Very simple to use. 3 bits to plug together, plug it in and then chain up your pedals. The little LED is a nice touch to let you know that it is working, and could be useful in trouble shooting power problems, should they ever arise.
It is currently powering my pedalboard, and with a quick comparison to battery power, I did not notice any change in noise levels, which is a very good start. Admittedly, I do not own any pedals that have a reputation for playing up when daisy chained, but I am unable to fault it so far.
Has pretty good compatibility when additional adaptors are bought. The only glaring holes are 12V and 24V adaptors, which does cause a point to be dropped. Otherwise, very easy to use and very few cases where you will need to make separate power arrangements.

I am running a custom shopped 5 string Warwick Corvette through a Warwick Sweet 15.1 amp. The powerstation is powering a Barge Concepts VBF-2, a Fulltone Bass Drive, a Boss ODB-3 and an Ibanez Weeping Demon. In addition, it has also powered some pedals I have borrowed off friends.
As said before, it doesn't seem to introduce any notice at all into the signal. The effects all have plenty of power, so it is impossible to fault it.

I have owned it for over a year now, and it has yet to fail me. I barely even turn it off, and yet it still is only ever so slightly warm.
I would gig without backup, but then again, I have a "panic button" to bypass all my effects in case of power failure. While you could trust it not to fail, if the gig is important, you would be a fool not to have a backup of everything.

I've contacted James several times, and his relies were always quick and very helpful. I have not yet had to deal with any returns (see reliability) so I cannot give a perfect score. However, if it is anything like his response to questions about the product, it would score a 10.

It's a solid power supply. Plain and simple. It has masses of power on tap, great compatibility (other than the previously mentioned 12V and 24V) and introduced no noise. It is also far cheaper than many other power supplies. The ability to buy additional daisy chains is very useful, as it keeps the setup as compact as you need it to be, while having massive potential.
It also has a very nice small size, which means it takes up very little space on the top of a pedalboard, and can be held to the underside of a pedalboard that has a bit of clearance.
It can't get a perfect 10, as it isn't perfect. However, unless you have a fetish for the 24V EHX pedals, this is a very good power supply for a solid price.

I bought the Diago Powerstation to power my pedalboard in as simple a way as possible, wanting to avoid the clutter of tangled power cables and over-loaded sockets. The Diago delivers all of this in a simple, easy to use package which took me only a few minutes to set up. Now my board of eight pedals requires only two power outlets, my entire rig taking up only three sockets in all (Diago, Whammy and Amp). Very simple, very easy to use.

I use the power station to power my Korg Pitchblack Tuner, Zvex Fuzz Factory, EHX Micro Q-Tron, Cry Baby wah, Boss CE2, Boss BF2 and Line 6 DL4, which is all but one of my pedals (my Digitech Whammy pedal requiring it's own seperate power supply). All of my pedals function correctly off the power station, with no noise or degredation of sound quality.

I've been gigging a lot with my power station and it's seen a lot of abuse (being jumped on, drinks spilt near it, use over excessively long periods). I've not once had a problem with it and don't expect I ever will. Very reliable.

Whenever I've had a technical question for Diago they've been available to take my phone call straight away, in most cases speaking to James Kitchen (Diago's managing director) himself. He always gives informed and helpful advice and in my experience can help with all of your technical enquiries without problems. As customer support goes, it doesn't get any better.

When faced with the problem of buying a power supply for all of your pedalboard there are a few competitors on the market (namely power supplies from Voodoo Labs and Dunlop's DC Brick), however none of them measure up to the Diago, and at such a reasonable price too. I have been using my power station for 2 years now and never had a problem with it. Although it's inconvenient that it can't power my Digitech Whammy with it (which requires it's own seperate 9v AC adapter)*, for half the price of it's rivals, you cannot beat the Diago for ease of use, reliability and noiseless operation. Thoroughly recommended.
* I've recently spoken to James at Diago about powering the Digitech Whammy, him telling me that they will soon try to develop an adpater for the power station for it.

No switches, no movable parts, just plug and play. Simples. Has a bright green LED to let you it's on. The adapters for rarer pedals simply clip into the daisy chain. There are very few pedals that can't be used with this successfully.

I was previously powering my odd assortment of pedals through a wall wart and breaking a daisy chain off my BOSS TU2. This was a rather noisy affair especially with gain/distortion pedals. I did a bit of digging and after seeing something similar in the US stumbled on to Diago.
It immediately fixed all the earth hum hiss I was suffering from. Used with decent patch cables it's practically silent (my Big Muff is dead silent when palm muted now).
I have a hand full of Boss pedals, Big Muff, Akai Headrush, Digitech Bass synth all running off this tiny little box and I plan to add more in time.

I have had my Diago Powerstation for over a year now and it's never left my pedal board. It's neat, it is smaller than the average fag packet and sits snuggly at the back not interfering with other cabling. This is so much less hassle and a complete joy to do away with lugging aroung a 4 gang and multiple wall warts! From what I have read of others reviews before purchasing mine, I don't expect anything to go wrong with it but would buy another in a flash if anything was to happen to it.
The only thing to keep in mind is to cover any spare plugs on the daisy chain. If they catch on something metal it will short the unit and you'll just get a clicking noise and a flashing LED till you figure it out. Just an excuse to buy more pedals really.

My order came fast and was supplied with the right adapters to get my EH and 9V battery pedals going. I've never had any qualms and have literally been able to forget about my power and hum issues thanks to Diago. Their website has loads of detailed information including a list of all the compatible pedals and their required adapters. I feel comfortable in that if I were to have any issues it would be easy to contact Diago and get support. This is made clear by their excellent website.

I am really happy with my Diago Powerstation, I don't have to think about POWER anymore and feel quite comfortable adding more pedals to my setup.
It's attractive in that it is minute, it takes up such little space you'd wonder why you'd want a DC brick let alone a ton of chunky transformers. Oh, and no more batteries too!
My only qualm perhaps was with the price. At the time of purchasing it seemed quite expensive but given that I don't expect it to die on me anytime soon and as Diago is a essentially a cottage industry I am more than happy to have paid 70 odd quid for my unit plus adapters. I can't stress what a good investment this little box is.
It was also much more satisfying buying direct from Diago (great service) than paying through the nose at a guitar store (poor sneering service) for a cheaply made often more expensive alternative.

