down on 0, and on distorted it gives you the 80's metal sound, which I was hoping to nail down. Folks, this what a true good chorus pedal is suppose to sound like. also when you turn the speed up, it gives you a spacey warbly sound.

I just had for a day without any problems thus far. I would gig on it without backup, and if it broke down or give out, i would replace it with another one or go for a Cool Cat pedal. my only complaint is that I wish it was made of metal instead of hard plastic, which is why I am giving it a 9

nope and hope I don't have to either.

Overall Rating : 10
I play traditional metal, hard rock blues, and classical music styles and it suits my styles well. compared to higher end pedals by Ibanez and boss, this blows both of them away, and only EH's(Electroharmonix) nano clone comes close to it in sound. I am glad I did not get the nano clone pedal have break down on me or another Ibanez chorus/flanger pedal that does not give out a true chorus sound. A fantastic value indeed.

Easy as pie...two knobs and a button!

Sound Quality : 9
I originally got this pedal while I was in a Nirvana-craze...most obviously I was trying the get the lush tone from Come As You Are, and I got this pedal to sound pretty close to it. Even as my tastes have shifted over the years, this pedal still fills a useful niche. I like the sounds it can create, and even with only two knobs the varying parameters of the effect are adequate. There's a really bizzare spacy sound you can get with both knobs turned up all the way (though I've had not much use for this sound yet). But I find the sweet spot of this pedal is really the middle ranges of the depth and rate knobs, at least for my tastes.

Reliability : 6
It seems pretty flimsy at times. I've yet to drop it, so I don't know how it would hold up on the road. I've heard these pedals are tougher than they look. The plastic chassis is rather hard and thick, so it could be true. I'm a little concerned about the battery cable as it also appears flimsy whenever I open the back to change it out. And SPEAKING of the battery, this is one point of the pedal that I've been disappointed with...it tends to suck it dry too quickly! A lot of times I like to leave the pedal plugged in when I step away for a bit. Even though the switch is not activated it is still draining the battery. This should not be the case! It should have been built to only use the battery when the switch is on, not when it is simply plugged in. I know there is a port for an AC adaptor, but I'm already using one for my processor, so I'd rather not have to add another in.

Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 8
I play heavy/hard classic rock, and as far as I'm concerned this pedal fits the part nicely. Were I ever to replace it, I might upgrade to a larger chorus pedal that doesn't appear so flimsy in design (at times I'm just afraid I'll break it!). But as long as I have it, I will use it. I like its sound quality very much. I'm not that picky with effects, but as I am fascinated with chorus and modulation effects in particular I do spend considerable time finding a good chorus tone, and I can say truthfully that this pedal gives me all the flavor I'm looking for. Plus, the name "Milkshake" just conjures up so many sweet, creamy images. It describes the effect perfectly.

very simple to operate, 2 knobs

ok, as a chorus effect.. this thing is mediocore, but it is a unique sounding effect. I am not really into a chorus sound, but when I tried this in a pawn shop, I had to buy it. It can get some really creepy sounding chords out of my ukulele with both knobs maxed without it taking over the sound of the instrument like most choruses do. With depth at 3 o'clock and the speed at about 9:30, this thing adds a sort of "full metallic tone" to your instrument. I also tried it on bass and would not recommend it.

Reliability : 4
I've had all sorts of these many danos and I've found most of them are built like junk.

I paid 25 bucks for this thing and I am more than satisfied. I have owned many danelectro mini pedals, and this is the best I've used yet. I play mostly funk, rock, and 27th Century porno-grind and this works well for it! I've only tried it on a ukulele and bass(no guitar) and I love how subtle it is. It doesn't try to run the show like many other choruses do. I am very satisfied with this purchase. But if you are looking for a good chorus effect, I would reccommend the small clone.

Two knobs a button and in/out jacks geez!!!!!

Sound Quality : 5
Well for a $20 pedal I guess its pretty good. But I was never able to get the chorus right on it just was allways a hair off the mark.It sounded lush and full but was allways off the mark timing wise or something.I can't really put my finger on it its been awhile.Would be good as a first chorus pedal just to see if you like chorus.Or would be good if your on a very low budget and needed a chorus or if its a once a night effect and its importance is utmost. But its just not a professional effect.

Reliability : 3
I wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw it.Its pretty cheap.

Overall Rating : 5
OK pedal for $20 and good as a backup or were the effects quality isn't utmost important.

ez to use and get good sound out of, 2 knobs really seem to be just right for these kinda mini pedals but not so sure for chorus effects in general...

Sound Quality : 9
like it says "milkskake" chorus, I can think of no other diner flavor but this beverage to go along with its sound. I only got 1 other chorus pedals 'cool cat' and boss ce5 ive compared too and this pedal doesnt sound as natural or warm as 'cool cat' but it still has a better metallic sing then the ce5, anyway good sounding cheap pedal.

Reliability : 7
it's a cheap pedal really but still tuFF and yet small and does well on 9v would recommend it for home practise...

this pedal sounds nice through my tele and deville 212 but I replaced this with cool cat, which has a better sound overall but this milkshake is not too far off from this pedals sound, its just cheap and made for beginners in my opinion but this pedal makes a point of good sound doesnt have to come fancy...

