Ease of Use : 7
This is a half-rackspace dual line mixer, consisting of two separate 3-channel stereo mixers, meant to cascade Mix 1 into Mix 2 (if so desired), and with a few options for splitting and duplicating some channels. 2 knobs- volume for each mix. Not very difficult, depending on what you want to do, but can take some planning if you want to make full use of its interesting features. The manual is well-written, which helps.

Sound Quality : 10
I am using this unit to mix the outputs of a Lexicon MPX-G2 and TC G-Force processing my guitar signal in parallel. then this mix goes out to a Gibson Echoplex, and the Echoplex signal is added back into the final mix, which goes straight to the board. This mixer is noiseless and very transparent. You could say it has no "sound," which is exactly what I want from a device like this.

Reliability : 7
It seems very well-made, but the chassis is a bit flimsy- very thin metal, it seems. On the bright side, it's virtually weightless, but I'd be concerned about durability if not for the fact that I have it securely racked.

Customer Support : 8
I e-mailed DMC/Voodoo Labs with some questions about their products before choosing this one, and they answered quickly and were very friendly and informative.

Overall Rating : 8
The size, weight, price and quality of this little mixer made it an excellent choice for my setup. It lets me manage my rig easily, and I can switch between processors (or combine them) and loop my playing with the Echoplex easily, while using a minimal amount of cabling, splitting, etc., and only have to worry about one output signal to the board. I wish it had balanced connections (especially at the output stage), but my signal does not seem to have suffered from going unbalanced. I would add a DI of some sort for long runs.
