Gain, Tone, Level. Very easy to use. If you've ever used a distortion box before, it's the same layout.

Frankenstrat>TU2>RD1> Fender Blues Deluxe.
Not noisy at all, plus true bypass so no tone loss when not in use.
This is one of those cases where you don't have to pay a lot of money for something awesome. I've owned pedals that were 4-5 times more expensive than this one that didn't sound as good
I don't know if it's just the combination of this pedal and my Blues Deluxe but I get some VERY Marshally tones out of this.
If you're looking for a solid classic rock distortion, try this pedal out

I play at Church and help with our youth worship team, also classic rock, blues and country. This pedal IS rock.
Playing for 10 years, I've owned so much good gear. right now all I have is my strat, blues deluxe and RD1
If this were stolen I would bye another in a heartbeat.
My favorite spot on this thing is gain 3oc, tone 12oc, level 3oc
If you go to GC and try these out, make sure you run it in front of a decent amp, not the crappy practice amp they have all the pedals hooked up to.
I'm so impressed with this pedal that this is the first review I've ever written.
