Dunlop Crybaby 95Q

This effect is very simple to operate. It has a nice feel when you rock the pedal back and forth.

I'm using this pedal with a Fernandez les paul bodied guitar and a modified boss DS-1 (modded with more mids). The sound effect is strong enough to produce a nice angry lead tone. When I'm on clean setting, I can also emulate a nice swirling phase effect while rocking the pedal mildly. I owned the 535Q and GCB95 before but sold them because it was very hard to use live. The switch design on the 95Q is great! Now I can use effect througout a song without any effort. If I'll compare the sound of the 95Q and 535Q, I would go for the 535Q. If I'll compare the 95Q to GCB95, I would choose 95Q because the sound effect on the GCB95 is quite subtle.
I think the best amp setting for this effect is - lower treble and do not scoop the mids. Otherwise, your tone will be too shrill enough to make your audience head for the exit.

It broke after 2yrs of use.

When the effect broke, I emailed the dunlop support requesting them to sell and ship the spare part for me to repair the pedal on my own. The technical support replied asking for me for my address (i'm from singapore). After a week I receive a mail with the dunlop spare part. Awesome customer support!!! I love this company.

Overall, this is an great product with a good design and awesome aftersales customer support.

Its a wah pedal just step on it and wah. The Eq is ok. pedal is very stiff and doesn't move as easily as a normal crybaby.

The wah has very little sound at the heel position. Can't end in a toe position on it because it is switchless. Just not a good wah sound.

this is the best wah ive owned in 25 years of playing.and i bought it when they first came out in 97?
yes,it is digital i believe as it has a pcb with micro components,but it has no effect on my tone when bypassed and a perfect buffer.
but switchless is the main reason to buy one.
sounds like a good crybaby should.

it sounds amazing clean with my strat and jc-60 amp.
but it also plays well before any distortion or overdrive ive ever put after it.
i use a tremolo like wah teqnique ALOT in my playing by rocking my wahs back and forth rapidly.the switchless designe makes this easier but so does the spring loaded treadle,it snaps back to the off position if you take your wieght off of it.
ive had this so long now that im afraid i couldnt go back to a non spring loaded pedal again.
i dont have much use for the volume boost or mini pots to adjust the wah q. i just set the q at maximum and turn off the boost to unity gain.

well,here is my reason for the review,my wah is about 12 years old and the tiny pcb mounted on off sensor switch finally stopped workin.
i contacted dunlop and they sent me a replacement over to europe without hesitation.pretty amazing customer service.
it was a really easy fix and now its ready to rock another 12 years or more. oh,the potentiometer is sealed too and mine has never developed any scratchyness.

as i mentioned above, its not too common these days for tech support like that,especially at a big company.
so im giving 10's.

i play reggae,funk,blues,rnb and rock with this wah.it covers any and all styles i throw at it.
well done dunlop! now,how about more hand wired products like the 74 script phase 90? maybe a handwired envelope filter or micro/chorus?

SWITCHLESS... thats why I bought it.Always used dunlop wahs,and then I was turned onto morley switchless,I was sold,as the lead singer I dont want to have to think about the switch while singing.Then I found out dunlop had a switchless,ordered it and love it.

I had the rack wah it was cool,but i use one setting,so I tried the 535q nice, but has a switch... cool for studio, tremonti wah cool but on the high notes almost not like its there,then I found this and love it,I can hear the change on the high note leads,also I like the stiffer feel of the pedal compared to morley.

It's a wa so it's easy just step and go.

The sound is unbeliveable on my rig. I use a lonestar special boogie and a strat. A match made in heaven. It has quiet switching and and very usable tone sweep. The volume boost is adjustable which is good because every amp reacts differently to wa's.

This is where everything goes far south! It worked great for about three months. It was the best addition to my sound in a long time. Then all of a sudden the wa would kick out to by-pass with my foot half way down. The company said I could send it back or tighten this screw like they would so I did. It worked for a month then it happened again. I called again and they said retighten it so Idid. It worked for another month then it intermittenly would not engage the wa at all. They said I should loosen the screw a little bit. By this time the warranty had run out and so did my patience. I think I it's a piece of shit that should'nt be on the market until the bugs are all worked out.