Well, a total no brainer really.....in at the mains, then connect the daisy chain to your pedals. Easy! I use a large flightcased board mostly, which includes the VL's PP2, but I needed a much smaller 'board for fly dates and smaller gigs, so much research ensued, and after not much deliberation, I thought that the Pedalpower was perfect for my needs. It's very light and does the job as needed. Perfect.

Well, it's not detracting with any hum, so that's all I need to worry about. It provides the right current to my pedals so they're getting the correct supply....no noticable sound difference. hopefully this will continue throughout my time swapping pedals in and out for different sessions.

Very simple, plug in to the wall, plug your daisy chain in, hook it all up and you're good to go. Couldn't really be any simpler than that, doesn't need instructions!!! I used to use batteries, and some of my Digitech pedals used to EAT batteries, not no more!

I've still got batteries in my pedals, just incase, and cause I cant be bothered to remove the old ones, but yeah i'd gladly depend on it. Although I am a little wary, but I always am, I wouldn't wanna stand on it. It's more likely that the pedal would stop working I think than the power supply.

Overall, I can't really think of a better power supply for my needs. I wouldn't trust a small power supply like a OneSpot, just cause they look too fragile and perhaps wouldn't pump out enough power. But I can count on my powerstation. It's nice and neat and small, I got it for a good price and it seems there are loads of other great, quality accessories for all your pedals aswell. So I may need one for a Big Muff I'm eyeing, and Diago is who I will go to. I could probably break it if I tried, I wouldn't say it's bomb proof like a Boss pedal, but it would stand up to any normal punishment going it's way. I suppose that's why it's small though, to keep out the way!

I don't gig (only bedroom use) but use it to power:
Jim Dunlop Crybaby
Digitech Bad Monkey
ProCo Rat II

Crowther Audio Hotcake
Boss DD3
Although i mostly play at low to moderate volume levels, there is no noticable difference between powering my pedals on batteries or using this PSU.

As its only a PSU, its nothing to get too excited about however this is exactly what i have been looking for to power my pedals instead of using batteries.
Was considering buying the voodoo labs pedal power plus which was much more expensive, however i'm glad i went for the cheaper (diago) option. As far as i can tell i would not have gained anything more by spending ??160+ on a more expensive PSU.
Overall i'm extremely happy with my purchase - it does exactly what i need it to do. So good in fact that i don't even notice its there, which is what you want from a PSU.

This a digital switching power supply. It will provide 3000ma of power to any amount of 9v DC pedals.
It is a no brainer - works the same as any single ended power supply, with a daisy chain cable going to 5 Boss style plugs.
I like the fact that this has 240v cable which is detachable from the transformer unit. This makes packing it up easier. It will accept pretty much any worldwide voltage and change it to 9v DC.
It claims to be silent in operation, which I have found to be true (exceptions noted below).
Sound Quality
:

I power 4 home built Tonepad pedals - a TS9/808, a Ross compressor, a Boss CE-2 chorus, and an MXR phase 90 pedal.
Each of these pedals is either a gain pedal or a modulation pedal. If there were any added noise by the power supply, I'd hear it using one of these. I also run my guitar through a Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Classic on its own power supply (16DC), which would again accentuate any hum or added noise in the other pedals.
I'd like to say now that I don't get any unwanted noise from the Diago Powerstation - at all.
The exception is when I try to run a Line 6 Echo park on a 9volt chain with other pedals. There is a ton of noise which makes the pedal unusable. This is a design fault of the Echo park which requires it to run on its own isolated power supply. This is not the fault of the Powerstation. If you run a few of these 9v Line6 pedals, you'd need either an expensive isolated power supply like the Voodoo labs pedal power 2, with several outputs, or you'd have loads of individual 'wall warts' - I'd say that this is a design oversight by Line6 I'm afraid. Diago do state on their website that these pedals will do this.
I will stress again though that this adds no noise to any properly designed pedal.
Reliability
:

There are no moving parts, I don't expect this to blow up any time soon. It is certainly more reliable than having loads of individual power supplies, and definitely better designed than a standard 'wall wart' type power supply.

It's a power supply. With a lot of amps. So it can handle a lot of pedals, via daisy-chain plugs. Very straightforward.
Sound Quality

Here's the rub.
If you use a lot of pedals, including for gain, and run your amp clean, no problem, it's very quiet.
If like me you use a high gain amp, and use pedals just for colour, beware. Pedals in front of the amp can lead to a very annoying hum, which gets worse with volume and gain.
I couldn't bear it after a while.
Shame, but if batteries are silent, you want a power supply that does the same.

Well, it's compact, and simple to use. If it weren't for the hum I'd be happy.

As a power supply this is very easy to use. Just plug in and go! It's not too big so it fits nicely on the corner of my pedalboard. Just attach your daisy chains (it can power more than 20 pedals!!!) and the appropriate converters for those pesky pedals which don't use the standard boss negative tip power adapters, which can too be bought from Diago for a reasonable price and get down to making sweet pedal fuelled music, without any worry of your batteries running out ever again. If you plan to travel, just contact Diago and buy an appropriate power adaptor, it can be used anywhere in the world! I power 9 pedals (some quite power demanding) and I have had no troubles with it at all. At 3000ma neither should you!
Sound Quality
:

Absolutely fantastic. No hum, no annoying noise, just 100% pure clean power. No issues with old or new pedals alike. This happily powers my entire pedalboard and retains my pure, clean signal without degrading it as some cheaper wallwarts may.
Reliability
:
8
From experience, it is very reliable. My only concern, that fundamentally as a daisy chain, the power outlets are not isolated, which could mean that ALL your pedals could lose power, not just one or two in comparison with a brick style power supply malfunctioning, such as the Gator G-Bus. Even so I have no worries about this power supply and I have total confidence in it. I'm sure my pedals would break long before this thing stopped pumping out juice.

