Ease of Use : 10
Doesn't even have any controls. How much easier can it get?

Sound Quality : 10
It's amazing. This thing has pretty much made my noise gate useless. It creates no hum, and it eliminates all noise that normally come from the pedals, even my old Russian Small Stone, which is one of the noisiest pedals on the market.

Reliability : 10
I would bet my life on it.

Customer Support : 10
I have dealt with Dunlop before to try to get an inductor shield for my Crybaby, and they were very helpful.

Overall Rating : 10
It's a little bit pricy, but if you have the money, but it right now. I'm eventually going to have several more for my bass rig, etc.

The Unit itself couldn't be more simple very compact and built like a Brick, but external power supply seems a bit light and flimsy and is quite large making it a pain to keep within the confines of a tidy pedal board, ie you need more cables leaving your board going 2 an external multi block, also there are no cables supplied for reversed polarity effects pedals which are pretty common with other power supplys.

Sound Quality : 6
Sound quality at first seemed great with no added hum or his, that was untill i plugged in my Dimebag Distortion or mxr Stereo Chorus both of which are powered from one of the three 18v power outlets on the brick which on the manual are specifically designed to work with these pedals. As soon as i plug in the lead from an 18v outlet there is a very audible audio hum present which is not there when using the 18v power supply that comes with any of the MXR1 18v Pedals. i have exchanged the unit for a replacement twice and its still there rendering use of 18v not an option! any comments on this welcome.

Reliability : 8
unit seems excellent but external power supply is naff and a so large its a hassle to accomodate.

Customer Support : 5
Im in Northern Ireland so trying to ring america is a disaster and there are no customer support contacts outside the US. Considering these units are available all over the UK it wood be helpfull to have uk customer support.

Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use, 9 volts on the front, 18 volts on the right and adapter on the left. It comes with all the neccessary cables, just plug and go!

Sound Quality : 10
This thing is wonderful! I have a Crybaby Wah, Boss DS-2, Boss DD-3, Boss TU-2, and an Ibanez Tubescreamer. My wah eats batteries like a fat chick eats cake! I was so tired of that dying battery sound, but now everything sounds GREAT! It was like my pedals were given a second life, I was so used to the old battery sound that I had forgotten what these were supposed to sound like. They sound rejuvenated and much fuller. Especially the wah, the output is fuller and more even, rocking back and forth is much more apparent. And of course you want to know if it's noisy right? The DC brick is not any nosier than batteries! It's virtually silent. Unbelievable!

Reliability : No Opinion
Well, I've only had it for a few days but like all Dunlop products I'm sure it'll last for a long long while. I don't gig, only practice with my buddies and by my lonesome, so it'll probably last forever.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with, hope I never have to.

Overall Rating : 10
If it were stolen or lost I'd definately get a new one. There is so much to love about the DC Brick. All the cables are included, it's completely silent, it breathes life back into your pedals, and it's so darn small! In fact, it's smaller than a boss pedal. Wow. At $139 Canadian, I just don't see how a Voodoo priced at $230 Canadian can be justified. The Brick is already perfect, paying $91 for a bulkier product just doesn't make sense to me. I love my BRICK like nooooooooooooooobody!!!!! Wrong commercial? Oops I did it again. Anyway getting off topic here. In summary, BUY THE DUNLOP DC BRICK.

This is a very usefull and practical equipment. It can supply regulated DC power to 7 (9 volts) and 3 (18 volts) pedal (like the "old" Dunlop Crybaby 535Q). A must of this unit is the direct plug-in power adapter (included) which can also be plugged on 100 to 240 Volts (AC)!
All individual power connecting cables are included (another +++)!!

Sound Quality : 10
No power interruptions or oscillation. NO NOISE also is induced! Very good!

Reliability : 9
No problem yet with this unit. Seems to be very robust and small.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I play all styles of music. If it were stolen I would buy it again. A must for any pedalboard! Excellent choice!

Plug it in and plug in up to 8 effects. Qucik and simple and very user friendly. I reccommend this over the "Voodoo Labs" because it is small and compact.

Sound Quality : 9
I play an "EVH Wolfgang"(top of the line guitar) and go through 6 effects. Not noisy at all but I use a "MXR Smart Gate" (a noise gate which is also a great pedal). Once I dialed in my tone I have no complaints and according to the instructions it also protects against power surges. I play through a modified "Carvin XV100" tube amp with a "Celestion Vintage 30" speaker(60 watts). The sound is great!

Reliability : 9
Had the unit for 3 months and I am buying a backup. Very dependable so far.

Customer Support : 9
Very quick responses and courteous and helpful staff.

Overall Rating : 9
I play rock, blues rock style and have been playing for over 20 years. If it were lost or stolen I would DEFINITELY replace it. It fits on my pedalboard nicely since it is so compact!(it's a little smaller than your average stompbox).

Regulated outputs, and all the connecting cables included. Small enclosure, so it doesn't take up much room on my pedal board. Plug all your effects into this little box and your done.

Sound Quality : 10
I play a Strat or Tele through 6-7 pedals into an old Twin. I know I have too many pedals but I love them. After reading several articles about small fluctuations in power, effecting the sound of pedals, I started checking the output of my wall warts. I thought my meter might have been wrong after finding that most of my 9v supplies where putting out almost 13v. Only one was below 12v, and that was my regulated Fulltone which read 9.0v. The scary part was when I checked my 18v Danelectro supply (Bought for my Cool Cat Chorus, but I had been using it to power my Fulldrive 2). Its output was 28.2 volts, I couldn't believe it would be that far off. Once the "brick" came in I checked all the outputs on it and they where 8.9v and 18v. That's pretty darn close. Seems like my overdrive/dist effects sound a little smoother and warmer, it definitely made an improvemnt in tone that I wasn't expecting. After all, their is no instrument signal going into or out of this thing.