The people I talked to were friendly and helpful but the product was faulty.

I play blues-rock for about 30 years about 100 times a year in a band situation. I would replace it if the new one would work any better but I'm very leery. The sound was exceptional so it's heart breaking that I feel this way. I have two old dunlap wawa's that crapped out over the years so I should have learned my lesson.

this thing is a very comfortable wah, and has that nice 'car pedal' feel that you dont have to think about just rock away. goes into bypass mode...easy.

well, the q-controll is pretty useless. leave in on 10 and forget it to the the best sound. the volume part is OK, sometimes you can get really lound tones from it sort of like pumping it up?...like press get a boost rock back half way and press again get double boost. i dont really like this but i guess its pretty typical of all wahs...the kill switch is a nice feature. the wah dosent really stand up in sound to something like an RMC3 or a vintage wah, (i replaced mine with an RMC3 and THAT is a perfect 10)

if it does have one thing going for it, it is one sturdy pedal, you could probably throw this out of an airplane with a bomb attached to it. you would find it gleaming atop the rubble unscathed, and working perfectly. so i guess it could be used without a backup

i have been playing for about 4 years and own a few other pedals. if this were lost or stolen, i would not replace it. i would of a year ago when i thought crybabys were where it all stopped. do yourself a favor and by an RMC3 you will not regret it. i did a side by side comparison and this thing just sounded flat next to an RMC3 but if price is an issue, this one will suffice...i mean its alright. i do quite like the rocker function though, and it is a brick...yea...its ok.

Easiest wah pedal ever! Has an auto spring back feature so you won't have to rock you foot back and forth. When you wan to use it,just rock on it like a car pedal. Take your foot off it and it turns into bypass mode.Simple enough?

You can get any sounds with it.

I'm using it with an epiphone g400 and a boss MT-2 metal zone through a freaky lousy yamaha amp.(Only have this 2 pedals so far)

Easiest effect to use ever. Switchless function is the most important thing to me...I just turn the other two mini pots up full.

Because I generally use the wah just for lead, I use the volume boost switch in. I just have to put my foot on the pedal and I have my instant lead sound!

The only criticism is that the pots on the side (Q control and Volume boost) are only labelled on the underside.

Oh, and one other thing- if you have a pedal board, you need this on the far right hand side if you're going to use the volume boost switch- otherwise you won't be able to get to it.

The Crybaby is the industry standard. No question. Slash, Kirk Hammett, Jimi... I get the Wah sound I need.

I use a PRS standard into this wah into a Peavey Valve King 212- I like things simple.

I like the way I can use this pedal to control feedback on high gain settings...I do this a lot in my band.

Because of the volume boost, there it's inevitable that it will increase any background noise, but this is the same with any volume boosting pedal...it's not something you can complain about...it's just a fact of life! If it's a really big problem, get some decent pickups or buy a noise reducer pedal!

It's never shown any signs of fault. People don't lie when they say you can hammer in nails with these- you really can!

I'm going to get an adaptor so I don't have to worry about batteries at gigs.

If it ever broke (unlikely) I'd take it to my local guitar shop and pay to get it fixed, like I would with any of my equipment.

For rock, this is THE wah pedal in my opinion.

If it was lost or stolen, it'd piss me off A LOT. It's become kinda vital to how I play!

I LOVE the fact that you don't have you use a switch.

I wish they'd get rid of the pots- they're unnecessary! The switchlessness is the reason for this pedal, with the boost coming in handy now and then.

They are expensive, I wouldn't like to lose too many, but the practicality of the thing makes it worthwhile.

I didn't buy a Bad Horsie because the Crybaby is what everyone uses...I'm a sucker for branding!