James is fantastic, very pleasent and easy to deal with and he really will do whatever he can to make your transaction as easy and pain free as possible. Overall I would say this is a fantastic powersupply that will suit the needs of the minimalistic through to virtuoso gearheads, sporting a stupid number of pedals. Say goodbye to batteries forever! It's simple, clean, reliable and perhaps most importantly it's comparitively cheap. It doesn't hog space on your pedalboard or break your back with a stupid weight, it's small effective and seems to be fast becoming the number one choice of power for players in the UK.

What is there to say - it's a power supply. You plug it into your effects, and they work. It can manage a lot of effects with multiple daisy chains, and deliver a substantial amount of current.
It can handle most variations of power socket, and polarities, that different manufacturers of effects come up with, although you may have to purchase extra bits to do this. And it's quite small.
Sound Quality
:

Here lies the problem. I suspect that most customers use a clean amp, and get the bulk of their sound, drive etc, from pedals.
I use a 2 channel amp, get my drive from that, and colour it with the pedals. For clean and crunch sounds, no problem. But for high gain sounds, there is a hum. Again, not a problem for effects in the loop, but can be a bit noisy if you put a pedal or two in front of the amp, and try and do both and it howls. Presumably some sort of ground loop.
So for pedalheads, go for it. For those who love the gain only a valve amp can give, just bear this in mind.
I have a pal who uses a Marshall DSL and he loves his powerstation, but he only uses the clean channel.

This is the good bit. Contacted the designer, who after a chat did his best to solve the problem (although it did take 2 months), culminating in me receiving a prototype for a new design.
Still didn't solve the problem, so I now use both old and new, one for in-front FX and one for loop.
A hassle (2 plugs), but cheaper than blowing ??140+ on a Voodoo Labs or a BBE.

Been playing for over 25 years, pop, rock, blues, metal, country - whatever.
Recently moved from modellers to a valve amp, and the difference in tone is unbelievable. So trying to keep effects to a minimum, but thought a power supply would be less bother than batteries. But batteries are silent, and that's what you want from a power supply. Got this on recommendation, but hasn't lived up to expectations. Now got a workable solution, but still a compromise. This is probably better than you average daisy chain wall wart, but for my purposes still not exactly what I want.
Will keep for now, and see what happens.

I have been playing for more than 10 years, and using effects for at least 5, I previously used a DC Power Brick and that kept tripping out and letting me down. I would replace this immediately if lost or stolen. Its small size is great and it is an unobtrusive addition to any pedal board. Just plug in and go. Its small size means it takes up very little room on your pedal board, and the various adaptors available make it especially easy to use with pedals requiring different voltages etc. I can therefore run my Full-tone MOSFET Drive 2 on 18 volts without having to use a separate power supply, which is a real bonus. Although so far I've had no cause to use it outside of the UK, it's very useful to know that you can plug it into any mains voltage.

Most of the time i play a Les Paul Classic with a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifer through a 1960 Marshall 4x12. The effects i use are, Morley Wah, MXR phase 90, Boss TR-2 Tremelo, Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi, Boss DD-20 Giga Delay and Boss CE-20 Chorus Ensemble.
The combination of these effects caused a buzz wehn in a direct line to the main input of the amp, and through trial and error it pin pointed the problem with the chorus and big muff pedals. I now have the chorus, delay & tremelo through the effects loop, and the rest into the main input on the amp. I'm not sure if this is a standard procedure, but it seams to have done the trick regarding the buzz.
All in all the Diago Powerstation has reduced the amount of space required and the cost of batteries which can mount up very quickly. So all in it has to be great value for money and i am very pleased with the purchase which i have now had for 18 months.

I have this powereing a Boss Tu-2, Boss LmB-3, Boss GEB-7, Boss Hm-2, Dunlop Bass Crybaby wah and a Samson Ap1B wireless reciever. I have used a red adaptor for the Samson AP1B as it has reverse polarity. All these pedals work fine with the powersation and i get no hum what so ever. I have read other reviews saying the same thing and it's true.

He has been extremley helpful and i'm sure if ever i need to contact him again, i won't need to worry.

Before this, i was using a Boss ACA adaptor which went into my Boss TU-2 and then a daisy chain. This boss daisy chain was too short which meant i could only power 5 effects. It was also limited to 200ma. This Powerstation now is excellent. The Deluxe daisy chain is perfect and is not too short. It can also power up to 3000ma which is great. I think this is well worth the money and if it was lost or stolen, i would definately buy a new one without hesitation.

Couldn't be simpler. Plug in the supplied daisy chain cable, connect your pedals, plug in the supplied vey long mains lead and you're good to go. Given the 3A output capacity of the Powerstation it is remarkably small and takes up very little room on a pedalboard.

The only thing you have to consider is the power needs of your pedals - a comprehensive list of manufacturers / pedals on the website lets you check if any of your pedals needs one of the special connectors. for example the Line6 DL-4 has slightly special needs, so you'd need the connector that handles that. The number of pedals that can't be handled is very small, typically its the high voltage e.g. 24v types

Have owned for over a year, in daily use in a static set-up; if you had a pedal board then that would also count as a static set-up. In short, its as reliable as a laptop power supply. Either works for ever or blows up the first time you plug it in.

This is the device i have been looking for since i have started using various pedals. It is COMPLETELY silent in operation, no humming through the amo like i did with my previous 9v adaptor. This device can also connect up to 30 pedals (in a daisy chain) i think, so basically as many pedals as you could ever want to use.
Before this pedal i was considering splashing out hundreds on one of those voodoo powerstations things. They are alot more expensive and can only connect about 5 or 6 pedals.
I urge you to buy this device without any hesitation! (it costs about ??55)
...and just for the record i'm using a Marshall TSL60 with 1960A cab and a gibson les paul electric guitar
I usually play high gain sounds although this power supply is also completely silent going through the clean channel

I use this with a horrendously large pedal board (around 30 pedals). The only pedal i dont use this supply with is a hand built valve pedal purely because it doesnt offer enough power but then not many things do. Everything else has run perfectly on it. And well as it says in the sggested comments i HAVe had this stolen and well now i want another one. Well worth the ??50 for those people using ac/dc power blocks and its still cheaper than many of the power blocks that supply this many pedals.
The only problem i would have with this power supply is that the space between power sockets on the extension cable could be a little larger for non boss style pedals without the power at the top. Having said that i believe diago now have an extension with longer breaks for this reason. Also an on/off switch wouldnt go amis but i dont have a huge problem not having one.