Reliability : No Opinion
3 months gigging, so far so good.

Customer Support : 10
Tech support even helped me with a mod on my Phase 90. Great!

Overall Rating : 10
This is a great tool for effect lovers, but almost a must for gigging guitarist that use several pedals. I highly recommend it.

plug the adaptor in the listed slot and you've got power for many types of effect pedals, it comes with a basic manual and various connectors that connect to the type of plug in ...a point style and a "coupler" style,

rating 9 for the manual is very basic, no specs persay

Sound Quality : 10
I use a multitude of effects: dunlop univibe with foot controller, Ibanez TS-9 re-issue, classic Ibanez CS-1 stereo chorus patched stereo to a Boss DD-6 stereo delay to 2 Fender Twin Reverbs, bi-amp if you will via Stereo

no notible noise or level drops or level jumps

better than batteries in my opinion , unless you believe and enjoy the "sagging" effect of when a battery begins to loose charge

Reliability : 9
I've got this active for a little while , seems rather well built, compact size , metal housing, flat backside for easy velcro attachement

Customer Support : 9
I've actually contacted Dunlop by phone and e-mail , they're were very helpful,

Overall Rating : 10
I've searched for years how do a pedal board , but more importantly how to have good powere for the effects for a pedalboard; this item is your answer! from what I learned on the web , this unit finds the correct microamp for you effects, it even handles 18volt! You can't beat it...grab it if you need a good power source for your effects

Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use, you just plug it in and you're ready to go. It comes with plenty of short cables to run to your various boxes as well as the ability to power three 18 volt pedals as well.

Sound Quality : 10
I notice no noise or tonal degradation when using this unit, I researched some different models before I bought this one and it seemed like it had the best quality for the money. I think the voodoo labs pedal power 2 is suppoed to be real nice as well but this unit is smaller, cheaper, and probably works just as well, I mean, it provides good clean power to whateer you plug it into. It does have the wall wart supply though, the voodoo labs one has a built-in supply I think, it's not a big wall wart though, really not a big deal to me.

Reliability : No Opinion
I haven't had any problems with it yet and I have used it for several months, it doesn't get hot after hours of being on and it's built solid like an MXR effects box. I haven't gigged with it yet though, I will be taking it out into the bars with in the next couple months though, I'm sure it will do fine as long as I take care not to bang it around too much.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 10
Works great, nothing I would rather have in its place, does exactly what I bought it to do.

Ease of Use : 10
really easy to use, just connect the adapters to your pedal (9volt) and just plug in into the wall. Small adapter dont have the hassle of plugging into every corner I can find and using multiple plug input surge protectors. kinda hard to arrange so your pedals are all in line and your cables from the main brick to your individual effects are straight and dont get tangled up, but thats the fun part like some other person said. Also note, it brings different cables that can adapt to either boss pedals or electro harmonix, the ends are different. 1 is open (female) and 1 is a plug (male jack type)

Sound Quality : 10
Im using it with, a Boss - super phaser ph2, super chorus 1, flanger BF-3, Electro HArmonix USA reissues - small stone, small clone, big muff, Morley distortion/wah/volume pedal, and a digitech RP-300. just note if you are going to run alot of pedals have some sort of tone booster device. your guitars signal drops and doesnt really sound too good

Reliability : 10
this thing is built tough, I mean come on its a brick. If I ran over it with my car, it wouldnt break. Now dont do this, but you get the idea, I havent had it for too long, but I know about how long effects last and this adapter looks built tough.

Customer Support : No Opinion
havent had to deal with them, this thing is great

Overall Rating : 10
get this is you are constantly wasting money on batteries, and we all know effects living off batteries lose power(soundwise) and sound weak sometimes when the battery is low. SO keep the power running through them fresh and get the best sound you can possibly get. IF it were stolen I would look for one used, Im sure it would work just the same. I love the size its small and compact Its smaller than a normal boss pedal. It definitely makes pedals sound better when the current is going into them fresh and you dont have to worry of batteries dying over night because you didnt plug out the cables running into them.

Its a power supply ! You connect one end the power cable (9v neg/9v pos/18v) the effect pedal and the other to an outlet o the DC Brick. The hardest part is arranging your pedals/cables neatly - but that's the fun part !
Comes with a walwart power supply.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
It can power up to 10 effects (7 9v/3 18v) simultaneuosly. No more batteries. More flexability arrangement wise as the daisy chain I was using w/my TU2 was somewhat limiting - not the case with the DC Brick cables...almost 2 feet in length each !
The only noticable diffence in sound occurred when I powered my Fulltone FDII w/18v - so much better (due to how FDII's run on 18v)!!!
Each power outlet is individually buffered. Good stuff.

Reliability : 10
I have used it for about 15 hours a week (5 days x 3 hours constantly ON) for 2 months. The unit keeps cool to the touch. No need for a back up.

Customer Support : 10
Prior to purchase I e-mailed Dunlop regarding number of cables that come with the unit (3 18v/7 9v neg cnt/3 9v pos cnt) and there approximate length (almost 2 feet).
Quick, professional responses.

Overall Rating : 10
I am very happy with the DC Brick.
Effortlessly powers my main pedals (TU2, FL9, FDII*, Vox wah, AD9, EH2). Don't want to go back to batteries (expensive) and cannot go back to the TU2/daisy chain (don't want my pedlas crammed together).
I think it is a better value than the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 because it 1) comes with all cables from the factory/no need to special order 18v connectors 2) Powers more pedals (10). 3)Costs a lot less than the VLPP2.
Recommended power supply.
