the ltd edition is a cool storm trooper white and has a battery compartment (no need to unscrew the base and damage the workings like on the standard)

I would like a status led and maybe a volume like on the morly bad horsie but for #100 less that the morly i can put up.

Although i might prefer the morely method of just stepping on it to turn it on and stepping off to bypass, tapping the toe is not a difficult feat. It has a gread range and gives a classic early nineties punk rock distortion when left all the way foreward.

Sound Quality : 8
I use it with my gibson lp double cut pro and a 50 watt marshall combo. I think it sounds great...can't really get that famous jimi hendrix voodoo chile sound but i think that has more to do with the guitar's tone. It is a little noisy when rocking it back and forth for pick strokes, but otherwise sounds great.

Reliability : 8
It is built like a sherman tank...and it's weight reflects it. I feel like I could never break it. The only thing with these dunlops is that after a great deal of use the tone pots get fuzzy and you nead to replace them...however the extra 8 bucks is worh it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with them.

I have been playing for about 5 years and play everything from jazz to punk rock to blues, but mostly ska. This wah is just great for the type of sound like on the intro to "Why Can't We Be Friends?", by smashmouth. I think if it were stolen, i would check out a morely but would definately be comfortable buying another crybaby. One of the coolest features about this is it's cream color...like the bass crybabys. It looks great and sounds even better. An overall great product.

This pedal is the basic wah. But it still has the great wah sound. The manual for the pedal isn't really much help. If you don't know how to change the battery, this will be a great help. But I do wish it had the auto-switch on like the Morley Bad Horsi.

Sound Quality : 10
The sound quality it great!! IT isn't really noisy, just with a lot of gain. My setup, currently, is Crybaby Limited Edition Wah-> Digitech XP-100-> Boss DS-1 Dist.-> Boss BF-2 Flanger-> Danelectro Dan-O-Matic Tuner. It is a great pedal in a effect chain. But, put thw wah before the distortion unit!!

Reliability : 10
This pedal is a tank. I can put all my weight on it, and it's still ok!! Great Quality!!

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal w/ them.

Overall Rating : 9
This pedal overall is a great buy. It can be used anyway you want. But I wish that it could be like the Morley Bad Horsie Wah with the auto-switch on!!! I love that feature. But, if you got 90.00 bucks, buy this pedal.

In theory this pedal is extremly easy to use, in practice... well, you need prictice to sound good. There's no knobs to turn or switchs to flick. It doesn't take very long to learn how to get the right sounds out of it. I can get great Eiric Clapton sounds from it and just about anything else. The instruction bool doesn't do much good, but since it's so easy to use it doesn't really matter. The only thing they show you is how Jimi Hedrix put the Crybaby in his line-up. This is after that fuzz box, I use if after my DS-1.

Sound Quality : 9
I'm using this pedal through a cheap epiphone and harmony strat copy into a fender champion 110 amp. I have a BOSS DS-1 and an arion flanger on each end with the crybaby in the middle. It's not to noisey, there's a slight hissing sound when you're not playing but it's not a problem. It has a nice strong wah sound clean and a slightly weaker but very good sound distorted. I bought the limited edition because it was only ten dollars more then the origanal. It has the hotter "hot potz" pot, a purple casing and a battery cover on the bottom so you don't have to unscrew the whole bottom.

Reliability : 10
This pedal is very solid. It's made of very hard metal casing and feels as hevy as lead. I would not have a problem with using it on a gig without a backup.

Customer Support : 8
It has a warrenty but I'm not sure how long it's good for. They have a web site so that may be helpful. They also have sound samples of all of their pedals.

Overall Rating : 9
I play rock and bluesy stuff and this pedal is great. To me this sounds like the classic wah sound. This is the basic wah pedal. I've been playing for almost four years and this is my first wah pedal. I love how easy it is to use and it makes such great sound. It really adds to my solos, my favorite trick is to leave it in one position to boost my signal. Keep in mind that a wah it really a lot like an active tone pot. You can put the pedal in one place and really chance your tone. Then when you want you just rock it back and forth to make it wah. Over all, this is a great pedal and if you're looking for a basic wah this might be it. I also tried the original crybaby and it sounded good too. It waas slightly more abrupt and you have to tale the bootom plate off to change the battert. If it were stolen I would buy it again because it's so great. If it weren't on sale thught I wouldn't buy it because the regular $99 price seems too high. Overall it's a really great pedal.
