Uh, two knobs

Sound Quality : 1
This is the noisiest piece of crap I've ever heard, which kinda surprised me because I just love their big chorus box, which is really the one you should get. I couldn't give this back fast enough. Garbage

Reliability : 3
Who cares; you ain't gonna buy this

I've heard bad things about them. Never called them myself

Overall Rating : 1
Don't bother with this. Put another 25 bucks to the money and buy the Cool Cat

Two knobs and a button. I dunno... There's no manual but if you need one there's a third knob...

Sound Quality : 9
Right now I'm using it with a Cort Stellar into a Rocktek phaser and the Chorus through to a Crate EL-10G practice amp. It's very quiet, unlike my Phaser and I find it very simple to get anything from a slight chorus all the way to an explosion of noise. I've only had it for two days but it's now evident that I'm gonna love this thing for a long while still...

Reliability : 8
Well it is made of plastic and I'm afraid I might brake it if I stomp it too hard- but I've never actually heard of one braking. I'd gig without a backup, but only because I'm tight for cash, even though this little baby is great... I have only had it for a couple days though, so I might change my mind later.

Have not had to contact them

I play rock and heavy metal, and although I haven't yet found too many uses for it I'm gonna use it as much as I can. It's cheap it's simple and it works like a charm. My only complaint is the fact that you don't feel the button latch down when you turn it on, you have to look at the LED display to see if it turned on. I'm now heading out to see if I can get a Pepperoni phaser because the phaser I have now just fell apart. I'm planning on buying the entire set they're so great!

Two knobs - Depth, which controls the depth, and Rate, which you guessed it, controls the rate. Figure it out, dinghead.

Sound Quality : 1
This is a poor sounding chorus. I bought it on a whim along with four other dano minis (grilled cheese, pastrami od, pepperoni phaser, and blt slap echo). This is by far the poorest pedal of the lot. I grew tired of all of them after a week and brought them back and exchanged them. Didn't mind the other four too much - just kind of lifeless. The chorus was the only one that ended up seriously pissing me off, and actually probably led me to become more quickly and realistically disillusioned with the other four pedals. The notes sound sick no matter how you set the depth. The rate is slow enough at it's slowest, but never gets nearly fast enough at it's fastest. You could make funny circus noises with this pedal if you want to, but that's about it. Don't blame it on my rig because it's a PRS Custom 22 through a Dr. Z Ghia. Not solid state or cheap crap. After a while I got so sick of this pedal that I wanted to smash it against the wall (and for $33.95 I could maybe afford to do that if I wasn't a poor college kid), but realized that I could bring it back and exchange it for something useful. I bought it to get a chorusy Creed type sound. IT WILL NOT GET YOU EVEN CLOSE. What it will get you is a warbley, seasick, out of tune, wet fart in a dark damp room kind of sound. Other than that I really like this pedal!

Reliability : 5
Cheap plastic. I've been through this in my other dano mini reviews already. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Dunno.

Overall Rating : 1
They should sell these at Toys 'R Us. The other Dano minis are at least novel - this one just pissed me off. Get a real chorus like a voodoo labs analog chorus.

Come on Dave, give me a break!

Sound Quality : 3
The chorus effect is pretty good. Lush, not transparent so it may drive you nuts if it is on too long. But it is noisy. Oh man, is it noisy!!!

Reliability : No Opinion
Looks pretty cheap - I think $40 bucks for this is way too much. It's a toy.

Here's the deal. I took this pedal back because although the chorus is good it is way too friggin noisy!!! It is not too noticeable when you are playing but when you stop, this stinkin' thing sounds like windshield wipers on full in a Peruvian downpour!!! You think I'm kidding? And absolutely forget about trying to use it with any distortion (which I like to use a chorus with). As luck would have it I found a used Boss CE-2 for $65, a week after I bought this. Best damn chorus I ever heard. And quiet? You betcha! That pedal I will never part with. Bottom line is I'd never use a milkshake chorus even if I was paid to. Well maybe, everyone has their price.

Two knobs, plug in and play. I just auditioned this at B.E. Music in Rutland, V.T.

Sound Quality : 8
Telecaster through (are you ready?) a Fender mini-twin! This unit is incredibly quiet. I used to have an MXR Micro-chorus and it had a lovely whooshing sound when I wasn't playing. With this I can take my
hands off the guitar with the depth all the way up and the silence is beautiful. The depth of the effect is great but the fastest setting is not very fast, although I usually use a small amt. of gentle chorus anyway.

Reliability : 8
It's plastic so it's probably not as roadworthy as the larger Dano pedals but it looks so cute! As far as long-term use, who knows?

Customer Support : No Opinion
Buy from a store you can trust.

Overall Rating : 10
Great sound , but I realized that I still prefer phase effects so maybe I'll dig out my old MXR Phase 100 and have it fixed. That beast rocks!

Two knobs, speed and Depth, pretty obvious really....

Sound Quality : 10
I use this pedel with a Squier Strat going into a Squier Sidekick amp, this little box is the perfect match for a low buck rig, like the Guitar and amp, it sounds like it cost alot more than it did.
This is to the Cool Cat what the Squier Strat is to the Mexi Standard - basically a cost effective approach to achieving the same result. I think it sounds much like it's Cool Cat bigger Brother, which is pretty darn good considering it costs half as much. The effect can be adjusted from a very subtle enhancement that gives just a hint of warmth, to a weird Cosmic Circus sound that will melt your Brain Cels.
I like the Speed near Zero, with the Depth at about half way - this has a nice jangly 12 string type sound, that is suprisingly warm, not at all brittle sounding, and it doesn't add any noise either, overall, I Like the sound alot.

Reliability : 7
Well, it seems pretty solid, though it's definatly smaller than the Cool cat, but I think it'll hold up.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The thing works as advertised, so I haven't contacted them.

Overall Rating : 10
I play all kinds of Music, I'm not crazy about having lots of pedels, because I don't like hiding behind effects - I use this one sparingly, mainly to enhance rhythm chords, over which I record the Lead tracks clean, with no effects, it makes for a nice contrast. I like this little Beast alot, it has a nice sound, and it comes free in specially marked boxes of Cheerios - I Love it when cheap stuff turns out to be really good!

It is extremely easy to get a great sound out of this pedal. I mean, it's only two controls (Speed and Depth) so you twiddle a bit. I wouldn't venture to far on the depth (12:00 is good) because you end up with some ugly notes...but it's easy to get swirling to smooth sounds.

Sound Quality : 10
I am using an Epiphone Dot (like an ES-335) with a fender Princeton 112 amp. I also had my DOD Phaser and Flashback Fuzz, and my Crybaby Wah in there. It is only noisy if you use an old school power supply (like me) there is a little swirl in the background, barely noticeable, becomes more prevalent with other effects on...just turn off your boxes when you aren't playing. This is probably the best sounding Chorus i've played next to it's big brother, the Cool Cat (expect to pay 60 more for it!).

Reliability : 8
It seems very stable. Very solid. I would count on it at a gig.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Couldn't say.

Overall Rating : 9
I play punk/ska in my band...a lot of 60/70's rock on my own. It fits like a glove. I would definitly pick up another if it was stolen...this baby is great and you can't beat the price. I love the swirling sounds it creates, very unique, not at all middle of the road. Plus you can't beat the retro look. This is definitly much more unique than the competition. I wish it had an analogue simulator...some nice tape fuzz...hehehe, i want to much...nobody offers this!
