Push it down - get the treble to come out. Open it - you have the bass. Push it down until it clicks - Toggle it on/off. It doesn't get much easier than this...

Mine's developed static when i go from bass to treble over the few months that I've had it. It has a nice, easy to notice sound, though.

It eats batteries like crazy, and I've heard *way* too many horror stories about this thing to use it without a backup.

It has a good price, nice sound, and despite a few problems, it's, in my opinion, the best way to get that classic disco sound. :)

I give it a nine. Not much simpler than this, let me tell you. Just click and go. You can leave it set at one position for a great tone filter. This is the original from whence came the Dunlop re-issue. The one I picked up was used, so its sweep range was very smooth.

There is a certain amount of noise that can be expected from any vintage effect. But the Cry-baby is very quiet, both in a quieter jazz setting or a high gain set-up. The wah itself is human sounding, with a metered peak and a lot of power. I'd say it beats those re-issues by a few squares.

This pedal is one of the more reliable I've played with. It does't eat up batteries, and, as long as you unplug it between uses, it keeps those that you use relatively fresh. As for using it at a gig, I've done so many times, all without a backup(for the most part because I didn't have one) and it has never let me down.

One of the best buys out there. A very useful tool. If you can find one, do yourself a favor and pick it up.