In the studio, perhaps the original would be a better choice- more sweep I hear...but since I spend 99 percent of my time playing live, this is the Wah for me!

I totally agree with the users here. The Switchless feature was THE reason I bought this wah. The other features are okay, but this surpasses them all. It is just brainless and even more importantly, I can confidently use the wah for even one phrase at a time without worrying about it being off or not. It is all the difference in the world.

I have gigged with this and had NO problem with the short delay. That is a good feature because you can use the entire scoop of the wah without it switching off when you reach the bottom. The Dunlop guys know what they are doing.

The sound is the usual wah sound. I have an older Crybaby wah and this with the frequency knob all the way up sounds the same as a normal wah. In other words, I think the Q knob just makes the wah more subtle if wanted.

The boost is cool, but for me it is only good on distortion. If you are playing with a clean sound, adding 15db is just too jarring. BUT, that's why the boost switch is on the side. Easily turned off/on with the foot.

Volume boost is usefull to get the volume you want.
Q always dialed up to max. (= best sound I think)

No his or noise, I use it with a Boogie F-30 and a PRS Custom 24.
Incredible for Live Situations. (U step on it, and it goes... Wah!)
Take your foot off, and you are in Bypass Mode. (The delay is very short ! and no problem at all..)

I can depend on it. Use it whithout a backup.

It's a wah pedal, how hard can it be?

I love the way it sounds when I'm playing a clean or overdriven sound. It's a Crybaby and sounds like one.

I've used Dunlop wahs for years, they're very tough. The only thing I think is cheap is the plastic battery cover, those always break on mine and I end up having to put tape over them.

I've tried all the major brands and always come back to Dunlop. I used a 535Q for years, which I loved, then switched to a ZW-45, which I thought sounded a little bit better. Now I have a 95Q because of the switchless design. It comes on automatically when your foot touches it, like a Morley, without the audible "click" you get when you engage other models of Dunlop. Personally I think the various models of Crybaby are only slightly different from one another sonically. It's a matter of opinion as far as brands go, if you like the sound of a Dunlop then you should like the 95Q. I think the 535Q is a little more versatile but the switchless design is a big deal to me, I wish the other Crybabys had this feature. Most Morleys are switchless too but I don't like their sound as much as Dunlops. There's no tone-suck with mine (despite the lack of a true-bypass) but I only have 2 other pieces of gear between the 95Q and my amp.

One note: I've seen reviews saying this wah doesn't cut through or sound vocal enough or whatever. The way this wah (or any wah for that matter) sounds has ALOT to do with how your amp is EQ'ed. Lots of metal players scoop their mids for a heavy rhythm sound, and you need mids to get a wah to have that cool "vocal", expressive sound. I play heavy music and cut out some (not all!) mids for my rhythm sounds too but I have a very different EQ set up for my leads. This makes all the difference in the world when trying to make your solos cut through and getting that cool Slash-kinda wah sound on them. I use a Line 6 PODxt Live to do this, but a simple EQ pedal will do the trick as well. Bottom line, if you can't get your Crybaby to cry, your amp is probably EQ'ed wrong.

I bought it in July of 2004. Pretty easy to use, only problem was knowing when your turning the variable Q and volume which way was which.

With the clean channel this sounds great, you get a nice clean wah sound. I give it a 9.5 on clean.

When you turn on the distortion the pedal is lacking, you just don't get a wah sound. You just lose tone and sound quality as soon as you try soloing with distortion. Don't bother trying to get any response past the 15th fret either as you can barely hear and modualtion. So for distortion I give it 5

Built like a tank. I've really taken care of it so it's in excellent condition.

Overall it is an alright pedal because it's switchless and I got it on special. But I should've saved a little more and gotten a 535Q or a Dimebag signiture wah, which I am getting as soon as I sell this one. I mainly play metal/prog rock now which this thing sucks for so I guess I have learnt from it. If your using it for jazz or funk and with the clean channel I do actually recommend it, it has a good wah sound with clean.

