once you figure out the Q knob, it's just like any other wah

Just like the advertisements say, this IS the most versatile wah. I use it in front of many different distortions and in my amps of varying quality (peavey rage 158, fender stage 112se, mesaboogie tremoverb) and its good in all of them. This is my first wah (i've been against retro/"hendrix" effects until now) and it's great. Highly recommended. It will get as loud or soft as you want (has a 0 to +20db boost knob)

N/A. Dunlop's accompanying manual says the potentiometer is estimated to last for 1,000,000+ cycles. I've had it about 2 weeks and it hasn't given me any trouble.

Unless you don't have legs, i doubt that a wah pedal could be difficult to use. The added boost and "Q" controls are explained quite clearly in the brief booklet included with the pedal and are easy to use and understand

I'm currently running a Nashville Deluxe Telecaster through a Fender Ultimate Chorus. For distrotion I use a Danelectro Fab-Tone along with an old DOD FX7. The crybaby 535Q has become the most used of all my effects. Its extemely quiet on clean settings, and can be quiet or noisy as hell with distortion depending on how you set the boost setting. Thats what I love about this pedal. You can tailor it the way you want it. you can adjust the frequency the wah acts upo and the degree to which it does. The only real problem is that the boost and "Q" controls are VERY HARD to access( they are on the underside of the pedal!)In general the wah is very warm and smooth, but can be coaxed into producing some harsh wah.

Like all Dunlops, this pedal is built like a tank.

I love this wah pedal, especially for its versatility. I love to play blues and some Santana style music, and the wah has inspired my phrasing. The only problems that kept me from giving this pedal a 10 in this category is that the pedal is a tad expensive and I wish the guys at Dunlop had put the boost and "Q" controls on the side of the pedal. I would, however, definetly buy the pedal again.

It is pretty easy, plug in the guitar and amp. jack and it rocks. Of course, put in battary or ac power. There is a dial nobe on the side for quick selection (6 choices from high pitch to low). There are 2 adjustable switches on the bottom plate for variable pitch range and the boost volume. A very good manual comes with it. Only problem I don't like is the boost volume should have a easier switch on the side for activate.

Sounds are pretty good !! I never tried others and I picked this box based on the confidence of it. Well and I think I made a good choice. Good hi-low pitch range with both clean and distortion sound. For clean sound, it doesn't matter where you put it in the chain. For distortion, I put the wah after my ibanze box and it really really SUCKs !! Then I put it before the distortion and it sound really GOOD !! hehe !! Also I got a good pick harmonic sound by just turned the wah on and keep it in the certain level. I like it very much !!

It solids as rock but I heard it is very easy to get dirt or dust in the pot. Hmmmm, I don't know yet, but I am keeping my area clean and hopefully there will be no problem.

I called them before I got this wah for price checking and query about its ac adaptor model number. They are very friendly and I am happy with it.

It really give a new life and flavor to my sound. I never used a wah before and this box is always on now. It gives a very nice rythmatic and a new taste when my soloing. It also have a great range on the pitch. Before I got this one, I also considered the VOX. From my research, the VOX should have a better sound than this. But I still picked this amongs others (including the regular 535) is because I like the feature that I can adjust the pitch and boost level by my taste of it rather than the preset selection. This is the greatest thing out of this new model. I am using the ac adaptor for it because it save money in the long term. I don't get any hum or static from it. Very quite unit. Again, if it has an easier access for the boost switch and volume control, then it will be the perfect box !! For the bargain price I got and the usability, it is an excellent buy !!
