Ease of Use : 10
Simple to use- Plug and PLay
The size of this unit is also excellent- much smaller than some of the other products on the market- which saves premuim pedalboard space.
Additionally this unit can supply a huge amount of current (3Amps) much more than many others which means if you are running some of the higher current pedals you don't run out of available current.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
Excellent- very quiet power supply
I use it to Power the following:
Lehle D-Loop
Boss Ge-7
Dunlop Crybaby
Custom Loop Switcher
Boss TU2 Tuner

Reliability : 10
Been gigging it for about a month (12 gigs) had no problems

Customer Support : 10
James is a great guy to deal with . Happy to explain the product and it's capabilities within the confines of how you are using it including hard wiring it to a pedalboard. He is hugely knowledgeable about the effects on the market and gave great advice

Overall Rating : 10
Would deffinately recommend this unit

This is an update to my previous review.

I've had my Diago power supply for quite a while now and my pedal board has grown in size since I bought it. So, I headed over to the Diago website to get another daisy chain cable. I was pleased to discover that they now stock a 'deluxe' daisy chain cable with right-angled connectors (a definite bonus), and most importantly LONGER LEADS BETWEEN THE CONNECTORS (an essential improvement). Apparently, this improved daisy chain is now supplied as standard with new power supplies. I received the improved cable a few days ago and it essentially addresses the minor criticism I had of the version of the product I bought. Now there is plenty of slack between connectors to hook up all my pedals.

In other reviews here, several people on HC have mentioned the short interconnecting cable lengths of the originally supplied daisy chain. James at Diago has clearly listened to customer feedback and addressed this minor niggle. Now it???s perfect. Nice one James.

Sound Quality : 10
I can't hear it, so its "sound quality" is perfect for me.

Reliability : 9
As I said in my previous review, seems sturdy enough.

Customer Support : 10
Customer support from James has been exceptional. He is a friendly guy who responds to e-mails quickly.

Overall Rating : 10
This power supply is excellent and, now that James has addressed the minor niggle of cable length on the daisy chain, it's a total no-brainer in my book. If you need a new quality power supply for your pedals and, like me, you think that the cost of specialist power supplies from certain other well-known manufacturers is taking the p1$$ then check this out.

Ease of Use : 9
Easy peasy - it's a power supply! Cable lengths between connectors on the daisy chain could be longer, but this is a minor criticism. overall, a great product.

Sound Quality : 10
Excellent. All my pedals powered with not a hint of hiss or hum - perfect.

Reliability : 9
Can't really say as it's being used in a studio environment and doesn't have to live a life on the road. Seems sturdy enough though.

Customer Support : 10
They replied to my technical e-mails quickly and were very helpful, not dismissive like a lot of customer support from companies selling only on-line.

Overall Rating : 10
I can't really fault the product or the service and I would definitely replace the unit with the same if it got stolen.

Ease of Use : 10
No effort whatsoever. Small and light, takes up hardly any space on pedal board.

Sound Quality : 10
Only improves the sound by powering all my effects completely hassle and noise-free.

Reliability : 10
Had it only a few weeks but, considering the level of customer service from Diago, I would expect nothing less than 100% support in event of a problem.

Customer Support : 10
Very helpful, very friendly - a pleasure to purchase from a small company like this who are actually interested in supplying the right product to meet the customer's needs.

Overall Rating : 10
Using Marshall, C Martin, Tech21,J Dunlop and Boss pedals - powers them all perfectly. As advised ( but I didn't get one in the end), it will power Line6 stompboxes too.

Ease of Use : 10
This product is ridiculously easy to use, just wack in the AC adapter (which is more than long enough to connect safely to a power supply) into the little box, and connect the daisy chains to the box and straight to the pedals. Simple, efficient and most importantly (for a clumsy footed guitarist like me) safely.

Sound Quality : 10
Before buying my Diago setup I was using a board with a wall-wart style brick attached, and it caused no end of trouble with a Morley Wah Pedal, which irritates, especially with such levels of distortion... The Diago fixed it all. All my pedals are powered properly, there's no hum (or at least none from the power... you can't lose the hum from your guitars or your amps!), and it really improves on the wallwart!

Current Setup:
Gibson SG Special
Danelectro FAB Metal (for fuzz)
Danelectro Blue Paisley (boost)
Ibanez PH7 Phaser
Morley Power Wah
Digitech Whammy Wh-4 (connected to seperate adaptor - not compatible with Diago probably due to the AC and the excuricating 1.3A it sucks out of the plug, although the Diago can take 3A)

Reliability : 10
I've got it velcroed to my Diago Tourman board and it hasn't broken, it hasn't cut out, and it works! Whether it's recording, gigging or rehearsing it's a breeze, and theres no need to carry a backup!

Customer Support : No Opinion
A breeze to order, came ridiculously fast, easy to set-up, I'm sure if I ever had to contact them they'd be easy to deal with, but I haven't needed to, so can't really comment.

Overall Rating : 10
I'm a bit of an effects junkie, and to have a product that says I can power up to 30 pedals (!!!) is a dangerous time bomb on my wallet... but sure enough, it's a kickass piece of kit, which shouldn't be ignored or sidestepped. If you like your gear to work and sound pristine, and to cut down on the wallwarts so you've got more space for pedals (and lets face it, who doesn't) then go for it.

Very easy to use - plug the daisy chain into the output from the Powerstation, then plug into each of your pedals, via any adapters needed for pedals which don't use the boss-type power scheme - Diago can supply a variety of adapters which cover pretty much all the variations, for a few quid each. Connect the powerstation to the mains. Job done. If you have more than 5 pedals, or some larger pedals, you'll want to get extra daisy chains.

