Ease of Use : 8
This pedal is very easy to use as are all Danelectro pedals. It doesn't come with a book of settings so it is a little hard to find a good one at first. It doesn't take much more that 5 minutes to do so though.

Sound Quality : 8
I am using this pedal with a Danelectro Hodad or U2-56 through a Peavey Classic 30. At some settings the effect seems overbearing but I think that was due to the volume of my amp. I had it around 1 and a half. It seems like the louder the amp the ,ore it blends. I think my tubes may need replacing soon too so that may be it as well.

Reliability : 7
It is an extremely small pedal. It is not made out of the same material previous Danelectro pedals are and yet I feel it would hold up in a gigging situation. It doesn't seem like it would break too easily.

Customer Support : 7
I haven't had to deal with the company thus far with it however I have previouslyt emailed them about other concerns and their replies are quick and friendly.

Overall Rating : 8
This is a very good flanger for the money and I bet it would beat out on a boss or DOD in a second. I would buy another if it was lost or stolen. I plan on buying some of their other mini effects as well such as the Phaser, Compressor and Tremolo.

Three little knobs (it's a little pedal).....kindof hard to use with my not too little fingers, but not a big deal. Speed, return and width or depth or something (don't have it here with me), but no rocket science involved here.

Sound Quality : 8
I used it with a Boss echo/reverb pedal and a Vox Pathfinder, which guitar......? Oh yeah, Dearmond M75T. Pretty cool sound. A bit noisy, but with a transistor amp and single coils, I wasn't put off by it. The speed knob didn't do alot until you hit 3 o'clock, and then it went from sortof slightly fast to REALLY fast very quick. The other controls worked more evenly. Tweaked just right it made a bit of a Lesley-like spinning sound, which was what I wanted, so I'm satisfied.

Reliability : 5
As opposed to Dano's "main" pedals, these have plastic covers and plastic knobs. I don't think they'd last a gig with someone doing a Rage Against The Machine thing. And they're small, too....very small. With the dark colors might be hard to see on a dark stage, and if it got stomped wrong it would suffer.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Well, I like my Dano chorus and Daddy-O, and I kindof wanted a flanger but not so much I wanted to spend >$50. This one's just fine for as much as I'll use it (once in a while). Especially for the price, it sounds fine. I use a lot of echo and reverb, so I'm going to try those two pedals too. Again, at these prices, and with catalog return policies, why not? If it were lost I'm not sure I'd care, but I didn't have to spend a lot and now I have a decent sounding flanger when I want it. Can't be bad.
