Open it up and you will find a lot of space for your pedals, cables and more. Very professional looking, not too heavy.

Sound Quality : No Opinion

Reliability : 10
Sturdy construction, I can't find anything bad on it. Rubber feet and well protected corners. If you're going to fly then maybe you will need something else. If you're not then this is the best choice.

Ok, this is the best point about Diago. I ordered my pedalboard a month ago and James Kitchen (the manager) sent me an email stating that the item was going to be delivered in few days. Unfortunately they got into troubles with the distributor so I had to wait for a couple of weeks. Meanwhile I was constantly in contact with the company, thay apologised and sent me a Diago Powerstation for free as sign of good will. I have to say that I've never had the pleasure of dealing with such a great customer support.

That's exactly what I was looking for. A simple flat board and a sturdy case. If you're looking for pedalboards with many levels for power supplies or because you don't want to see patch cables and stuff like that then you'd better choose Pedaltrain or others. This is just what Diago states in its website, no more no less.

Flip the latches and it opens. The hinges at the back allow it to sit open or for you to remove the lid completely. The latches also have a little loop so you could lock it shut if you wish. The pedal area is made of a nice looking/clean/level sheet of loop velcro. Attach the included industrial strength hoop velcro to your pedals and your done. Simple.

Sturdy construction. Well protected corners. Big rubber feet on the bottom. I like the look and feel of the hinges and latches. I always been one to look after my gear so I wouldn't put it through any sort of trauma but I imagine it could take a fair few knocks and survive.

Customer Support : 10
Unparalleled in my opinion. I've been in contact with Diago for all sorts of advice and for answers to my questions (before and after buying this and other products I have bought from them) and I've always came away with fully satisfied. Website is great too - loads of pictures and other helpful information.

Overall Rating : 10
Can't really give this anything but a perfect score. People will complain that it's not angled or has space underneath like the Pedaltrain. Or that velcro isn't consistent enough or whatever. But then why buy one then say that? Diago states clearly what it is, what it does and why it is that way. I wouldn't say it's better or worse than other types of pedal boards - just different. This one is perfect for me because what I wanted was a flat board that I can stick pedals to in a reliable and easy way and that doubles as protection/a case for my effects. That's what I ordered and that's what I got.

Real easy to use - good quality fabric/carpet stuff really grips the velcro on the back of your pedals well.

Sound Quality : 10
Makes a satisfying "thunk" when you close the lid or kick it.

Reliability : 10
Doesn't seem to have any issue that may affect long term sustained abuse so it will be pretty dependable.

Customer Support : 10
I haven't had to contact them for anything.

Overall Rating : 10
Very good board for the money. It's not a professional flight case, but then I couldn't afford one of this size. If your gigging often and not flying, then this is the board to buy!

Time will tell. Seems sturdy, though not as rugged as my previous NSP pedalboard

Never dealt with them. They delivered it in super quick time though.

This is a simple and good value pedalboard.
It lacks a few of the features of the more expensive boards, such as a space beneath the base, or a removeable inside section. There is also no built in section for routing out power cables or leads.
However, for the price this is great.
It's light and well built, has loads of space and enough depth for all my pedals.
I am very happy with this.

Very easy to set up. The inside floor/base of the board is covered in black velcro receptive material so positioning/ re-positioning pedals is easy. The lid is deep enough on this board to accomodate even my deeper pedals and my heavy duty surge protected / filtered Belkin mains sockets. I have the Diago power unit to power most of my pedals, but several of my pedals run at 18V co they still each need their own dedicated power supplies.

The only plug I have to remove to get the pedal board lid on is the Fulltone 2 pin adapter which goes into a 2pin femail-3 pin male adapter - making it rather high. No problem though.

Lovely tough black nylon (I think) finish to the outside of the case which looks terrific and durable. The name plate is a great finishing touch. The twin catches, corner protectors, and carry handle are all sturdy and there are 4 small feet on the back edge so the board is prtected from the floor when being transported.

The lid removes very easily and the inside is very well padded to protect the pedals.

