As easy to use as any tuner. Has all the features you need. LED's are nice and bright for stage use (strobe mode might be a bit TOO bright!). Much thought has clearly gone into this tuner.

It would seem that digitech are obsessed with the true-bypass (hardwire) theme of these pedals, even to the point of forgetting to put 'Digitech' on them (Which may cost them a few sales). In practice, the tuner is wonderfull. It has a choice of outputs (muted/thru) for silent or audiable tuning. Technically, sound quality should be zero, as this pedal does sod-all to your sound. Apart from keep it in tune.

Early days, but this pedal is built like the foundry that they build tanks in. It's big, heavy, overbuilt (it's a tuner for God's sake!) and the LED's are FAR too bright. In short, it rocks!

N/A. Would love to get the chance to talk to Digitech support, as I fear they may be the loneliest people in the world. Sadly I own a Hardwire pedal, so this will never happen. More chance of my cockroach collection becoming faulty...

I play guitar. Pretty badly. I've been after a tuner pedal for ages, and was all set on the TU-2 (like everyone else). Plumped for the Hardwire because of it's true-bypass abd it's build quality. If you can get one for the same price as the BOSS then you're laughing. It's a better pedal.

I am only placing this as an 8 because there are a lot of modes. They are easy to use, but because they are there it makes tuning easier.

It's true bypass, and it's a tuner... so this is a 10.

Couldn't tell you yet, it's only been a few months, so I will leave this as no opinion. But, I have never had a digitech product fail me yet.

They could respond faster, but hey, at least they respond mostly!

Ok, this thing does not like my EMG's as much as normal pickups. It tunes my D string sharp... so I have to hit the 12th fret harmonic just for that string when I'm using my guitar with EMG's. I have no idea WHY, and it seems to just be that string. I have tested this so many times with so many different guitars I'm going crazy. Other than that, this is a very accurate tuner. I don't find it to be any more accurate than my TU-2 and would tend to say that it is LESS accurate. It really gravitates towards that bright blue "in tune" light, even if the string isn't fully in tune. I have spent countless hours A/B'ng this with my TU-2. I bought this for the true bypass AND the fact that it has two outputs, mute and through, which the korg pitch black doesnt have. If I had to take a tuner pedal to a desert island with me for the rest of my life, I'd take the TU-2. But this thing will improve my tone in the mean time by removing another buffer from my chain (even though boss buffers are good).
All in all, I'm slightly frustrated by the fact that it's not more accurate than the TU-2 and that it doesnt respond to my EMG's (81 and 60) the same as my other guitars which both have seymour duncans in them.
