It's fairly easy to get a sound that works for you're individual preference under most circumstances.

I'll keep it short. Most of the amps I've used it with sound good with the pedal in front, but my Z Prescription ES, 65, and a couple others didn't take it well. It came across a little "fizzy" as some musicians so eloquently put it. It seems that the really clear, bell like, chimey, voxy, boutiquey (are there any other cliches) amps don't agree as well with the FOD. By no means is this a bad sounding pedal, but I am particular when it comes to $300 pedals. If you've got a good Fender, you'll like it even more with this.

I really like it, but it doesn't work with my current setup. That said, it worked perfectly with my previous setup. Just try it through your rig before you slap the cash down.
