I can say EXCELLENT. If you can find one, take it home. First, I'm looking for a wah wah and I saw this used rack for sale in the web so I called to guy to try it. It is the one I'm looking for. I don't know anything about a wah just go and try it out. I've try a morley bradhorsie II and tremolti. Also I have
a boss aw1 which can select the brand. No one can beat this wah.

Excellent also. The foot controller works fine without the battery.

This rackmount wah is fairly easy to use...you have a two band parametric eq and three frequency center buttons to choose from. This unit is the precursor to the DCR-1SR. Slash used to use this unit in the early days of Guns n'Roses.

I play a les paul to the DCR to a boss ge7 and to a marshall silver jubilee 2555 to a marshall vintage 30's 4x12 cabinet.
The sounds from the hi and mid frequency centers are nice but the low freq is unusable for guitar unless it is modified with a certain capacitor to give it the sound of a JH-1, which dunlop did for me. The sound quality when you play clean is terrible. You hear a slight but noticible distortion...otherwise for dirty slash wah sounds it's real good.

I've only had a problem with the foot controler input jack.

They took too long to modify my unit and check it for problems.

I play GNR and rolling stones type music. Overall the unit is great and I would buy it again if it were stolen. The only real problem is that it's hard to get a decent clean sound when it is on.
