Danelectro Spring King

the easiest pedal to use ever - problem is that it's use is to completely ruin your sound

i've used lots of reverbs - never in my life could i've dreamt (or nightmared) a reverb sounding as horrible as this one - unimaginable!

im shure none of them will ever break - no one will use it for more that 5 minutes before crying that they went to work an earned money, just to buy a piece of **** like this

im shure they must be a club of people who want to make effects even though they were all born deaf

if i can't find someone stupid enough to pay me a little to get rid if this tone destroyer, ill gladly travel the earth to find an active volcano to throw it in - and make the world a better place

Oh yeah, it's easy to use.

So is the toilet.

Wanna make your guitar sound like its being played through a broken $50 pawn shop Sears amplifier with the worst reverb you've ever seen in your life?

Well then, this is the pedal for you.

Without question, one of the worst sounding reverbs I've ever tried-- THANK GOD I didn't buy it sight unseen online.

Hey, I have a GREAT Danelectro Reel Echo Peday-- sounds wonderful.
The quality and sound of the Spring King is in a different catagory altogether-- it is a toy.

It has one sound, with a bit of tone control-- that one sound is the sound of a REALLY BAD spring reverb. Might be good for novelty, or if you are somewhat trying to recreate the sound of an old spring reverb-- but not really- because I've had amps, like a Fender Twin and others-- and this sounds NOTHING like a good spring reverb.

Cheap, irritating, like a spring in a garbage can.

And the pad to recreate the sound of bashing your amp? hahahahahahhaha not even close. A total joke.

This is a sad excuse for spring reverb.

Depend on crappy sound every time you use it?

Yeah!!

Obviously not much concern for customers if they sell this kind of crap for $150.

Let's make sure nobody orders one of these.
