The Sh*t!!!Very warm, very playable fuzz. It's has bottom and the harmonics just jump out of your amp.Playing leads sound great!!!I have one of the old vintage Diaz Fuzz. It's the green monster with 1 germanuim transistor(NTE 103).It's not muddy sounding like my Dunlop FuzzFace and it lot warmer than my Tonebender clone but not as wild as my Prescription Experience! Now I know why SRV used one!I have an DPDT installed on mine(a must)!
My setup:Fender 62 Strat reissue>>Vox/Teese wah>Dunlop Rotovibe>PE Experience>Diaz Fuzz>Jekyll&Hyde>Boss CE-2>>Boss RRV-10>Pignose G-40V>2X12 cab.
If it had a tone control knob it would be perfect!!!

The Diaz Square Fuzz kills my Dulop Fuzzface reissue!!!I get that warm SRV fuzz sound.I can also get that Jimi germanium fuzzface sound with this badboy! If it had a tone control it would be PERFECT?If your wanting a warm kickass fuzz, you can't go wrong with a Diaz Fuzz! The new models have interchangeable transistors(how cool). While their not cheap($160)there alot better than most in production if not all!

I use a wide range of guitars, fender, gibson, guild, danelectro, hamer, ibanez and some homemades. My amps range from a custom vibrolux 2x10 to a evh 5150,Depending on where I am at and what I am doing. But there are 3 things that are always with me.My old cry baby wah,my Diaz Tremadillo, and my Diaz Tex Square Face.I use tubescreamers, super overdrives, several different octave devices,as well as Modulation pedals, but they all work around the Diaz pedals and the Wah.I can get blues tones that don`t sound like everyone else,or I can get into Cream/Hendrix world with the tun of a knob..Yes I really like these pedals, just don`t like sharing my secrets with everyone"sorry Cesar they are all painted Black"As far as noise goes,I have no problem with that at all.

This is the fuzz I have been looking for. Totally awesome. Once that I heard that Diaz made the fuzz pedals for SRV. I knew this would be the right one. To me SRV had the best fuzz I ever heard. If you ever seen or heard him play live before he past away, you will notice he used the fuzz alot. Songs like Vooddo chile, Leave my girl alone, Life without you "solo". The best fuzz you ever heard. I tried fulltone's 69 which was cool. But the not the fuzz I wanted. I tried a bunch of them. Z vex fuzz factory, fulltone, dallas, etc, etc. The trick to this pedal is that it has to be before your TS 808 or 9 pedal in the effect chain. Its the only spot on the chain that makes this pedal scream. Sustain forever with slight TS overdrive on top. It doesn't sound that great running it by itself. Fender amps and vintage strats is what I use and this is the tone for fuzz I always wanted. Thanks Ceaser Diaz!

No more fuzz searching for me. I am content. I wish it had a led, but no big deal. I will install a 3dpt switch and make it true bypass which will be even better.

Very straight forward fuzz pedal. Volume knob and fuzz knob Unfortunately no LED and definitely a black mark for no 9V input. (this is an optional extra??)

Great sound. Nails that Hendrix/SRV fuzzface sound. Smooth but cleans up if you back up on the guitar. Doesn't offer a huge boost but that's not what you'd expect anyway

Looks bulletproof enough. Uses MXR size cast case so should be fine. Internal PCB is only protected by a small piece of foam. Knobs were loose when I got it, No documents/guarantee info

I'd probably buy it again but I'd have a good look first at the modified versions of the Dallas/Arbiter fuzz face going around and I'm also going to get hold of the Fulltone '69 then A/B and keep one of them