THIS PEDAL IT TERRIBLE WITH DISTORTION

It's a wah with a couple of bonus bits. The only complaint is the small size of the two knobs for the adjustable Q and output boost. It's hard to get to them on a crowded pedal board for changes during a set.

I've played around with other Dunlop WAH's and Vox's etc. Persoanl opinion this is the most flexible WAH I've used, it's stayed on my board for nearly 3 years. It will do anything from vintage to extreme wah aounds depending on how you set the Q control.

I run this as the second effect in chain Boss TU2->Dunlop 95Q->Visual Sound Route66->Zoom Hyperlead->EVH MXR Phase90->Visual Sound H20 into both a Laney VC30 and Rivera KH100.

The sound is awesome!!! I know a few people don't like the switchless feature because the pedal starts at the bottom of the sweep but I prefer it this way (strange I know : ). I play everything from Funk to Rock to Haevy to Blues and this pedal does it all with minimal fuss. Other than having to play with small knobs on dark stages it's great.

Particularly for the 'Porno' wakka wakka funk sound this is the best. Adds nice control for lead work but if you like playing with your Wah set to one spot then you'd have to keep your foot on it as the pedal automatically falls to the bottom of the sweep and turns off when you take your foot off.

I have no issues with noticable cut in or cut out as some people have mentioned.

Hasn't broken yet after 3 years use, had a Morley that died in less than a year (I'm fairly hard on Wah's) but so far so good.

Gret unit but not for everyone, especially if you like your Wah's to start at the top of the sweep.

Very easy to use. Plug it in set a few dials, good sound no matter what. Directions on the bottom of the unit is very handy. Since its switchless, you just step on it and it turns on. Step on it it shuts off.

Use lots of different guitars...mainly bridge humbuckers into this unit into a Carvin X100B and a Marshall slpx. Doesn't really effect tone. The tone of the wah on the other hand...is amazing. i like it better than the Bad Horise.

Never backed it up. Its always been reliable for me.

Never delt with Dunlop.

I play mainly rock (Van halen era) its perfect for metal rock blues...anything that needs a wah. The decible boost is awesome for solos and such...the adjustable Q dial is perfect for finding your perfect wah tone. I owned a 535Q and traded it in for this thing b/c of the switchless and less features...i was tinkering around with the 535Q more than i was playing with it!!

it's a wah, you step on it!

great sound, some hiss but a noise gate should fix that easy. very strong, screaming sweep, use a marshal amp, with ESP V-250 w/EMG pickups marshall amp. You morph into Kirk Hammett when you plug into this pedal. The gain boost is great, and make EMG 81's scream even more.

Dunlop stuff rarely breaks, would use without backup.

play metal, great for solos, and this is an aewsome pedal. Been playing 3 years and have gotten most of solos on master of puppets and Justice for all... down.

Easy to get a good sound out of it.

I'm using this with a solid state and an all tube amp, both Marshalls. It sounds great with both. I love the boost. I think it's 25 dB. You can get some really intense monster tones with this thing. Anyway it's great. I always have the Q and boost on high. This wah doesn't sound as good as my other wahs through a clean amp. Even with the boost on it's lowest setting. However, I don't care because I very seldom play with a clean setting. I have two other wahs for that if I ever need that type of tone. And they are a regular crybaby and a Vox 847. The 95Q has now become my main wah. It's geat for rock. I originally bought it for a friend. But when I tested it out I had to get me one. It was that good! It seemed like it made my guitar solos sing through my amps. It is very smooth for soloing. I guess it's the boost (a great feature!). Two other wahs I'd like to check out are the Crybaby Classic and Vox reissue with the Fasel inductor and the Morley Bad Horsie 2. But I already have three wahs so that will have to wait. I'm very content with what I have. Dunlop makes real good stuff.

I hope I can rely on it. My other two wahs are doing fine so far. I'm not playing out right now. If I gigged I don't think I'd need a backup.