Seems solid enough. The daisy chain cable looks good quality etc. I've only had it a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on long term use/abuse. I do try to take care of my gear though, plus I've just built a board for my pedals. The daisy chain cables go through little slits in the carpet and through a long channel near the back edge of the board, everything is held in place neatly, which should avoid any idiots from accidentally treading on it and such.

Well, I've recently just dumped my old multi-effects, and put together a decent simple pedalboard from some effects I owned, and a couple of new ones. I did a lot of research into powering it all, plus any future additions, and I'm very pleased I settled on Diago. Some of the 'bricks' out there are very expensive and don???t seem to power that much anyway, and I just don't trust some of the cheaper ones. This diago will power about 30 pedals I believe, and has also solved a big problem I had with a much loved pedal of mine. If anything was to happen to the Powerstation I wouldn't replace it with anything else.
Ditching multi-effects is the best thing I've done in ages, my setup now has a much more natural tone to it, and doesn't sound like processed junk. I am enjoying playing my guitars more than ever (been playing 24 years). Big thumbs up here!
Current setup:
Guitars - USA Tele, USA 40th anniversary Strat, an acoustic (somewhere)
Amp - Fender Stage 112SE
Effects - Boss CS3, Arion EQ, Digitech Bad Monkey
(in effects loop)- Ibanez FL301DX, Fretware Vintage Tremolo, Boss DD-6

I've emailed a few times since I bought the powerstation to enquire about powering certain non-standard pedals (mostly T-Rex ones) and not only has James explained things clearly, he's also gone the extra mile to suggest how I could wire by existing pedals in a better way to reduce noise and ground hums etc...Really first class service, couldn't be improved as far as I'm concerned.

I can't think of a single reason not to give this unit a 10 in every category. Firstly, it's tiny, so it takes up very little real-estate on your pedalboard. Secondly, it's very powerful and can power pretty much anything you can throw at it. Thirdly, it's exceptionally quiet. Fourthly, Diago makes adapters for seemingly every type of pedal you can imagine. Additionally, the customer service is world class. Finally, it's under half the price of the Dunlop power brick or the T-Rex Fuel Tank. A really excellent product all round - kudos to Diago.

As it's a power supply, sound quality here is measured in terms of how little noise it makes, whether there is any appreciable effect on bandwidth, etc. In this instance it performs well, as it's dead quiet. It's powering 8 pedals at the moment effortlessly. The only thing, it makes the LED on my DM-2 light up in a slightly dull kind of a way. I've tried different adaptors and the only thing that makes that glow properly is the original BOSS ACA-240 I have, so I may continue using that for just the DM-2. This isn't just the Diago, ANY daisy chained power supply seems to have this effect on the DM-2. I'm not certain of the reasons for this at the moment, as the ACA puts out 9v and the DM-2 was made after BOSS dispensed with the internal resitor/diode pair to step down voltage to 9v from what were the original 12v ACA's. Maybe it just has a fetish for unregulated power, or perhaps it just doesn't like sharing.

Here's the thing. This power supply is really just a universal input ITE style switching power supply, produced by a manufacturing partner in China, of the type used to power laptops and such, except it's been spec-ed out to run guitar pedals instead (9v DC output, 2.1m barrel socket, fancy looking "Diago" label). From my experiences with switching power supplies, I think they're pretty reliable on the whole. This feels very well made and bears more certifications on the back than you can shake a stick at. In any case. it's too early for me to offer a meaningful opinion. It gets warm, but don't they all?

Bearing in mind how cheap very similar (but inappropriately specified) power supplies are, it's not particularly great value for money. It does work, however and I'll take this any day over the horrendously expensive and bulky Voodoo Lab product.

Very easy to use, Velcro the small unit to your pedalboard, plug in the power lead at one end and daisy chain at the other and connect your pedals. That's it. There are detailed instructions on the website (www.diago.co.uk) or you can give them a ring. Two issues with the daisy chain supplied: the lengths between the 5 barrel plugs on each chain are quite short (difficult to get it round a big pedal like a Morley volume) and the plugs could do with being right-angled. Saying that, you can buy right-angled barrel plug adaptors from Diago as an extra; it???s just a shame to have the added expense.
Sound Quality

It seems to do what it is meant to in terms of sound quality - the unit powers multiple pedals without noise. I wasted money initially putting together my own supply with shop-bought daisy chains and an own-brand regulated adaptor. That was crackly, hummed and cost me twenty quid which would have been better spent on the Diago unit. As far as I can tell the Diago is giving me noise free operation. Current set up: Boss TU2 tuner, Morley Volume, Pro-Co Rat, EHX Small Stone, EHX Small Clone, Boss TR2 Tremolo, Marshall Reflector Reverb, Marshall Echohead delay. I play in an acoustic band so run a bass, electro-acoustic and mandola alternately through the same pedalboard. I have repeatedly gigged and practised with the Powerstation and not had any problems. Saying that, all the above pedals were quiet in operation anyway, it was power hum/crackles that were the problem so it???s good they have gone.

I have owned the Powerstation for two months now and have gigged it weekly with no problems. The only problem I have had was during initial set-up when it didn't work - that was because I had the last two unused barrel plugs on the daisy chain touching each other. It tells you in the instructions to tape them up to avoid shorts like that, it also tells you on the website AND James Kitchen (proprietor) told me that to my face when I bought the unit at a guitar show. Despite this proving my stupidity, once I got past this issue I still haven???t managed to break the unit -which warrants a high reliability score!

