Ease of Use : 9
Very easy to get a good sound out of it. The manual has some good starting points, but easy to tweak.

Sound Quality : 9
I use a MIM Tele,MIM Strat,PRS CE-24, and Kramer Pacer for guitars. I use a Dr.Z Mini Z, Carvin V-16, and '82 Carvin X100b for amps. It adds no additional noise.Cleans and distortion both are good. The looping function is a blast to use. The analog sim is believable compared to my Keeley AD-9(great). The reverse delay is fun but not very useful.

Reliability : No Opinion
I haven't had it long, but looks like it will last a long time

Customer Support : No Opinion
Have not used yet

Overall Rating : 10
I play Blues and Metal. Been playing for about 30 years.I would buy it again if it were stolen or lost. I love that it has so many types of delay. I love how the delay trails off when it's switched off.I have an analog delay(AD-9) and this digital delay fills in all the gaps that an analog delay just can't do.

Well depends on the mode used some are easy some I dunno what they are there for..The tap tempo is a pain.

Sound Quality : 9
Well IMO the tape delay simulator is as best as your gonna get without forking over a wade of cash for a real tape echo unit. The chorus delay has a beutiful chimey spookey tone for clean arpegios. Not something you can use allot but nice for clean pickin. The loop is a joke a feature to attract kids but who cares. The reverse I dunno maybe if ya know what to do with it,but I have no use for it.The delays are nice and I'd say on par with Boss's DD-3.I like this pedal allot I run mine allmost exclusivly on the tape echo for a quick 2 repeat echo ala Jimmy Page.Me likes allot!!Just for the tape and chorus I'll give it a 9

Reliability : 5
Well it eats batteries like they are goin outta style.I'm talkin a new Duracell in like a few hours. And when it dies this thing will makes space ship noises and cut out etc... Not pretty!!!!!!!!So a power supply is a MUST.I use a visual sound daisy chain. Also the switch tends to stick once in awhile on mine and needs to be hit twice but I live with it cause of the tape delay. But also I might note that my pedal board sits in the back of our band truck year round and I'm sure moisture plays a role in that.

Customer Support : No Opinion
dunno

Overall Rating : 7
Well overall I'll give it a 7.5 its a great tape delay, mod delay, digital delay with a couple odd quirks. And a few usless boutique lure the kiddies features such as tap tempo,reverse,loop...but just don't use um who cares.Nice pedal I'd say if you don't mind runnin a power supply and occasionly needing to hit it off twice its better than a Boss.

piss easy to use, can't complain with it, the tap tempo is a very nifty little accessory

Sound Quality : 10
Tis a veryy nice sounding pedal, the reverse setting is pretty good, I use it with my micrphone and it's quite funny
There's next to no background noise, you can hardly hear it even if you put an overdrive pedal after the delay

Reliability : No Opinion
Yep, built like a military vehicle, a strong one

Customer Support : No Opinion
never spoke to them

Overall Rating : 9
Very good pedal, a worthwhile buy and I was very impressed with the cabinet modelling, sounds very good

Let me preface this by saying that I don't read manuals, have never owned a delay pedal, and know nothing about milliseconds, tape and echo delays or any of the technichal stuff. I like to sit in front of my amp and turn all the knobs until I figure it our. That being said, It took me about a week to figure out what everything does. It was pretty easy, really. I did end up downloading the manual from the internet, and it was pretty complete.

Here is my set up.

Epiphone LP > Fender Pedal Tuner > BigMuff Pi > MXR Phase 90 > DigiDelay > Rivera Knucklehead 2.

The effects are solid. It can sound a little plain at times, if I am doing something really simple, maybe on or two note thing, but I am mostly using it at extreme settings, for the craziest sounds possible. I really like setting it on infinite loop and cranking the phaser to the fastest setting. It's like a nightmare.

I bought this on the reccomendation from Juan Alderete the Mars Volta bassist, and I suppose if I had a couple more delays, along with about 20 other pedals, I could nail thier sound so...

One very cool thing about the pedal is when you shut it off, it keeps going for a couple of seconds, so it's not such a drastic change. I like this feature, but I could see where one would not like it.

Also, I have found this wierd setting where it sounds like I'm playing a warped 8 track tape. All delays might have this, but like I said earlier, this was my delay pdeal

Reliability : 7
I have had it for a few months now, and everything works. One of the knobs is a little scratchy, but it was like that when I bought it. I bought it from the clearence rack at Guitar Center, and I worked the guy over on price, so he told me I couldn't bring it back. No big deal, it not even that noisy.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never called them or emailed, but the website is pretty easy to use.