Sound Quality : 10
Being a pedal board it doesnt make any sound... lol but the power supply is great and takes up less room that the 2 x AC DC power banks I had to use previously. THe daisy chain idea works well.

Reliability : 10
Very sturdy and I am over the moon with the board. It looks great open or closed and I've even at last gone to the trouble to use some small cable ties to finally tidy up what used to be a mess of cables and wires.

Customer Support : 10
Superb. Very swift delivery with polite and courteous communications.

Overall Rating : 10
Thoroughly recommended and seeing their web site encourages me that I am not the only pedal geek out here in need of a terrific, value for money, professional solution. Long live the stomp box!!

The finishing touches to my (ever evolving) rig - nice one diago.

Well, this is a pedal board with no bells and whistles, it have very low edges on the board to allow easy access to your pedals.

Well there is no hum!

I have been using it now for a few weeks and it has not fallen apart yet, it appears to be very sturday in construction and is of a very hight quality. All the fixture and fittings make this board a very attractive piece of kit.

I have dealt with James Kitchen on a number of occaisions for all kinds of issues (these requests were not related to quality, craftsmanship or faulty equipment) and he is very quick to respond and will do his best to solve any issues you may have. (even if it means purchasing other items from Diago ;-)> )

Overall I would give this board 8 out of 10, I'll explain why..

There is an age old issue for all guitar player that have ever built there own pedal board (I am speaking from experience, I was on my third home-made board before I bought this one).

What is the best way to fix my pedals to the board?

Well, most manufacturers (Diago included) advise and include velcro. Now velcro is an obvious solution than works most of the time for most pedals, however if I have found that if you use pedals that are larger than norm and are a little heavy, like the Jim Dunlop Crybaby for instance, no matter how much velcro you attach to it, it will eventually work its way off.

Unfortunately, no board maker provides any alternative fastening techniques, as the ability to create a generic fastener for all the different kinds of pedals on the market would be quite difficult.

So this is the area that always gets me, so I have shaved off a few marks for it.

HOWEVER! James at Diage did offer me a solution given to him by another of his customers which I have to say is quite clever and ensures that your pedals never fall off the board, and can be easily detatched and moved within reason.

BUT! I am not going to displose that info to you here, you will have to contact Diago to find out.

Sturdy carry handle. Two quick but secure, non-locking, case fasteners keep everything safe during transit. Lift the lid stright off after opening - case uses two separating hinge. Simple. Easy to replace and secure the lid. The board is a simple box with a shallow rim, which is low enough not to get in the way of your foot when using effects positioned right next to the edges. No provision is made for power supply or cable routing - you set this up as you need it.

Sturdily built - the Tourman is the big brother in the Diago Pedal Board range. It locks securly, and though it doesn't give serious metal flight case protection (which I didn't need), it is a million miles better than cheaper and relatively flimsy soft(er) pedal board products. Everything has a quality feel to it, solid wood construction, with external corner protection, and internal padding on the inside of the lid to protect your pedals.

Customer Support : 10
I found James Kitchen excellent to deal with - generous, helpful, friendly and professional.

Overall Rating : 9
Compared to other pedal boards I'd looked over, I think the Tourman was the best for the money - a quality product at a good price. If you are looking to put a board together, from my experiance, bear the following points in mind:
1. The use of velcro is fine for most effects - but it won't support the heaviest - eg. My metal wah was too heavy to remain stuck for long periods when the board was stored upright, even though the underside was completely covered by the velcro.
2. It's worth going for the biggest board you can justify as you need space for cables, power supplies, and jack plugs. However, the Tourman is heavy - especially when loaded with effects!
3. The Tourman had the necassary depth for the deepest of my pedals - but watch this - especially for some EH pedals where you will need right angled jack plugs if you want to keep these pedals connected and still be able to close the lid!
4. Checkout Planet Waves 'Cable station' custom solderless cable products for a complete custom cabling solution and loooper.com for excellent totally custom built, value for money multi-loop switching solutions:.
