Every knob on it says what it does... I don't find it difficult. The are some presets in the manual, if you want exact corrections (like songs of Dimebag).

Sound Quality : 9
Well... It does suck some tone, even if it's off, but... It works pretty fine with me :) .

It's got a lot of range and I think this is the wah for a distorted sound.

But may be this is not the wah for you, if you wanna play funk...

Reliability : 10
Got it for a year. Still no problem with it :) . I use all the time!!! Even when I'm not supposed to...

Customer Support : No Opinion
I don't know... I hope I won't need that...

Overall Rating : 10
It's all I need.
In my opinion (as I said) it's not good for funk or similar styles.

Just got to play around with everything until you find what you are after.

Sound Quality : 10
Love it, sounds great. I have been playing 40+ years and finally found something new that I like better than anything I had in the 70's (and I had them all).

Reliability : No Opinion
Seems solid like most Crybaby's. Hopefully the pots stay noise free over the long haul

No idea.

Overall Rating : 10
I play all kinds of music. Well OK...anything from 60's to early 2000's. Not much metal, all things rock.
I really love the adjust ability of things, I've never had a wah that was exactly how I wanted it to sound...this one has the flexibility to find the exact sound your after.
As good as many of the boutique pedals out there as far as actual sound, for a lot less money.

i've had many wahs, i currently have this, the wylde, and a vintage crybaby from the 70's

Reliability : 4
i'm a little pissed as i've had this a little less than a year, taken great care of it...and the boost button that i used to just be able to tap don't activate as easily as it should...bummer for 150 bucks

Customer Support : 1
worthless now....too big of a company to offer any service or help

Overall Rating : No Opinion
good product, i've had numerous wahs in the past including bad horsie, hiwatt, boss modeling wah, several snarling dogs, vox new and old..... great sound, sweep, love it with touch of od or full blown distortion...the switch thing makes me a little mad

It's so easy to get the sound you want out of this wah pedal. There are small black dials on the left-side of the pedal, you can use these to tailor your tone and control how much the wah effect enters the soundscape, and also one dial to control the level of the volume-boost effect.

Personally I roll everything up to "10".

I've been using this pedal for 6 months now and I've never accidentally knocked the dials or boost button.

Sound Quality : 10
I use an Ibanez RG321MH and Boss ML-2 distortion and Boss NS-2 Noise-suppressor. The wah did induce a little feedback, but I got the NS-2 and that's sorted out now. I usually roll the frequency dial all the way down to get the thickest widest wah, it's still easily audible wah for low to middle range playing, and when I get up to the high end of the neck, the wah filters out the "ice-pick" sharpness and smooths out the tone. High doesn't have to be like a hot needle in your ears anymore. I play a lot of Satriani/Vai/Petrucci style music and this pedal covers all of those, hands down.

Reliability : 10
Looks like a tank. Built like a tank. Smells like a tank.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them

Overall Rating : 10
I play a lot of mmmmmmetal and even though that's what it was built for, it easily sticks it's fingers into almost every other genre and hit's the spot.

I've been playing 3 and a half years, and I love everything about it. It's reliable, it sounds great and it's the sexiest pedal I have!

I used to have a Behringer "Hellbabe", I thought that was wah until it broke, then I bought this and I realised everything I'd been missing out on.

When I'm writing a song and can't think of where to go next, I go crazy with the wah and doors open up for me. This thing totally owns. BUY ONE!

I used to have an original crybaby some years ago, and i remember it being a 'good' overall wah and i was happy with the sound...good range etc. The DB-01 Dimebag Crybaby from Hell is an AMAZING wah. My only complaint is that it may be TOO versatile... it's taking me more than a few minutes to dial in my 'dream' sound. The adjustable volume boost is great and a much needed addition to any wah. The Q control, fine-tuning and rotary knob(for range) are harder to balance amongst themselves. I'm finding either my lower chords or my leads aren't 'wahed' enough; i haven't found that perfect middle ground yet. BUT what sweet tones this thing can produce. Could be very aggressive or buttery smooth, when tweaked.