I've never needed a reason to ask for warranty service so far. I have emailed them in the past and they did anwswer.

I play mostly rock. And this thing is great for it. I love the boost! Great idea! I've been playing about 28 years. I'd buy another if I had to. The rocking pedal has more range physically than my other two wahs. I feel this helps me to get more precise control of the tones. It's very musical.

uh, i wrote the previous article.
i have realised that my fix is flawed. Instead of soldering over completely r1, which is actually about 3cms up from the bottom on the right hand side as you look at the pedal with the back off,
just solder a wire from the left hand side of r1, and then attach the other side of your short connecting wire to the right hand side of r22.....otherwise you can hear a slight glitch as the switch is activated and deactivated.
The delay disappears entirely, and the pedal i feel is more usable.

this pedal is very easy to use, just put the leads in the right sockets...
I got rid of that extremely annoying delay problem these pedals have.
what i did was i pulled the cover off the back and i soldered a wire from the resistor called r1 (which is located at the bottom of the pedal as you look at it with the cover off), and joined it to the right hand side of the resistor called r22(again as you look at the pedal with the back cover off.) r22 is located underneath the boost switch. there was no need to take the circuit board out of the casing.
please note that i soldered r1 totally over, that is, i bypassed it.
although i only soldered the wire to the right hand side of r22.
this pedal now has no delay whatsoever, and sounds like it should of in the first place.
the writing on the board is very small, and you have to be careful when you solder.
I recommend this procedure to everyone.

The sound of this pedal is very cool indeed. No-one is going to become an instant guitar hero god just by getting one of these, but it will enable you to write some cool music, and cover other peoples music well enough.
The pedal does have some digital hiss ( i assure you guys that this is a digital pedal).

this pedal could be used as an anchor, or an anvil.
This pedal is heavy, but inside there are some mini switches that will die one day.
I suggest that the pot is a good quality item but it too will die.

I suggest the company does not like people like me who tamper with their product.
I would never have tampered with it if they got it right themselves.

i play any crazy stuff that i can think of. i love writing stuff of my own. this pedal is good for that kind of thing.

If it were lost or stolen i would use my dunlop 105q.(it works great for guitar, beefier..)

It's very easy.

I use a Les Paul standard plugged into this wah>v-stack>decimator>marshall 1987x. I use this wah with distortion. I have the volume and Q settings at maximum and the boost on. Being switchless makes it easy to add at any point in the song.
Some people have made the complaint that the bass area of the footpedal is not usable because the pedal cuts itself off. This is true but I am one of the people who likes a wah pedal to scream when all the waydown and add mids when its about halfway. The 95Q does this well. I use it mainly for solos. For funk and r & b stuff this may be too harsh.

I think everyone knows about the lifespan of dunlop wahs.

I also use a Bad Horsie sometimes. It is smoother sounding and has more travel. I kept hearing loose parts inside so I took it apart. The pedal is attached with 4 little tiny screws and the nuts fell off due to my aggressive wah use. I put'em back on but a week later they fell off again. The way they are placed under the pedal makes it very hard to tighten them. Also the circuit board is connected to these little bolts . I was afraid I might crack it if I tightened up the nuts too much. Now it doesn't work at all.
Here are the other wahs I've owned- Fireball Snarling Dog wah, a standard Crybaby, Chicago Parachute wah, Morley contour wah, Morley Black gold wah, Electro Harmonix wah, a Teese rmc 1 and a Teese wizard wah. I may move up to a Fulltone clyde 2 or A silvermachine. For ease of use and price the 95Q is neck and neck with the Bad Horsie. I play rock!

This pedal is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! It's got really sweet sounds. I haven't used any other wah pedal before. This is my first. I just got it today. The sound is awesome. It's good for anything from classic rock to metal. I like that it's switches. This is just my opinion.

