Ease of Use : 10
The Texas Tremodillo is a very straightforward and easy to use pedal. It has rate and dwell controls, a half-cut/double rate switch, a very cool rate LED, an AC adaptor jack, and of course, an on/off switch.

Sound Quality : 10
This is the best sounding tremolo i've ever heard. The Tremodillo is completely silent when the instrument is not being played. There are no pops, static, or annoying hum, as with other pedals on standby. The Tremodillo has a very warm and lush sound that is unbelievable for any internal amp tremolo, let alone from a small pedal.

Reliability : 10
It's built like a tank. The case and switches are all steal. Unlike some pedals, this one is designed and built to be stepped on.

Customer Support : 10
Diaz Amplification is a great company to work with. Their products sound great and are built to last. It's nice to deal with a real person instead of a machine that doesn't really care what you do, as long as your sending them money. Diaz is very helpful with any questions you may have with the use and maintenance of his products.

Overall Rating : 10
Like i said, this is simply the best tremolo i've ever heard and used. It's really cool to have the ability to put a trem like this through any amp sound too. Probably the best feature of the Tremodillo, besides it's sound, is the rate LED. This allows the user to visualize the speed of the tremolo effect with a bright red light, and gives confirmation to the on/off status of the pedal just by looking at it. i'm pretty critical about the stuff i use, but i just had to give this one a ten. When i buy something, i expect it to sound great, last, and be fun to use, and that's what the Tremodillo has done. Overall, this pedal is easy to use, tough, compact, and most importantly, it sounds incredible.

Piece of cake to operate.I can`t make it sound bad if I tryed. But then again I own a lot of nice amps that others sounded like do do playing through, but they scream for me..

Sound Quality : 10
Sounds like a tremolo. When I get lazy and don`t use my vibratone cab, this pedal doesn`t let me miss it..I really like this pedal.

Reliability : 10
Never had one problem with it.And boy does it get used.

There is none better.

I play all styles of music, see my review on the texas square face.I have other pedals like this one that I won`t advertise here, simply because they are not as cool sounding, and they break quite often. The Diaz pedal is the shit..

This is the best tremolo pedal I've heard, and I've owned/tried a bunch. I got it used so there was no manual, but it's not needed. One depth knob and one rate knob (chickenheads), one bypass footswitch, and one footswitch that either halves or doubles the rate. The rate and depth knobs are very sensitive, so you have to adjust them carefully. Also they're rather close together so it's easy to accidentally move one when you're adjusting the other, especially if you have big fingers like mine. It's not much to deal with, and overall I like the design.

Sound Quality : 10
I use hollowbody guitars through Fender amps. The Tremodillo isn't noisy, the only noise I hear comes from the single-coil pickups. I have heard that some of them were noisy, but mine seems fine. It produces the sweetest, buttery tremolo of any pedal I've used. It honestly sounds like an excellent Fender amp tremolo. Of course, it's at a disadvantage because it's going into the front end of the amp, rather than being part of the amp's circuitry, but it still compares favorably. It humbles the built-in tremolo of most amps.

Reliability : 9
Seems solidly built, and I haven't had any problems with it. The interior construction looks neat and tidy. I would use it without a backup without hesitation. Just make sure to put in a fresh battery beforehand, because if the battery dies during a gig, you would have to remove four screws on the bottom to change it, a time-consuming process.

Customer Support : 10
I've never personally dealt with the company, but Diaz left a post on alt.guitar.effects saying that if you had gotten a unit that didn't work properly, just send it in and he would replace it with a new one. Cesar Diaz was out of commission for a good while due to cancer, but apparently he's okay now. In his absence, his employees turned out some units that were sloppily put together and noisy, but Diaz is willing to make good.

Overall Rating : 9
This is a great pedal, superior to all others I've used (Boss PN-2 & TR-2, Rocktron Surf Tremolo, DOD VibroThang [rubbish], Ibanez. The only two that might give it a run for its money are the Voodoo Labs and the Demeter Tremulator. I'm extremely happy with the Tremodillo, especially at the price I got it. But, if anything happened to it I would probably try out the Tremulator because of its reputation, and the fact that it has the advantage of a 1db boost. But as far as I'm concerned right now, the Tremodillo rules the coop.

On, off, Speed, Depth, Rate. Depth is called "dwell" The rate control fine tunes the speed of the trem. The speed button ( as in step on button ) seems to double the speed if the rate is low and cut it in half if your trem'n fast. It's a very cool feature.

Sound Quality : 10
As far as stomp box trems this is the holy grail. It's quiet, and dosn't loose any highs. It's very warm and natural sounding effect.

So far so good.

I'd buy it again and recomend it to anyone. I don't know if this was a newer model but it had a LED blinking to the beat of the trem, another one I saw didn't have this?

I called up the company and the president/owner (Cesar Diaz) answered the phone. Nice guy. He used to be SVR's amp tech.

Overall Rating : 10
Excellent sounding trem pedal and the only one around with a dual speed footswitch.
