This is my first wah (though Ive played them before) and I wanted nothing but the best. Saw the ad, tried it, brought it home. I thought it was gonna be a pain to get some good tones, but not at all!Out of the box, it was easy to setup and use. Tweaking it isnt bad, but with the fine tune control and the "Q" dial, its hard to get perfect right away. All in all, very easy to use

Sound Quality : 10
This is this best part of the wah...it is so clean and transparent when its off, and isnt overly noisy when its on. I use a cheap peavy rage 108 (hell yeah!!) straight through the wah, and it sounds pretty good. I havent had a problem with it yet. This is the best wah i have ever heard! With the sweep on it widest range, it reminds me most of Zakk Wylde (punched in sort of wah sound, like the fast solo/tapping sound ending in the new "Gets me Through" song) and (of course) Dimbag....even like Jon Petrucci on the new Dream Theater Album "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" song "Great Debate". This wah sounds huge! My friend owns a Mesa Single Rectoverb w/4x12 and a Cyber Twin, so im interested to hear what this sounds like with a pro quality amp. DETAILS: Sweep fine adjustment is easy to use, as with the "Q" control. boost funtion is kinda neat with distortion, adds some crazy feedback(at least with my amp), just adds clear volume on the clean.

Ive only had it for less than a week, so i wouldnt know. Looks solid, but i dont let that be an indicator until i accidently drop it or something

Same as above

Ive been playing off and on for 2 years, very intenesly for the last 6-9 months. I love metal, prog rock and blues, but classical, jazz and everything else is great. This is the first item i can check off on my dream guitar setup, and for good reason. Yes, it is one of the most expensive brand name wahs on the market, but it seems to be well worth it thus far. The range of sounds (from FAIRLY SUBTLE, and must stress the fairly cause it still is pretty wild when its in handcuffs, all the ways up to WWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!) and the quality of the electonics would be good enough to gig with or even record! I admit I bought it cause of good ol' Dimebag Darell Abbot's sick wah tone, and i am far from sorry I bought it. I only wish it was switchless, but its still easy to use. Looks like a tank too!!!! overall, this is the wah of choice for me for a llllllooooong time!

As easy as one could expect out of a wah with so many features. Easy enough for me.

Sound Quality : 10
Unlike another reviewer.... I think the clean sound is great. This wah does not color your tone nor drop in volume. Awesome with overdriven sounds great as well, obviously. I'm not really a Pantera fan but I tried every other wah in the store before deciding that this one was not only the most capable, but also the best sounding. The boost function is great for lead work. Great wah for whatever style. Buy it to do your own deal, not to sound like Dime. I play a '95 American Tele with a Duncan '59 in the neck position and a Duncan Stacked '59 in the Bridge thru an all tube Marshall JTM-600 head and 4 x 10 cab. www.mattwhatley.com

Well worth the money.

I play a songwriters rock. Does good for that as well as any other style. I've been playing for 10 years. I'd buy another one for backup, just to be safe. I really like the boost function, for wah solos. Compared it to every other wah in the store including all the other Crybaby products, Morley, Budda, Vox, Snarling Dog, etc. This one was best for me. Any new gear should help you create and add a new demesion to your playing, this pedal did just that. www.mattwhatley.com

Awesome! This wah has the best features. The boost is killer. It doesn't cut your signal like every other wah. You can set it to cut your signal if you like. The boost goes over the top if you want it to. Then there is the q parameter which is subtle but cool and the five/six resonance levels are killer. You can use it to maximize your settings for funkifying or terrifying. This is the first 10 I have ever given for any product!

The camo rules!!!

It is expensive but still cheaper than making all those mods to a crybaby yourself. Not to mention...you can't pay enough for good style!

Its very easy to use, but it takes a little getting used to because of all the types of controls it has.

Sound Quality : 10
I use a custom carvin to a boss DS-2 to Crybaby from hell to laney amp and all i can say is this wah sounds amazing. The built in gain boost makes it sound so good.Better than a clyde wah which is twice the cost.It can have any sound your looking for.SRV, Hendrix, and of course Dimebag.

Reliability : 10
You can do anything to this pedal and nothing will happen to it.It's worthy of its camo finish because its as tuff as it looks.

Had no use for them....nothing is going to happen to this pedal...

Overall Rating : 10
Its a little pricy but its worth every penny. You can get a lot of differnt wah sounds...its very reliable and it has awesome clarity...if it were stolen i would kill the person who stole it...or just buy another one...this is the wah pedal buy it you wont regret it.

This thing is obviously not as easy to use as the regular dunlop or vox wah, but c'mon, it's not that difficult to figure it out. I thought it would be much more difficult to adjust, until I played with it and saw how easy it was to find and keep a cool tone.

Sound Quality : 9
I have played a vox wah for about 10 years now. I have always wanted a dunlop just to see. I had to buy this one because the color is camo. I love camo. It is such a bonus to have such a killer sound. This thing is sweeeeeeet!

Reliability : No Opinion
I don't know. you would think that anything with this many knobs would not go too long before one of the knobs failed. I have only had it one day. I hope it is reliable. My vox never missed a beat. It looks like the day I bought it. I hope dunlop is the same.

Customer Support : No Opinion
don't know.

Overall Rating : 10
This pedal is pretty expensive considering you can buy a wah much cheaper and still have fun. I think the camo color is cool. I think the sound is, so far, cool. I think dimebag is cool. I love this pedal.By the way, I do not give 10's, but I sure had a tough time not giving this a 10. Oh what the heck, it's camoflauge. TEN!

It is fairly simple to use, but the fine tuning knobs are small, unmarked and located on the left side of the pedal. This means fine tuning while you play is a bitch
because the patch cable is covering the knobs, you can't visually tell where you are at while you kneel down and rock the pedal and try to hit a note. However, the main sweep selector knob on the right is marked and is easy to switch on the fly.

Sound Quality : 8
POSITIVE: has the traditional cry baby sound - The tone sweep is EXTREME and punches through the mix. Great with distortion.
You can get some wicked notes in the lowest settings. Nu metal sound smorgasboard. Very extreme and dangerous .
NEGATIVES: BAD CLEAN TONE, tonal adjustments are just different levels of extreme. Can turn your guitar into a comedy of sounds. Muddies lead lines with the extreme wahs. Very heavy handed even in its mildest setting.

Reliability : 10
I would depend on this pedal. The contruction appears to be very sturdy.

I play alot of funk/hip hop and I find this pedal to be fun and very expressive. In the right circumstance it can be just the right thing to take the song to a new level. It sounds like an old cry baby with a modern attitude. The wah is really intense and I'm trying to find ways of playing leads that utilize the dramatic sweep. If I am not careful I get muddled notes. However for nu metal rhythm playing this thing really kicks. You can accent chords in really demonic fashions. This is not a traditional crybaby. Whether that is good or bad remains to be seen. At its best it is refreshing step forward and at its worst it 's a cartoonish novelty item. I'm keeping my traditional cry baby and using this one in specific situations. You can't pour Tabasco over all your food all the time
unless you are Dimebag.