2 knobs, speed and depth. This is one of the first pedals i've owned an bought it because it seemed like a simple, beginner type pedal. With this pedal, simple chorus effects are all you should be looking for and nothing more.

Sound Quality : 6
I am not sure of the best use for chorus effects, but the setting that I use does produce a beautiful, angelic type sound that works well for blues or classical styles (speed and depth at 12oclock). I find that other settings sound really tinny, and sometimes barely audible. I use a Crate GX-15w amp and a Cort Zenon Z2 guitar. Not the most expensive setup, so I'm not sure if better quality equipment will bring better results. But comparitively my other Danelectro pedals are much more versatile.

Reliability : 4
The day after i purchased it, the pedal started emitting a high pitched squeal. I played it alone and with some of my other pedals (which were new) and it wouldn't stop. I returned it for exchange and was told it may have been a bad batch. I was given a replacement that was apparently from a different batch and so far it is ok (1 week later). My main use for it is practice. If I were to use it for a gig, i would be a little uneasy about pressing on that button.

Customer Support : 2
Got it replaced quickly, but that may have more to do with the shop I purchased it from being friendly and helpful in getting a replacement for me.

Overall Rating : 6
I love the sound I get from it's current setting. It was cheap, and one of my first pedals, so I'm not over critical of it. The Milkshake is definitely great for people who are new to chorus effects. If there were any other settings I could use I would be happier with it, but the setting I have now is suitable for most of the music I put together. I wish it had a manual describing what type of music, or style of play, would benefit from the different combinations of speed and depth. Overall I think this is worthy for first time purchasers of a chorus pedal. Those who are familiar with the nuances of chorus may want to purchase something else.

Sure its easy to use. 2 knobs big deal. Whats hard is trying to get it to sound good.

Sound Quality : 3
This chorus has one sound, a generic kind of rich, lush sound. But as time passes it will drive you mad! Its noisy, it boosts, it distorts and kills frequency response. I have a rule about buying a chorus. It's got to have 3 knobs or more. After awhile I could only run it in one spot, the sweet spot. But don't let that fool you. As in alot of cheap effects you can obtain the best sound that that unit is capable of, call it the sweet spot, and it's still sub par. I guess its alright for some beginner on a tight budget. For the same price or cheaper you can get an Arion chorus thats got 3 knobs.

Reliability : 8
It's tough, metal case. mine still works after 4 years

Overall the sound is the main thing. not how durable or if it looks cool. If this is going to be your 1st chorus, then go ahead and buy it if you must.

Very easy to get the sound you need within the pedals limits. I have an old amp with built-in chorus and I get better depth and speed, but this one is easy to use.

Sound Quality : 9
The sound out of this unit is great. I've tried it with several setups. Telecaster into chorus into amp(80's crate and fender practice 15R)... No noise there. The options you have on this pedal are great and it sounds very clean, thick chorus, but of course, it could be better. For the price, this is an awesome pedal.

Reliability : No Opinion
I haven't had this pedal too long. Hard to say how dependable it is. The plastic seems a bit sturdier than my preconceived notion. No need for backup in my line up.

I've been playing guitar for 6 yrs. I play all kinds of music and this pedal is a great addition to my chain. I would probably get this pedal again if if were lost or stolen... If it happens to crap out on me I might go with a different brand or not get a chorus at all. GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK!!!

Easy, simple to use -- two knobs with good range. Set to your hearts content.

Sound Quality : 8
I have played this with my Ibanez AEF18NT (Acoustic/Electric) and my Gretsch 3150.

For a little unit, this has a great chorus effect...especially on the A/E guitar. No distortion, but when battery is dying...the sound goes to crap (as is the case with all of these similar units). I love tweaking the dials to get what I want; especially when I have the Gretsch and put my Johnson amp into overdrive.

Quality of sound is a little on the dry side, but great none the less. Might be better to run it in line with more effects for better results. Can't be beat for $30 bucks, though.

Reliability : No Opinion
Seems to be built tough, no problems yet.

Look at what others are saying. I've personally never dealt with them, but support doesn't seem to be existent.

Been playing for 5+ years. I bought this unit in a 4-pack, and haven't had any complaints yet. It does the job for what I need and you can't really go wrong for the price. Worth every penny.

Serious players or studio musicians will probably want a more versatile unit -- suggest looking at other brands before buying this. If you are playing small gigs or at home, this one is all you need!

It has two knobs (speed and debth) and its very very easy to use. And easy to get the sound you want in a minute...

Sound Quality : 8
I have to say i was suprised when i got it! I play alot of nirvana, smashing pumpkins and alternative stuff like that. I usually keep the speed low, it adds a nice creamy tone. I use a vintage PRS and a custom made stratocaster and its perfect. I can get my "come as you are" tone in just a few seconds... Its a "no nonsense" pedal. It does what it has to do, without all that other fancy stuff.

Reliability : 6
It hasnt broke down yet. But i have to say its pure plastic, and it doesnt look reliable. Id gig without a backup (who has backup pedals anyway? Or are you all that rich? :P). I`ll rate it a 6

Never contacted them, so cant judge them...

Overall Rating : 8
Its a nice pedal, easy to use. Its very small though so thats not an advantage. Besides that im happy with it. I bought it for 20 euro and its worth every cent. Its perfect for my style of music. If you can get it for a low price id buy it.
