Its a wah. What more do I have to say?

Sound Quality : 8
It sounds much better behind the distortion. My only problem is when using it as a filter. Too damn bright!

Reliability : 10
Its a brick, dum-dum, house!

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never had a problem. period.

Overall Rating : 10
I would definately buy another if mine ever died. I might get the 535 just for some extra features. It's a classic, man.

instrument in, amp out... the sound lies in the hands of your feet

this is the all-time classic--- I have owned my current Crybaby for 2 1/2 years. It has been used 2-3 nites a week in this time period. Plus, I play lots of funk! This is a workhorse that has been at every gig and PUT OUT every time!

Customer Support : No Opinion
no dealings, yet

Overall Rating : 10
this is a 10... the definitive funk, soul, rock n' roll machine! plug a mike into it, even, and play trumpet like Miles Davis!

This is one of the easiest pedals to use. Cool tones too.

Sound Quality : 7
When I'm not amplified loudly mine squeaks.

Reliability : 10
This baby is bullet-proof. It's an ox. Nothing will break it.

Customer Support : 10
I never have called them.

Overall Rating : 9
I'd buy it again. I love it all. This is the only wah I've used, so no comparisons. I wish it could produce harmonics, too. It helps to make music. Mine gets stuck sort of, anybody know of a way to grease it up and make it less sticky?

Basic wah pedal. Stomp it on, stomp it off. Toe down treble, toe up bass.

Sound Quality : 9
It's noisy- it's a wah! If you like wah, you'll like cry baby. To me the difference between the crybaby and other wah (eg. vox) is not so much in the sound, but in how it feels. The crybaby's rubber padding sometimes makes it feel like you're not connected to it somehow. But the Vox pedal seems out of control to me. This is one effect where your foot my be a better judge than your head. Overall sound-- do you like wah? If so, it's fine, if not don't buy. If you REALLY like wah, you probably have an opinion as to best wah pedal already.

Reliability : 10
Pots get scratchy-as everyone knows. But other than that, its real sturdy

never dealt with company

There's an easy way to modify you're wah, if you think it gets too trebly or bassy. Open the bottom. Theres a plastic stick with teeth on it that reacts with a plastic white gear. Rock, the wah and watch which parts move if you don't know what I'm talking about. All you have to do is pull the gear apart from the stick, and turn it a one way or the other. This will give adjust the pot (gear turns the pot), so that when you wah, you'll be effecting either lower or higher frequencies. Don't make the mistake that I did. Figure out a way to mark the original settings. And remember to pull the F%$&@ cord out of the jack. I've lost a ton of batteries this way.

i find its a little noisy. The effect is great, providing that you set up your eq to accomodate it,i have always found i have had to compromise my amps tone to get the effect i want out of it

Reliability : 10
its rugged and takes licks...i would use it without backup

The toggle on/off switch was a bit hard to push on mine

Sound Quality : 8
On other amps that I heard, it sounded great. But on my amp, with my other effects, it produced a really high pitched squeal when turned on. This squeal changed in pitch when I pushed the pedal back and forth. I suspect it may have something to do with either my amp or my other effects. I own a Fender Bronco amp, with a Boss MT-2 and a DigiTech RP-5. A friend said that it had something to do with the input and output cords being plugged in the wrong way, but I had them plugged in correctly.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I eventually sold it to a friend, who said that it sounded great on his amp. I don't know what was wrong with my setup.

CLICK ... WohwChuhWahwChickaWahwahw......pretty simple...

Great sound quality. Bought this thing when I was going through my Soundgarden phase and it didn't let me down. Now I use it endlessly in my jam band. Clean + wah=funky. Distorted+wah=psycho. I love this thing. some of the best 60 bucks I ever spent. Great when you're feeding back. Put it up right next to your amp and work the pedal back and forth... it's all WWEEEWEWEEEWOOWOWOWOOOOOOOWEEEEE!!!! And as far as I'm concerned, picking up radio stations is a plus. I love spontaneous and weird things coming out of my guitar.

Reliability : 10
Great. It sips batteries. Maybe one every two months. Maybe.

Overall Rating : 10
Love it.

Pretty simple to use. Press down to toggle on and off. Toe down is Treble and toe up is bass.

Sound Quality : 7
It sounds pretty good. A little staticy when sweeping.

Reliability : 9
I've had it for a few months now with now problems and it is a few years old.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I don't know because I have not yet had a problem.

Overall Rating : 9
I would definitely buy it again. I like it better than the Vox because Voxs are more basey( at least the one I tried). The Cry Baby is also much less expensive.

Forrest Gump and Dan Quayle and a couple of monkeys could figure this out if they put their minds to it.

Sound Quality : 7
When I have my amp (Crate) gain maxed, it gives the sound a high background pitch; you'd really have to hear it to understand. It also takes a lot of the distortion off.

Reliability : 10
Like a rock. Like your grandma's bra. Industrial.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I never had to talk to them.

Overall Rating : 9
I don't know if I would buy it again. I am not really a solo person; I kind of bought in on impulse. I was about to return it, but I decided to keep it incase I needed it one day. But for someone looking for a good pedal, this is it. I have never heard a Vox though.

Rock your foot-forward for treble, backward for bass. Now try it faster and you get the "WAH-WAH" sound. I know it sounds tough but it is really very simple

Sound Quality : 8
With WAH mode switched off it sounds crytsal clear. However in WAH mode I pick up a Christian radio station when I turn my guitar volume down. That's really not a problem, though, since I always play with the volume cranked.

Reliability : 10
It's never failed me. I had a generic WAH that worked maybe one out of 5 times you stepped on it but the Crybaby works flawlessly every time.

Overall Rating : 9
I'd definitley buy this again, it works awesome for solos. Like I said it beats the other WAH I had day and fucking night. I would however like to see some on off LEDs and a seperate battery compartment so the board wouldn't get thrashed if it leaked. With the gain maxed out on my Crate's lead channel this WAH will let you get away with murder, hell even I sound good. I like to use it to accent my high bends in solos. It can give you a lot more impact.