I have had no problems, so I have not needed to use customer support. It is worth mentioning that James Kitchen did take time to talk me through the adaptors I would need for my pedals when I purchased the Powerstation during a very busy Gateshead guitar show.

I recommend the Diago Powerstation. It may seem like a hefty expense for what is basically a power plug BUT it does the job quietly and without fuss so is worth the expenditure. Before I had it I was constantly fiddling with batteries, adaptors and swapping pedals about to try and deal with hums and crackles. The outlay is worth it just so you can set up and forget about power until you max out the unit 30 pedals later.

This thing claims to be hum/noise free but i'm afraid this is NOT the case! The powerstation is just as noisy if not more than my old Power Bank which costs ??20! After all the reviews and claims I decided to take a chance and buy one, well I can definately say with 100% confidence that these things DO infact add a loud very noticable hum to your signal.
I use Boss pedals and have tested the cables, guitars, pedals and everything and when I remove the power supply away and use batteries for power then the humming stops. It's only when I connect the powerstation that the humming appears.

For the price that this thing is selling for it's definately not worth the money, if you want power and can bare alot of hum then use a Power Bank or the cheapest thing you can find because this is just as useless as the cheap powersupplies, only more expensive!
I'm going to try a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 now, they are very expensive, but if it gets rid of the hum then it'll be worth it.
Ignore the other reviews here as they are either people from Diago or really dont know what theyre talking about!

i run 10 pedals on the chain including 2 tube screamers and a big muff which notoriously can put a buzz on your signal..

its great as its small and built to last, doesnt take up room on your board.
the daisy chain is fantastic as you can just keep the chain going.... allowing you to power minimal or maximum amount of effects...
for annoying pedal inputs such as ts808/elec HX they sell patch cables with the correct pins on the end which allow you to connect to the end of the daisy chain which makes things convienient and eliminates single power supplies for these pedals..
i have had a few other power supplies and this one is ay better in terms or size, power, convience and no buzz!!!!

This is a very easy to use power supply. Daisy chain your pedals and away you go. The great thing is this baby will power most pedals. If you go to diago website you will see a list of compatable pedals. Included in the list are the types of adaptors you would need to buy for certain pedals. For example a green adaptor for Line 6 Modelling stompboxes. A couple of my pedals did not appear on the list, so I emailed James at Diago and got a promt reply telling what adaptors I would need if any. What is really cool is that they do a right angled adaptor which has proved very useful for my morley wah and EVH phase 90. For some reason some manufactures place their power points on the side of the pedal.

It is hard to know if a power supply improves the sound of a chain of effects. However I do feel that my overall tone has improved. When I first powered up my pedals I was surprised at how good everything sounded. I suspect this is because my pedals are recieving proper power rather than a drained batt. One thing that has gone is some hum. I use a Line 6 DL4 with a dedicated power supply and was always bothered by low grade hum resulting in me having to turn up my noise gate significantly. Now that my effects cahin is powered by the powerstation this hum has gone. So overall I think things sound better but that may have been achieved by using new batts every time. Nevertheless I would have to say that things are sounding better.

Its hard to rate the reliability of a porduct that is relatively new. However it is backed by a money back promise if it doesn't power your pedals without noise. The connections seem sturdy and secure with a confidence inspiring tightness when joined. I can't imagine there is much can go wrong with a power supply. After a few gigs I choose to remove the batts form my pedals because it saved me removing the input jacks on my board all the time.

This is a seriously good company to deal with. I cannot fault them at all. They have responed to every email and phone call promtly. Gave excellent adivice when selecting items. A real first rate experience. When I was given my orginal quote James forgot to add 5 pounds onto the price for an extra daisy chain. He emailed me back giving me a code to take a fiver of the final price when I ordered on line. It only took 4 pounds off but when my order arrived there was a shiny 1 pound coin. I can't say much more than that.

I play in a christian worship band so use a lot of gentle tone mod effects. You know the pedals that need a batt changed almost every gig. My current set up is in the following order. route 66, morley wah, deathrattle, EVH phase 90 , Boss Trem, ME5 and finally Line6 DL4. Having this simple piece of kit along with a diago pedal board has made my life very easy. Overall this with the pedal board had been some of the best 150 pounds I have spent.

Picture the scene: guitarist desperately trawls the Internet in search of a compact, compatible and cost-effective power-supply for his home-made pedalboard. All in vain. The available options are either too large, too expensive, or not powerful enough - or a mixture of all three. I had previously used two Boss PSA-240s into a plugboard, which was okay. Not too pricey (20 quid each), but those units stand up very high, which is no good for my converted flight-case pedalboard, because the lid won't shut. I could power seven or eight pedals between these two Boss units, but I want a DD-20 double-delay now, which requires yet another PSA-240 all to itself - and yet another 20 quid. Plus, the 3-input multiplug takes up a lot of space and the whole thing is an untidy, inefficient lash-up.
So imagine my pleasure and relief to come across Diago's website and their extremely nifty Powerstation. Here is a relatively tiny power-supply which provides up to 3000ma of juice and costs only fifty quid. That's many times the available power of an AC/DC Powerbank , much smaller than a Dunlop Power-Brick (aptly named), and a third of the full retail price of the Voodoo Lab unit. And Diago are UK based! Sorry anyone reading this elsewhere in the world, but we get the thin end of the wedge in terms of price here on Treasure Island, and very often in after-sales, too.
My board is fairly simple:
Boss TU-2 tuner,
Ernie Ball Volume Jr (doesn't need power),
Boss CS-3 compressor,
Boss TR-2 tremolo,
Marshall Bluesbreaker II,
Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive,
MXR Smart Gate,
Boss DD-20.
I have weaned myself off the diluted, detuned and dated-sounding Chorus, thank God, but I occasionally use a Line Selector. So that's eight powered pedals and the rule of thumb is to have plenty of headroom - up to twice the available power than your pedal's combined draw. Mine's not a complicated signal-chain, but the Powerstation should deal with even a monster rig from the wildest imaginings of Cornish or Bradshaw.