Sound Quality : 10
ESP and Schecter 7-strings --INTO-- ISP Decimator(noise gate) --INTO-- Crate 3500 shockwave (wah in effects loop)

I am very fussy with noise issues, and this thing(amazingly not true-bypass) is quiet and doesn't alter my tone one bit. Other amps may experience some noise etc but I don't even know it's there when in bypass, and that's a great thing.

Just don't adjust the rotary knob with the amp on. I got LOUD popping. like speaker-popping loud.

They should use these tanks in Iraq. Bulletproof.

Didn't get a manual with it being used, but PDF manual is on website(good thing). Never had to contact customer service otherwise.

Overall Rating : 9
I play low tuned metal with both a classic and thrashy distortion, and this sounds great with both tones. Buttery and orgasmic in my clean channel when EQ'd right. Again my only complaint is dialing in a good 'middle ground' sound for both leads and rhythms.

Pretty easy.....although you really have to stomp down hard sometimes to turn it on.

Sound Quality : 8
Has a nice wide range...and the selectable settings are nice.

Reliability : 3
the boost switch broke before I even plugged it in. purchased brand new, and was inspecting all the knobs/switches. When I pressed the boost knob....it busted....and pushed all the way into the pedal. not real impressed by the quality of that switch....and had me wondering about the overall quality and reliablity of the pedal

Customer Support : 4
called dunlop about the broken switch - got hold of a representative immediately (which was nice). they didn't really want to help me though....told me to call the retailer where I purchased it from.

When it came out of the box I did have to do some reading from the manual to understand what all the little knobs did and what were all the parameters were for the sweep control. Hell still I have to sit down and tweak the pedal to my tastes, I've just been really lazy. The manual defiantly comes in handy, don't throw that shit out!

Sound Quality : 9
My setup is: Krankenstein Head
Marshall Valvestate 4x12 Cab
Gibson Studio Les Paul with JB in bridge

You can defiantly get the Dimebag in your face wah sound out of this. But that ain't its only good use, it serves as a versatile wah that isn't in a expensive rack mount form. I love the heel switch to boost the gain. It gives you a great cat screech sound. I've played many wahs and this one tops it. Many array of classic to modern wah tones. What really bothers me is how this pedal, and most of Dunlop's pedals don't have true bypass. It does alter the tone ever so slightly since the crybaby from hell is a buffered bypass. Maxon makes all their effects with True Bypass why can't the great Jim Dunlop...........

Reliability : 10
I defiantly could depend on it. I rough my pedal up like hell and this one has served me for 4 months with absolutely no problem. My last wah lasted that long before I killed the switch. Would i gig without one? Yes, only because I could make do without one if it did break.

Customer Support : No Opinion

I play Metal to Classic Rock to Blues and this is a MATCH. I love how this thing is built like a tank, the skateboard griptape, the heel switch, the camo casing, the cowboys from hell logo. Great pedal, Great Tone. Go out to your local music store, and Try and Buy this thing.

These guys like to make things complicated
but I like fiddling around with gear, but still a little crazy with the knobs.

Sound Quality : 10
here's where this pedal rocks, yeah and it doesn't suck tone
you just got to tweak it, could take you a couple of weeks before you realize what sounds best. I like in your face nastiness and the dimebag delivers, and yes I tried the Zakk before purchasing, I also own the original crybaby which is still a wah , the boost also works great.
I've got a major ass set up and I have no issues with this pedal at all

Reliability : 8
I've had it for a year now , no issues so I'll give it an 8 , just way too many knobs

Customer Support : No Opinion
not dealt with them

Overall Rating : 9
costs a little more than some other wahs, but it rocks
been playing for 15 years. just don't like too many knobs, but it can really wail when you get the right setting, awesome for clean as well

Ive had this pedal for 6mo and the ease was diff to figure out at first but the sound and training the ear to it helps the real problem is it has static when pedal is rocked up and down very very annoying i have to send it in to be repaired. anotherwards when you rock it you can hear the rocks in static i have had to quit playing live with it becouse it makes me sound very cheap but we all know this pedal was not cheap. morley bad horsey lasted for 2 years 2hrs a day and 4-6 hrs on fri sat nites sorry dime and dunlop but love ya anyway. im sure ill be taken care of through the warranty.