The only reason I give it a 9 is because it makes noise when the pedal is in use with distrotion, but you probably get it out with noise gate or something because the noise is not that bad. I have an epiphone les paul junior and an epiphone SG special. My guitars run into my danelectro talk box (sweet pedal!!!)to my crybaby 95Q wah, to my danelectro milkshake chorus, to my danelectro hash browns flanger, then my danelectro PB&J delay. Then I go into a marshall mg10cd or my zoom fire-15. I can get pretty much any sound. Classic rock to metal. The effect is very good.

I definitely would use it at a gig without a backup. I can depend on it.

I play everything classical to metal. However my music turns out to be metal mixed with classic rock and some southern rock. This is a REALLY good match. I have been playing for about 3 or 4 years. I would probably buy a new one if it were lost or stolen unless I found something else I like better. I love everything about this pedal. I just hate the mostly subtle noise that it makes. I love the Q control and the knob and the boost switch. I really love the switchless design (it rocks!!!!). I went to a SAM ASH and tried a Boss V-wah and then this one. I tried this out and just bought it. I wish you could make it sweep a bit more. It really gives me a boost to my solos and even some rythm guitars. This pedal is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Put your foot on it, it turns on. Take your foot off it, it turns off.

I run a 2001 American Deluxe Fat Strat into two 25 watt Roland 405 amplifiers with a 12 inch celection vintage 30 extension cabinet under each 405. My signal path is a Samson AP1 U.H F. Receiver, Boss TU-2 tuner, Dunlop 95Q, Korg volume pedal, Boss BD-2 blues driver into the amplifier input. Through the serial effects loop are connected a Boss HR-2 harmonizer, Boss CE-5 chorus ensemble, Boss NS-2 noise suppressor, into a Boss RV-3 stereo reverb/delay which is then split into stereo and then connected back to each of the 405's effects return. Both amp A and amp B are controlled by the pre amp of amp A when using this signal path. The 95-Q is a vital componant of my stage rig and is used frequently to recreate sounds made famous by guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix and others. Our band plays classic rock from the 50's through today. With this set up, I am able to emulate the sounds Stevie Ray, Clapton, Keith Richards, Jimmy Page, Pete Townsend, Joe Perry, Rick Derringer, and many other guitar greats who played on many of the million selling classic rock hits we include in our repertoire.

This is my second 95-Q. My other one had a problem with the shut-off switch not alway activating when I removed my foot. I used it for over 3 years playing 50 to 75 gigs per year without incident until this past weekend when the on/off switch just stopped functioning.

The card that came in the box with my new 95-Q says 1 year warrenty. The other one can probably be repaired.

The 95-Q is still my favorite wah. I retired a Morley wah/volume several years ago because it was awkward to turn on and off. I didn't like having the wah and volume pedal combined in one unit either. I've been playing guitar for 35 years in various ensembles since I was a teenager. I would replace it again if it were lost or stolen or broken. I especially like the variable boost function and the overall ease of use. It's right there when I need it, and it's not when I don't. Over the years, I've had amps blow up, speakers burn out, cords short out, fuses blow, frets wear out, tubes fry, you name it. I can now add wearing out a wah-wah to my resume.

It's a Wah... How hard can it be? Just read the few lines about the two controllers on the left side and the button on the right, and youre in!

Ibanez rg 560 to wah to delay to amp.(Marshall or Peavey practice amp.) It sound great no matter what! Its just what I need! And I must have tested at least 10 other types before i found myself content with this one. Its absolutely marvellous that you can vary the amount of "wah" with one of the pots!( I always have it on full) This way you get everything from subtle changes to extreme quacking and wailing!The volume boost is great to have also, since I feel that i need a few dB extra when using the wah. This is because i find the wah signal a bit quiet in the lower freq. area. when the heel is almost pressed all the way down. I can get That wailing Kirk Hammet sound with this. Although, its not that easy to obtain Jimi Hendrix sounds. The noise I have not noticed.

Dependable and solid. Although I tend to worry about dust, moisture, and the loosening of screws, and that the spring will slacken. I use it without a backup.