Sound Quality : 10
The sound quality of your effects chain can be seriously degraded if the power supply is noisy, or can't supply enough juice in a stable fashion.

There are no such problems with the Powerstation. It can supply 3,000mA, and power up to 30 pedals (if you buy enough additional daisy chains). I could not detect any noise over and above what you'd get when using batteries.

In fact, the Wah/Volume (which requires 18v on a 3.5mm pin, hence I got the voltage doubler and blue adapters from Diago too) sounded noticeably better than when I was using a multi-voltage/multi-adapter job.

The Powerstation appears to be very well shielded. To test it, I had it, the pedals, and the amp set up very close together, and there was no extra noise at all, even at high volume.

My set-up is currently Fender 70s Reissue Strat (Ash/Rosewood) with Seymour Duncan Lil'59s > Morley Slimline Wah Volume > MXR Auto-Q > Blues Driver with Keeley Phat Mod > Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe > Session SG-75 MkII 2x10 combo w/Celestions.

Reliability : 9
The Powerstation is very solid in construction, and all the connectors fit snugly together. If anything, the voltage doubler adapter seems to be a slightly looser fit onto the daisy chain than the other connections, but once in place on a pedal board there are no problems. It comes with a strip of adhesive velcro to fix it to the board.

With the pedals there is always the backup situation of using batteries.

The ultimate backup is of course to plug directly into the amp ! You *can* play without the effects, right ?

Customer Support : 9
James at Diago is a very friendly, efficient chap. I wasn't sure if the powerstation would power my Morley, so I emailed him, and got a really helpful response. I get the impression that any problems would be dealt with quickly with a minimum of fuss.

Overall Rating : 9
I play mainly blues and hard rock. I've been playing for over 20 years, and I've owned many guitars, amps, effects units and power supplies. This is a good unit. If it went missing, I would not hesitate to get another one.

What I love most about the Powerstation is that it is a very good power supply in such a small unit - it takes up next to no room on the pedal board.

Until I found the Powerstation, I was beginning to think I would never find a reasonably-priced power supply that would power the Morley.

The Diago Powerstation comes highly recommended !

Ease of Use : 10
Very simple to use. The Diago website has an extensive list of fx pedals that can be run of this with details about colour coded adaptors that may be necessary for certain units. Very useful!

Sound Quality : 10
I use single coils through A LOT of fx and this is definately the best psu I've come across after 15 years of playing. Generates no audible noise, and so far everything works great of it including my Line 6 stomp box modelers.

Reliability : No Opinion
Is very compact and quite sturdy. I don't anticipate any problems with this unit.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Very quick delivery for this item. I haven't had any problems so there's been no reason for additional customer support. There's a 28 day money back guarantee and a 12 month warranty period for defects, which is nice to know.

Overall Rating : 10
This is a great, compact, noise free psu. It seems to be one of the most versatile on the market with the capability of powering up to 30 fx units! The price is very reasonable compared to other similar power supplies. It has sorted out my spaghetti junction problem and really made setting up hassle free. I'd definately get another if this was lost or stolen.

Very easy to use - you just connect the daisy chain to your pedals and the power cord to the mains supply - couldn't be simpler!

Sound Quality : 9
It says on the Diago website that it's hum free, it says in all the other reviews here that it's hum free, and guess what? - it really is as quiet as they say. I've been used to loads of long cables to keep power supplies as far away from my pedal board as possible - this just makes everything so much easier.

Reliability : No Opinion
Only used it for rehearsals so far and haven't had any problems.

Customer Support : 10
Great communication with the company via email. Quick response to questions and ordering. Fast delivery - items arrived 2 days after ordering (I did place the order late in the afternoon). Nice follow up email to check everything was OK - gives you back a bit of faith that someone believes in good customer service.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing in bands for about 15 years now and have always built my own pedal boards with standard power supplies. Buying the Diago power station along with one of their showman pedal boards has finally given the professional looking (and sounding) set up i've always needed/wanted. It just makes set up so easy and quick now - lift off the lid, plug in guitar, plug in amp, plug in power - ready to ROCK!!

Very small, light, 2m cable. Website helpfully includes an extensive compatibility chart

Sound Quality : 10
There seems to be no mum or problems with my set up - single coils, with variety of effects from different manufacturers: Electro-Harmonix, Boss, Pro-co, Ibanez

Reliability : 9
Gigged once so far - seemingly nothing to go wrong. Plug in and play

Customer Support : 10
James is a star. Extremely helpful in discussing an adapter for an E-H pedal. Followed up with an email to check all was OK

Overall Rating : 10
I don't think there's a better product out there for the money. Small, quiet - does the job

As simple as you'd expect a power supply to be. Plug in and go.

Sound Quality : 10
No noticeable artifacts in the sound (even through five pedals of various types), and I would consider myself to be pretty discerning in this regard.

Reliability : 9
Haven't gigged it yet, but it seems to be one of the better-built power supplies available. Sensibly, it works off of a kettle lead, so you can just unplug your board and go. Time will tell, but I have no concerns.

Customer Support : 9
Haven't had to go back, but presales support was v.good and James checked to make sure it arrived on time. Like Reverend Guitars, etc, seems interested in his clients and genuinely concerned for their satisfaction.

Overall Rating : 9
Generally use a clean tone with a crybaby, envelope filter, couple of overdrives, Chorus in the way. Use single coils, so don't appreciate anything that adds noise. This seems to fit the bill and is solidly built to boot.

This seems to fit in it's own niche. Outside of this you either get a Boss PSA at half the price and a quarter of the robustness, or one of the very expensive US power supplies like the DC Brick. I'm sure the latter is a great bit of kit, but with this, you don't really need it. Oh, and it's supplied with a bit of velcro for your board. Nice touch.
