It's a wah wah. If you don't know how to use it, you dont have any brain! Just plug in and play!

Sound Quality : 9
It is not very noisy as some people say. Before I bought my wah wah I read the user-comments on this page. Some people said that it was very noisy, but I don't agree with them. I use it in my heavy-metal- solos and it is doing perfect.

Reliability : 9
This is a really good product! There is nothing more to say!

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have never dealt with the company, so I don't know if they are helpful or stupid.

Overall Rating : 9
I would buy it again! I like the "Jimi Hendrix"-sound. It has everything a wah wah has to have. I don't use it when I make songs, but I use it in my solos. At last: HEAVY METAL IS THE LAW!!!!

I don't think this needs an explanation!

Sound Quality : 10
On high gain setups it can be noisy as feck, mainly due to the fact that it'll boost your signal enuff to open your noise gate. Of course, if you put it after your gate, then you won't have this problem. The old debate about whether the wah should go in front or behind the distortion... I put it in front 'cause it gives a slightly better sound... either way it's killer. Definitely the best sounding wah ever...

Reliability : 8
Well, a few months ago, one of the transistors (?) in it blew up and I had to get a new one soldered on which cost me 5 quid. And now my pot is scratchy so I'll have to replace it. But then, you have to expect some electrical wear and tear after almost five years. Mechanically, imagine walking across the room in your bare feet and kicking a Panzer tank with your little toe. That's what this pedal feels like when you're stumbling about in the dark, blind drunk... :) You don't need a backup for a wah... a spare battery perhaps...

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to.

Overall Rating : 10
I'm actually considering buying a new one just 'cause my current one is having problems... I opened it up and made it worse - brute force and ignorance are not good where delicate components are concerned... ;) I have a wah on my RP-12 but the sound just doesn't compare to the crybaby. I might be forced to use it though until I get either a new pot or a whole new pedal... :( If you're not up to much when it comes to soloing, you can use this pedal as a crutch - basically, it helps you play more expressively which can give you fresh ideas... and if you open it wide, it kinda hides your playing a bit more for tricky parts you know you can;t play right! :) Don't go playing the full "Symphony of Destruction" solo with your wah pedal open though... people will get suspicious.
Anyways, enuff about that... ;)

Ease of Use : 9
Very easy to use - on/off and pedal up or down. The on/off button used to stick on mine a bit but it grew out of it.

Sound Quality : 7
Nice and quiet if used clean, but as with most effects can get quite hissy with lots of gain. Selective use of the pedal (eg. only during solos) solves this problem.

Reliability : 8
Made of nice thick coated metal. Would probably stand up to anything. Mine has occasionally picked up radio signals but this was cured by cleaning the jack contacts.

Customer Support : No Opinion
None ever needed.

Overall Rating : 9
I would definitely buy another one if I needed to. Some people complain about replacing the battery being a hassle, but it isn't really that much of a problem - it goes to make it as sturdy a design as possible. An on/off light would be useful, but again it would be something that could break easily. Crybabys are great pedals and I'd recommend one to anybody.

Duh. If you don't get it, sell your guitar and take up some other hobby.

Sound Quality : 8
Pretty good sound. I've heard the pot gets scratchy, but this hasn't happened to me yet. If you don't like the range, adjust it by disengauging the gear system and turning it a few cogs. Read the wah faq here if you don't understand. Also wish it had a true bypass, cause even when it's in bypass, it drags down the level and the high end a bit.

Reliability : 9
Seems pretty sturdy. I would gig it w/o a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I never had to deal with the company, but the manual and everythin makes it seem like they'd be pretty godd at helping to solve your problem.

Overall Rating : 9
I'd probably buy it again, although I'd check out the budda and vox wahs too if I had the cash. Very good wah for the money. Wish it had a true bypass.

It's a wah-wah, jackass! No knobs, just rock it back and forth.

Sound Quality : 7
The trebble is really harsh... but it can be great for nailing that Husker Du sound. The bass is reel muddy. But still better that any auto-wah.

Reliability : 10
Arceologists will dig these up in 2000 years and they'll still work fine

haven't talked to them yet...

over all: great for the price, but a VOX would be better, and way more $$$

Hmm, pretty simple basically, like any other pedal... except when changing batteries. I hate having to use a screwdriver.

Sound Quality : 8
Very nice sound quality here, except when I turn it up all trebly, it scares the shit outta my cat. It's kinda hard on the ears when the treble is like that.

Reliability : 7
Damn, here's where I'm dissapointed... see, the thing goes on maybe 1-3 times when you step on it, especially when you're sitting down and practicing. As far as its packaging? JEEZ, I can throw this thing off the empire state building and the worst that could happen is that i'd lose one of those rubber feet on the bottom.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Nope, I don't think i'll need it

Overall Rating : 9
The Vox was 2 times the price. Overall, I'm very happy, except when sitting down and practicing... because the damn thing won't go on. If I had enough money- next time the VOX... otherwise I am very satisfied.

Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use, as is almost all wah pedals.

Sound Quality : 9
Great sounding wah. I've only used auto-wah pedals before and sound much better. Somewhat noisy closed but not the bad open. You can get a Hendrix tone by putting a fuzz box in front of it. I prefer the wah in front of the distorion, myself.

Reliability : 10
Mine is an older one(7 yrs old) and I've had no problems yet.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never delt with them.

Overall Rating : 9
This is great wah pedal. It's better than any auto-wah pedal I've used. Altough if mine ever broke down I'd buy a Crybaby 535 instead.

How hard can a wah pedal be? All that I know is it's stable and can really crank out the sound!

Sound Quality : 10
The wah moves smooth and strong. You can pull out any wah sound.

Reliability : 10
This thing is tough! The pedal is made with steel and a thick, ribbed rubber pad. No chance of this thing quiting unless you throw it in lava!

Overall Rating : 10
Though there are more expencive and louder wah pedals out there, this guy suits me great. It was worth every penny.

Very easy to use.The manual is a bit misleading in one way:it suggests that you put the pedal after the distortion.I did that and I was VERY dissappointed. Finally I put it before the distortion and it was OK

Sound Quality : 10
It is not noisy and it has a true bypass, unlike somebody else said.I also think the treble end is too treble, but that can be arranged. It's the only wah pedal that I've used so I can't compare it with anything else but to me it sounds great. If you use it with a clean guitar it's amazing. If you want to use it with a distortion take my advice:put it BEFORE the distortion.

Reliability : 10
Something that heavy is VERY dependable.I wouldn't have money to buy a backup.I think battery life is very good since mine works great even with a 3 volts ac adapter

Overall Rating : 10
Buying a wah was my dream. All my favorite guitarists use it(Hendrix).I love to use it for squealing feedbacks and noisy solos(the way Hendrix did) so it means it really helps me make "music".I would buy it again, especially knowing it is one of the best of it's kind,so why go for anything lower?

Simple. Step on it. Move foot.

Sound Quality : 7
Very noisy, especially with toe down (treble). I think in general it's a little trebly. But when it's in its zone, it's a wonderful noise it makes.

Reliability : 10
Solid. NO problems

I wish it weren't so noisy, but on the other hand, it was actually less noisy than other wah pedals I tried out. Morley especially was full of hiss and didn't offer the same range. I suspect that if its range were made less trebly it might also be less noisy.