I play experimental melodic hard rock. I use it much, and with great results. Great match! I would certainly want to replace it if it were stolen, but I think that its a bit to expensive. I would have to think twice. I love everything, its a great wah!Some would argue that the auto-off function is a drawback, but it just takes a little while to getting accustomed to it. I think its great, I can finally choose to only use it on single notes in the middle of a song without worrying that I wont be able to turn it off. And if you want to use it as a filter, just put something in between the unit and the pedal.

Yes, using this pedal, as with all wah-wah pedals, requires no explaination. So simple even an "idiot" could use it. In fact, only an idiot would.

The only way this pedal could be considered "perfectly quiet" would be if the user has spent too many years in front of loud amplification and said user's hearing is a bit shot.

I've heard a story where, for some reason, after a gig, someone threw their 95Q against a wall and after that, it still worked. First, I know the reason. Second, I believe the fact that it continued to work cannot be considered a plus.

I also hear that one can have adjusted the annoying delay which occurs when trying to turn the pedal on. All one has to do is incur the cost of shipping the pedal to the manufacturer. This begs the question: Why wasn't this properly adjusted before it was put on the shelf to be sold?

I've been playing music for too many years. It never pays much, but that's ok...my girlfriend has a good job, with medical benefits. Shame...if I want to get my teeth fixed, I'll have to marry her.

Man what an easy Wah to play. It has great sweep range and unlike the idiot before me this thing has a tremendous amount of Wah range. I have used mine now for over a year and knew exactly how to operate it when I took it out of the box. What is not to understand? After you plug the pedal in you step on the rocker top and Wala you have Wah action. Do not understand how the idiot (who posted before me) could not understand the ease of use of this pedal. By the way the side "Q" and Volume controls add more depth to you sound.

This thing is perfectly quiet for my use. I feel it is much quieter than the standard Crybaby (I would know I own 2 of them)

Had it for over a year and play with it 5 out of 7 days each week with no problems. I have a friend who got drunk one night after a gig and for some reason picked up his 95Q and threw it. It hit the wall and bounced off the floor and other than some minor scratches to the the pedal worked perfectly for him the next day. Can you say built like a TANK?

Dunlop is cool! Shortly after buying my 95Q I found out that it could be modified to lessen the delay feature on it I called the company spoke to one of the Techs and they told me if I send the pedal in at my cost the would do the modification and send the pedal back to me for FREE. It took 2 weeks but it was well worth the wait. Over the years I have owned pedal from Boss, DOD, Roland and even DanElectro and have never received this kind of customer support from any of these Companies. Dunlop Rules!!!!

I have been playing music now for 15 years. In fact it is my job and I would have to rate this pedal as one of the best I have ever owned. I do not do digital so I have no comment on that CRAP! But this is the only Wah pedal on my board. If it last as long as my 2 Crybaby's (5 and 6 years) I will be extremely happy.

Wah Wah What's To Tell?

A Wah Wah Pedal which doesn't actually go wah...
Despite the fact that this wah has a "variable Q" adjustment (sweep adjustment for bass/treble range), it seems to reach no extreme on either end. This wah just doesn't talk. As I have said before, no wah to be had here.

Instead of an off/on switch, the effect is turned off when pedal is in up (bass) position. As it is , the pedal doesn't have much bottom end and one is prone to avoid bringing the pedal to the uppermost sweep (most bass) in order to avoid turning it off (even though there is some sort of "turn-off" delay built in which is supposed to keep this from happening). Maybe someone can tell me if one can adjust the treadle on the pot (to change sweep range) or does this method of turning the wah on and off negate that option?

This pedal has a boost switch and knob to adjust the amount of boost (accomodating for drop in signal when wah is on) but, who cares? Why bother boosting its pathetic effect?

Haven't had it long enough to tell. Seems sturdy. Will probably continue putting out its anemic performance for someone's lifetime.

Why bother? Just throw it in the trash.

If you're looking for a wah wah pedal, in my opinion, look elsewhere.