Too early to judge. Seems very sturdy, hopefully nothing to go wrong, no moving parts. It is quiet, dead simple to use and compatible with any electrical voltage in the world without needing a transformer. I am a musician, not an engineer, so I'm not best
placed to judge. But if like me, you want to spend time and money shaping your actual guitar tone and not dicking around with the dingus that supplies the electricity, then this is your box.

Diago offer a full refund if the Powerstation causes any hum and you can't say fairer than that. Anything else is extra as far as I'm concerned. They responded helpfully to emails, and the Powerstation came prompt and postage-free.

The Powerstation deserves to become the industry standard. Diago have seized an obvious gap in the market and provided an almost- perfect solution to any guitarist's pedalboard needs. The unit is about the size of a cigarette packet, stands comfortably flatter than a standard Boss stomp-box and by itself will power the most elaborate rig. It does its job efficiently from a small corner of your pedalboard, and doesn't cost the earth. This rating should read 9.5. Nothing is perfect, but it is quite rare that any one piece of kit is SO much better than any of its rivals. I was resigned to forking over silly money for a Dunlop or Voodoo Lab rip-off box before my eyes were opened by a UK company, of all things, getting it right.

My pedalboard: EHX Double Muff -> VoodooLab Sparkle Drive -> JD Cry Baby 95q -> EHX Small Clone -> Korg DT-10 -> Amp (Line6).
When activating one of the pedals, I used to get serious ammounts of annoying "hummmmmm"

The whole process of powering my pedals with this little thing was a doddle from start to finish. 1) Order and Pay 2) Pick it up from post office 3) Put the cables into the power unit 4) plug it in to your pedals. This little thing was the ideal purchase for pedal power. I use standard pedals, nothing bespoke, and I was shelling out a lot on 9v batteries. Forget that - buy this. Admittedly if you have a more complicated setup, you may find it doesn't power everything you have, but then again, they provide a wide range of adaptors, so it might! I would definitely buy this agin if it got pinched. They could however make the (included) 5 way daisy chain connector a bit longer. but then, it's not hard to get another one! I looked at the Jim Dunlop D.C. rick and the voodoo labs pedal power and ended up with this at a fraction of the price. Admittedly, power supplies aren't that exciting, but this is probably as exciting as they get.

I have a Diago Powerstation and a Showman pedalboard, so I will review them both.
Simply velcro the tiny power supply down (with the included velcro), connect the power cable and plug the daisy chain into all your pedals! My only tiny complaint is that the daisy chain cables aren't quite long enough and the jacks of them are too long (angled jacks would be better), for example, it couldn't stretch past my Boss double pedal to my wah, but that's not a major issue.
As for the board, simple, the velcro works well and easily holds my Dunlop wah and Digitech Whammy (which incidently can't be powered by the Powerstation, the plug doesn't fit).

I am using the power supply and board with a Digitech Whammy, Dunlop 535Q Cry Baby wah, and Boss TU-2, NS-2, CH-1, PH-3, BF-3 and DD-6. They all fit on perfectly and are powered (except the Whammy) with no noise whatsoever.

I am thoroughly satisfied and can't wait to see what else the company come up with!

Very simple, the power supply comes in three parts. The main power pack, a power lead to plug in the the mains (which is very durable compared to some of the flimsy power supplys you can buy) and finally the daisy chain connectors to plug into your pedals.
The only drawback is positioning your pedals in such a way the the daisy chain can reach anything. Saying that I've not found it a problem and you can always buy more daisy chains.

Setup:-
Fender Stage 112SE Amp ---> Award-Session MB10 'Shadowlands version' ---> Boss TU-2 ---> Keeley modded Boss BD-2ph ---> Empress Tremolo ---> Boss DD-6 ---> Fender 72 Deluxe Telecaster/Rickenbacker 340.
My setup changes frequently though.
I've found it to be quiet as a church mouse and I found a noticeable difference from the noise I got from my last power supply (warwick board).

I've only just got a couple of days ago but its a sturdy unit and I'll never have to move it now it's in place.

This unit is unbeatable for the price and easily competes with higher priced supplys on the market. The space you can save on the board from its size can give you room for another pedal. I love the fact I can disconnect the power supply rather than have to fold it up and leave it in the board and its not an eyesore next to my other pedals.
All in all this little unit is a space saver, a money saver and a life saver. I wouldn't think of buying anything else.

Couldn't be simpler, just connect the Powerstation up with your pedals and away you go!
Its also very versatile; The daisy chains supply any 'Boss type' plug, plus you can buy additonal plug adapters for it which allow you to power any of the other various plug types. Including anything that runs on a 9V battery! I can power my Boss pedals, My Electro Harmonix pedals, my Line 6 Modellers (MM4, FM4) and EVEN my Vox Wah which doesn't even have a Power plug!

Very quick delivery, even when I only order a single daisy chain/plug adapter ...which I should probably stop doing!

The Powerstation is quite simply, a cheap and quality solution to all those pedal adapters and batteries. I did have a simlar styled power supply before this, but after it died a friend recommended that I should check out Diago. And why did I buy it? Well;
-It puts out 1,500mA. Work out the total draw of all your pedals and you'll soon realise that this powerstation can power LOADS of pedals!
-Despite the above point, its very small and very quiet.
-Not only does it power lots of pedals, but it can power just about every pedal going.
-Finally, its a lot cheaper than any of the other power supplies that I've come across.
Highly recommended.

I am using the powerstation with a Diago Tourman board. Pedals include:-
BBE opto Stomp, Morley Wah, Whammy;
These are powered on one supply with obviously the Whammy on its own AC Supply, These are fed into the front of a Peavey 5150 mk2 amp.
The following are hooked up into the amps effects loop and are all powered by the Diago powerstation.
Morley Little Alligator, Boss Ns2 noise gate, Boss tu2 Tuner, Boss Eq Ge7, Boss Super Chorus CH1, Boss Delay DD3, Boss Delay DD20, BBE Sonic Stomp.
All of the pedals are powered and sound great. No noise what so ever.