Overall Rating : 7
I play a blend of heavier stoner rock, with a lot of ambient noise and feed back. Think Kyuss meets The Mars Volta meets Sigur Ros.

I have been playing off and on for about 14 years. I have been playing seiously for about 6.

If it was lost, I would likely get a new one, if I could find a good deal on it. But I like to expierment, so If I had to pay full price, I would likely get a Boss DD6 or something.

At first it wasn't very ease to learn how to use all the features the right, it is kind of hard to get used to the tap tempo for example. But with a little amount of time you should get used to it. And hey!!Phill Campbell of Motorhead uses it!!

Sound Quality : 9
The tape delay and the first three delay times are great, I don't use the Chorus delay, the reverse or the Loop mode, but it sounds a lot better than all multieffects units out there, maybe not as good as a Lexicon, but pretty close just in a little box.

Reliability : 10
It is built pretty sturdy, it is totally reliable, I don't have any replace for my pedals as I think all of them are 100% reliable.

Never dealt

Overall Rating : 9
I use it along a Boss Od-3, a digitech grunge, and a dunlop crybaby, it has been very useful, I don't think it sounds overprocessed, and the tap tempo feature is great!!. In my rig it is on almost every time.

I haven't read anyone talk of the looping funtion this pedal has connected to the 4 second delay patch. The instructions don't mention it also.
On the 4 second delay set the repeats knob to around 8 and then play and create some cool pattern then turn the repeats knob to 10. this will capture the pattern as a loop. Play over it and you don't add any more to it, not till you turn the knob back to 8.
This means the pedal must be off the ground within reach.
I have a pedal board With a MagicStomp > Digiverb > Digidelay > Guyatone MD3 allgoing to two Tech21 PowerEngine60 amps.
I use a PedalRacks True Bypass Strip to punch in/out my fx
All played by hand, not foot.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
The delays are very nice. I like the 4 sec ( it syncs perfectly with 120 bpm) I also like the 2 sec w/mod. turn the time and you get beautiful pitch sweep washes with no glitches. beautiful mod sound. Unfortunatly the 4 sec will glitch if you turn the time.
I've made a loop and let it go for hours and there's no degradation in sound.

Reliability : 6
Well, bummer, the light went out.
So keep it 'on delay' and just use the true bypass strip to punch in/out.

If your into delays like me then this is a must pedal. It has a lot in common with the old Digitech 8 sec delay that Bill Frisell uses.
Now Bill is using the Digidelay as well. That says a lot to me

New Delay users may be a bit overwelmed by the Amount of Delay Types and finding what they want but other than that its very straight forward

Sound Quality : 10
The True Bypass is as clean as a whistle. Not a whisper when turned off.
When on, i found the best Delays for my needs were number 1, the short Delay for Cleans and Number 2 for Solos but also enjoyed number 4, the Tape Delay which was also nice for Brian May style Cleans.

You can get pretty much any Speed Delay you want from this Pedal and the Loop is quite fun as well

Reliability : 10
Had it about 2 Years. Not one problem

Customer Support : 5
I asked Digitech about a Pedal board and they said NO. Fair enough

Pretty easy to use, just takes a little time.
The tap tempo is really useful and accurate

Sound Quality : 9
Sounds great, it adds a little noise which can be heard if you run the pedal into distortion, but you're not supposed to anyway so it's not a problem

Reliability : No Opinion
I'm not too sure about the reliability because I haven't had it very long

I like this pedal and it's useful for any style of music that actually requires you to play the guitar. So it's not something for Nu metal players

Fender '72 Telecaster Deluxe->Boss TU2->Boss OD2->Marshall Drivemaster->MXR Phase 90->Danelectro Danecho->Line 6 DL4->Digidelay->Fender '65 Twin reissue

Odd little pedal w/ a great deal of personality. I mostly use it for the "Tape" setting and to create loops in conjunction w/ the DL4. Great for doing lush ambient washes. Set a short echo behind it and you can get some good U2 sounds. I fail to see what's really so much better about the boss digital delays.

Quirky pedal, but I like it. If you have a couple of decent delays already, look into it to add some texture.

Reliability : 7
3 years, no complaints so far... nice metal case akin to a boss...

Roughly 10 years experience; mostly brit-pop, indie, and experimental... I think I'd actually pick up another if it were stolen. It's a great bargin for beginners and can add some interesting textures to the experienced player's palette.
