Ease of Use

the only way this pedal could be easier to use is if someone else did it for you... BUT... for all you DIYers out there, the control format consist of a nice sturdy footswitch and a single chickenhead knob controlling the level/output... only a complete idiot could get baffled using this pedal...

awesome sounds... simple and brilliant... i've been playing with this pedal for about three days now and WOW!!! it overdrives my old plexi beautifully with a note-for-note clarity you just can't get with any old fuzz pedal or ts mod... singing sustain... it can get a REALLY NICE chunky crunch without over-saturating, too... i'd hold in the same stable with something like the Cusack screamer pedal... i play through Seymour Duncan '59s & Alnico IIs for most, but i've been way into what it can do with my newer, crappy sounding 60s mexi-fender reissue with those horrifically thin sounding noisy factory single coils... i was considering selling the damn thing, but after play it through this pedal i find i'm reinvested in that guitar again... it sounds fantastic is what i'm getting at, here!!!

one of the first things i do when i get a new pedal is look at it's innards... the housing is tough as nails and the footswitch is high quality... this pedal is 100% point-to-point using excellent, high grade components and the trim pot is set up for easy access(although i think it's set perfect "out-of-the-box")and the transistor is housed in a transistor socket as opposed to being inconveniently "sewn in" to the rest of the line... so, "tweakers choice"... tough box and P2P construction = a dependable stompbox to me!!!

haven't needed it(knock-on-wood)... but, dennis seemed like a very nice and easy-to-deal-with fella during our brief correspondence...

sounds better than pedals at twice the cost... like i stated before, the only pedal similar in awesomeness is the Cusack Screamer... and THAT pedal cost $150- new... so, buy this pedal and enjoy... also, i see other people stating the types of music they involve themselves in... i play in a more progressive kraut-rock/metal vein, i guess... a bit more on the prog-side with alot of hot gypsies thrown in for the experimental things...