Well 10 out of 10 from me. There are alot of good power supplies out there on the market, but if your like me and use alot of pedals you need to make sure of three things;
1) The power supply has enough amp current to power all the pedals comfortable
2) The power supply is very quiet
3) The power supply is very light in weight

The unit is ultra small and finding space on your pedal board should be a piece of cake. Stick a bit of the (supplied) velcro on the bottom and place it accordingly to your needs. Simple case of plug in and connect your standard or pre ordered (red, yellow etc for line 6 and other) daisy chain ends to your pedals. Only gripe is length of chain (mentioned a lot i know) but if you special order some custom adaptors for yor setup, James will do it for you for a very reasonable/cheap price. You specify the length you need, quality service.

I'm using this unit with my pedalboard which at the minute features:
Modified Vox 847 Wah--BOSS TU2 Pedal Tuner--Fulltone Fulldrive II--G2D Custom Overdrive--Modified Ibanez TS9 Tubescreamer--BOSS CE5 Chorus Ensemble--Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo--Fulltone Fat Boost
The Powerstation powers this pedals well, and there's no hum. Unlike when I have used other power supplies in the past.
In the forseeable future I'm also adding a Phaser pedal and a 4-way True Bypass Looper. I have total confidence in this unit, and don't forsee any problems with powering the Looper and Phaser aswell as my other pedals from 1 Powerstation.

I compared this unit to the Visual Sound 1-spot and the Godlyke Powerall, but I bought the Diago Powerstation because to me, it seemed the best value for money of the 3.
After comparing the specs of the 3 power supplies, the Diago seemed to have alot better spec than the other 2 (and better reviews), and it was the same price! This virtually made my mind up for me on the spot.
I have total confidence in this product, and would definitely rely on it 100%.

The reviews of this unit are favourable and has enough output to power all the effect pedals you need. You could get two boss adaptors for the money but you wouldn't get the same power nor the compact size & weight. Worth the money in my opinion

As simple as can be - velcro the impressively small unit to your pedalboard with the supplied velcro, plug into your pedals and turn the mains on! As with any daisy chain setup the length of cable between plugs can be a problem, but only if you have your pedals spread out a bit. Adaptors are available to fit most pedals.
Sound Quality
:
9
The current available from this unit is high compared to other power supplies meaning a larger number of pedals can be daisy chained. Most important however is the silent operation - you don't want your pedals to buzz like a fridge! The only problem i had was with my line 6 Echo Park pedal which is inherently noisy with any form of power, so can't blame the Powerstation for that problem.

Doesn't really affect the sound at all, it's a tiny little power supply that will power a good number of pedals. I'm using it with 6 Boss pedals, an original Marshall Bluesbreaker, and two Morley pedals. They're all 9v 2.1mm negative centre pedals, which makes life easier as I don't need adaptors, and the only slight criticism I can make is that the loops between the connectors are quite short so reaching round big pedals is a stretch. You can get power supply splitters from other sources (inc. Maplin) that have longer reaches on them. Oh, that plus it won't power my Whammy pedal, but that's a Digitech problem not a Diago one as it runs off 9VAC.

I've not had it long, but this type of power supply is usually ultra-reliable, it's designed to handle under- and over-voltage situations with aplomb. Always carry spare batteries and a couple of other regulated PSUs with me anyway just in case, so in an emergency I could patch together a basic pedal board that will do what I need, but I don't forsee any problems with this.

I bought the powerstation with a Tourman pedal board so this review refers to both! I was going to use the power supply features on my BOSS NS2 but after purchasing the pedal board decided (considering price, spec and customer service) to treat myself to the power supply as well!
It is very simple to set up, daisy chains can be linked together indefinatly and unusual effects like electro-harmonix and others can be powered with little adaptors which can be bought on the website. Slightly more length on the daisy chains would be the only improvement I could think of, but only if I was nitpicking!
Setting up the pedal board is very easy. Plenty of velcro is supplied and it is very very strong. I would advise you clean the pedals bases first though so the velcro doesn't stay stuck to the board when you take the pedal off!
Sound Quality
:

The power supply is very effective, I am using it with 10+ effects and it doesn't colour the sound at all! There is no pop when you activate the effects either! I am using a Boogie MK1 and a Guild Starfire V
The build quality of the Tourman is excellent, the fabric covering is very swish and it has a posh looking metal plate on the front! The tourman was also deep enough to fit in my H&K rotosphere which is a massive pedal!

The unit seems very sturdy and as it is mounted on the pedal board wouldn't be exposed to rough handling anyway!
The pedal board is in a very sturdy case, it has provision for padlocking as well! I would trust my pedals to be safe in it, even being thrown into the back of a van!

The customer service is really top notch! All my questions were answered promptly before the sale was made! The pedal can't power 13V Electro Harmonix pedals like Electric Mistress or Memory Man but James offered to adapt a power supply for these pedals for the same price as a regular powerstation! He seems a fountain of knowledge and is very very helpful!
All round top drawer customer service!

I had previously attempted to construct my own pedal board which was a big big mistake! Diago pedal boards and powerstations are amazing value for money and really well constructed! I was amazed at the size of the powerstation (not much bigger than a box of matches so it won't take up room where you could put an extra pedal!)
My board consists of: Pearl OC7 Octaver, DOD FX25 Envelope filter, BOSS CS-2, Ibanez Phase Tone II, BOSS PH-2, BOSS GE7, BOSS CE2 (Japanese model), Real McCoy RMC2 Wah, H & K Rotosphere, EH Memory Man, EH Electric Mistress, EH Double Muff, BOSS DD3
I have to power the H & K pedal seperately as it's tube and runs of a really wierd voltage! You can't have it all though, I would 100% recommend both the Tourman and Powerstation to anyone!

