Not bad. The manuals tell you exactly what every knob adjusts and give you sample settings.

Sound Quality : 10
I play a Reverend Avenger into my Pevey Express and run the pedal board through the effects loop. It's noise-free and has true bypass. I never lose any of my guitar's tone on any setting. The echo pedal can simulate analog or digital delay and that classic tape echo. It's extremely versitile and can take you from mellow rockabilly to wailing solos. The Fab Tone distortion delivers and in-your-face, ballsy, insanely high gain. It can please even the most hardcore metalhead. The Cool Cat chorus shimmers and with the speed set high, it duplicates the Nirvana Come As You Are sound. The Daddy-o overdrive can go from Texas Blues to the hardest rock. It pulls of the Stevie Ray tone when the settings are just right.

Reliability : 10
Very reliable. These things are solid metal and when they're mounted on the factory display board, they won't move. I use this rig without a backup and I haven't had any problems yet.

Excellent. I bought this used from a dealer, but there were no manuals with it. I emailed Danelectro and within three days, I got all of the manuals delivered to my door. Great service!

Overall Rating : 10
I play a wide variety of styles from rapcore to jazz and this system can give me everything I need. When I add a wah pedal to the set, I'll never need any other pedal. I absolutely love these pedals and would recomend anyone, no matter what type of music you play, to go out and purchase one. You won't be disappointed.

Danelectro makes a 5-pedal demo pedal board for dealers to use in their music stores. Its called the "Demo Board 2." This demo unit contains all five of the Dano pedals: the Dan-Echo delay, Cool Cat chorus, FabTone distortion, Daddy-O overdrive, and the Dan-O-Matic tuner. In case you?ve never seen one, its a large, wedge-shaped pedal board that?s made out of a sturdy, composite material. It has a couple of big Danelectro logos on it.

The kit comes with four patch cords to go between the effects, as well as a dedicated 120-volt AC power converter to supply the effects pedals with the 9-volt DC and 18-volt DC power so you?ll never need batteries.

Using it is as easy as plugging your guitar and amp into the demoboard, and connecting the AC power supply. The individual pedals are easy enough to use. See the other reviews here for more information.

If you like Dano pedals, the demo pedalboard will blow you away.

As it comes from the factory, the Demo Board 2 has all five effects wired in a "cascade" configuration, in the order Tuner > Overdrive > Distortion > Chorus > Delay. Running through all five effects with an unbuffered signal can strain your signal a bit, resulting in some voltage loss and the dreaded "tone sucking." My dealer cured this problem by running my vintage strat into an MXR Mirco-Amp and sending the output into the Demo Board 2.

My dealer and guitar tech (www.custombasses.8m.com) suggested rerouting some of the effects through my amplifier?s effects loop, suggesting that the Chorus and Delay would sound better this way. Doing this drives the effects with a line-level signal markedly improves the "tone sucking" problem. My setup looks like this: Strat > MXR Micro-Amp > Tuner > Overdrive > Distortion > Amplifier > Chorus > Delay > Amplifier.

Reliability : 10
Built out of sturdy, composite material. Very tough and heavy. Built to take the abuse of a music store demo unit that would be stomped on by hundreds of customers.

I?ve used this pedal setup for gigging and I?ve found it to be very reliable. The one drawback is that because it was designed as a Demo unit for music stores, it wasn?t designed with road use in mind. The cardboard crate that it comes in has styrofoam inserts that make for a good travel package. Eventually I?d like to build a road-worthy gigging case for the pedal setup, as the cardboard crate can?t last forever, but I haven?t gotten around to it yet.

This is a really cool product. It has a bunch of great sounding pedals on it, its sturdily built, and looks great. Highly recommended if you can find a dealer who will sell one to you.