I was looking into getting a single power supply for my pedals because bateries drain too quickly, (and therefore they end up costing more in the long run) and having lots of seperate adapters is expensive, space consuming, and with all those wires overlapping it can be untidy and confusing.
I did some research into the various single unit power supplies availible, but it seemed futile. The "Godlyke powerall" and "One Touch" power supplies both seemed ideal, by their reviews and descriptions here on harmony central and other guitar sites, but i couldn't find anywhere that sold them in this country. Furthermore, not all guitar shops sell single unit power supplies, and the ones that do invariably have big, ugly and expensive brick-sized units that only power about a maximum of 5 pedals and seem generally ureliable and undesirable.
I gave up searching for a while, until i came accross the diago powerstation almost by accident on ebay. It said it worked in all countries (that means including the UK - Yes! ), it could power loads of pedals and even better it was small and discrete. I ordered one there and then and have not been disapointed.
Pros:
+ Works in the UK (or any country - aparently they'll send you a mains cable for your country free of charge if you let them know where you are)
+ No hiss
+ Able to power a lot of pedals at the same time
+ Compatible with loads of pedals (some may require a #3 adapter... but most with a standard boss fitting will be fine)
+ Reasonable price
Cons:
+ The supplied 5-way daisy chain connecter is just a bit too short to go around my crybaby wah, (or another large pedal).

Its so easy my baby daughter can almost use it! Atleast she thinks she can. If your using lots of pedals INVEST IN THE BEST! get one or two of these and make gigs and stuff a little less of a hassle.

I'm no Eric Johnson but I detect no degradation in the tone of my guitar nor volume loss due to the Powerstation. No extra noise either!
Using a Crybaby, Univibe, Tape Echo, Big Muff and Tube Screamer and they all get along with each other thanks to the Powerstation.

Very simple to use. Connect the daisy chain to your effects, and to the Powerstation. Plug the mains cable in, and off you go.

I use a Tech 21 Trademark 60 amp, with a series of Boss effects in a Boss BCB-60 pedal board. Amazingly the Boss power supply that came with the board is only rated at 200ma but the pedals I use add up to 212ma, so I needed more power. The Powerstation provides it, without generating any detectable noise. BCB-60 owners - get one of these!

I haven't had it long enough to comment on reliability, but it looks well made and I would expect it to last a very long time indeed. In the very unlikely event of a failure, the Boss pedals will work on batteries, so no other backup is needed. The Powerstation is much sturdier than the Boss unit. It comes with a heavier mains flex and a regular 3-pin plug (as opposed to the Boss's plug-in transformer with its weedy two-core wire).

Diago are a very easy company to deal with. I ordered the pedal on the web and it arrived the next morning. James is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This unit is a "must" for Boss owners. Its incredibly small, it has a power-on indicator, and its very well made.

The use is quite straightforward: just insert the power cord into the plug and connect all of your pedals and you're ready to go.
There is a bonus velcro strip you can use to attach it to you velcro pedal board, if ever.

I tested it with my 15-watt practice amp, a Gibson ES 335 TD and a bunch of effect pedals:
-George Dennis GD-90 chorus/flanger/volume
-George Dennis GD-30 Wah-wah
-Vox V810 overdrive
-Boss OS-2 overdrive/distortion
-Boss OC-2 octaver
-Behringer OC100 octaver (quite noisy with my previous AC adapter)
-Rocktron Surf Tremolo
-Behringer Vintage Phaser
Provinding 1500 mA, the Powerstation managed to power up all these pedals with no problem. It didn't even get too hot during the test.
Overall it was quite silent. With higher quality effects (such as GD or Boss) there was absolutely no noticeable difference in background noise between the adapter and the use of standard 9v battery.

This little box seems quite sturdy. I guess I have to test in some gigs before giving a real vote here.

Purchased it on ebay, took less than a week to make its way from UK to Italy. Since I had no problems with it (yet? I hope so! :-), I didn't need to contact the support.

PROs:
-It's really SMALL. Much smaller than my previous adapter: won't waste precious space in the pedalboard
-It's silent. Even with 5 effects in chain there's no extra hum other than the one from the amplifier. Moreover it helped a lot in reducing the noise produced by the OC100. Two thumbs up.
CONs:
The daisy chain cord could be longer and could perhaps use L connectors in order to reduce space use between pedals

Plug one end into the wall and the other into your pedals and you're set to go, can't be mutch easier. If your pedals don't have the standard Boss type power inputs you can buy seperate adaptors for #3 each. I gave it a 9 because the adaptors are rather limited in flexibility, making positioning larger pedals (eg, Big Muff) limited.

It's a power supply, it shouldn't interefere with the sound and it doesn't. I've tried it with a recording interface which picks up noise from other power supplies easily, and didn't get any noise from this one.

The website stated that it should arrive next working day if ordered by 12 noon, I ordered late on Sunday and when it hadn't arrived by wednesday I emailed and asked when I should expect to recieve it. I got a reply in less than ten minutes explaining that he had been moving premesis and had sent it out the previous day, sure enough it arrived the next day. A very nice man indeed.
The website also has a pretty extensive list of what pedals will work with it, and what adaptor you'll need for any particular pedal (if any). It also lists the current draw of most of the listed pedals.

It can supply a total of 1.5A to your pedals, which is certainly more than enough for me. I haven't owned any other power supplies, but this seems to work fine for a fraction of the cost of most others. If it were lost or stolen I'd definitely buy another.

Easy as pie, you just plug it into the mains, a daisy chain into it, and the daisy chain into your pedals. There's adaptors available to power Proco, ehx, line6 or 9v battery type fx (and maybe more, i can't remember). There's no hum, (except apparently if you use loads of line6 tonecore boxes) and it takse up very little space on my new (diago!) pedal board. The company feedback is great- i've had several emails going back and forth and they're always very friendly and helpful.
James even sent some velcro specifically for the powerstation.
Great stuff

I know there's no such thing as perfect but I've been playing for 16 years and pumping batteries into pedals for about the same time - every power solution i looked at before was the size of a house and buzzed with more than 5 pedals, - i've got 10 running off this one, no noiser than it was before when I was on batteries, the power unit is a little bigger than a small box of matches and it does the job for a good price.
I'm not a sales rep but the guy who's got the patent on this is gonna be very rich! - If you don't have one - go get one - don't be like me and spend 15+ years buying batteries - this is the way forward!
