Ease of Use : 10
This wah is easy to use in that it switches on very easily compared with other wahs (you dont have to stomp it down hard) and because it doesn't have any extra fiddly buttons like some other wahs. Its a souped up straight ahead crybaby.

Sound Quality : 10
The sound quality is great. The wah sweep is deep and classic crybaby sounding, its not noisey at all and particularly I like the level balance: other wahs Ive owned often have too much of a jump in volume when switching on but this wah appears smooth.

Im using this mainly with Ibanez guitars and an Elmwood Modena90 amp.

I particularly like this wah on clean settings too - great for funk or psychedelic tunes. But it also works well with distortion where some other wahs often become weak or thin.

Ive always been a huge EVH fan but never considered his wah until I tried it.

Reliability : 9
If its anything like other dunlop wahs Ive had they sure take a beating.

Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 10
I play a range of styles and since loosing a fantastic old crybaby years ago I have been searching for a good classic wah with a deep sweep and usable in both distortion and clean settings. I bought some good wahs in the search, some from Dunlop - a keeley modded crybaby and a dimebag crybaby from hell. They are certainly good but have so many extra buttons and controls I actually find it hard to get the deep classic crybaby sound I can get with this. I also tried a slash wah and it was also impressive but again I wanted to stay clear of too many extra features and the EVH was cheaper.

Ive been playing for 20 years and have always been a big EVH fan. That said Ive never really got into Eddie's wah playing or contemporary amp sound so I never considered this wah until I actually tried it. You dont need to be an EVH fan - this wah covers a lot of ground from Hendrix to Arch Enemy. It also doesn't have a complete signature sound like the Zakk Wylde wah or Hendrix for example. It definately allows you to find your own sounds. Its basicaaly a souped up classic crybaby with bypass.

I realised I had been using wah less and less owning the previously mentioned dunlop keeley and dimebag wahs but I find myself using this wah more and more. Additionally the paint job is awesome looking with a bright blue light - but don't expect the top of the footpedal to stay yellow for long, it will soon be brown from your shoes!

very easy, the on button is so light you barely have to press it down.

Sound Quality : 10
great. wat a wah should be for rock and distortion. it cuts thru like never before and really accents which is what you want in rock and improvising. I use it on spirit of the radio by rush solo and it works great , especially with tube amps

How easy is it to get a good sound out of it? Well you plug it in you stomp on it, two blue LED lights come on and just like any wah you rock your foot back and forth. About as easy as it gets!!! :)

Sound Quality : 9
Nothing in my eyes is a perfect "10" when it comes to gear but this comes damm close in the wah category. I compared this to my other wah pedals I own including a Dunlop Zakk Wylde Wah, Fulltone Clyde Deluxe and a Morley Bad Horsie. Whereas the Clyde Deluxe gets 3 settings and sounds great and the Bad Horsie sounds great as well I always liked the Wylde Wah for its huge sweep and its ability to always cut through the live mix. I just always thought the vocal pronunciation of the wah could have been accentuated a lot better on that pedal and this is where the EVH is a total winner! Not only is it more vocal like in the midrange where you want it to have the most "speakability", this puppy can growl better than any wah out there! I don't know what else to say but what an incredible job to Eddie and everybody at Dunlop!

Reliability : 9
Other than my delay, my entire pedalboard is Dunlop/MXR! Built like a brick ****house, you can't kill these pedals.

Whenever I have a question the company has knowledgeable and friendly live supportm

Overall Rating : 10
It's hard not to rate this pedal an overall perfect "10" because it sounds better than any wah out there in my honest opinion. The best thing I can say is just go play through one yourself and you'll see what I mean.

I won this pedal at a guitar competition on the 28th of June, 2008, so i am writing this review before the pedal itself is actually released. Having very little experience with wah pedals (don't really need them in all honesty), I can say that the easy of use of this pedal is very similar to most other wahs - pretty simple. I mean you press down to turn on/off (nothing new there), but I just never got the foot motions down. My pedal is probably the only other one being used other than Mr. EVH's himself, and no manual came with it (it was hand-wired and then put in a brown, unpainted Jim Dunlop box)

Sound Quality : 10
I use a Floyd Rose Discovery series guitar, with Seymour Duncan JB pickups. I also play through a 15/30/100W Vox Valvetronix. I must say, I really LOVE the sound I can get with this wah pedal. It gives you warm lower ends (with a great muffled sound), and amazing, face-melting high ends! Sometimes, when playing a solo or something, I just turn it on and keep it on the high end, and it gives it a certain crunch, and biting sound - I love it! It sounds just like EVH live solos, and you can easily nail his solo from "Top of the World." The nice thing about this pedal though, is that it doesn't take away from the sound (loudness), and doesn't make it more gainy, like some pedals.

Reliability : No Opinion
Can't say much about reliability now, but the thing is rock solid, and I'm sure that it will spend many years with me before I have to even start thinking about getting another.

I won this at a guitar competition, so I didn't deal with the company at all.

Overall Rating : 10
Overall, i couldn't be happier with this pedal - it is easy to use, and has a kick a$$ sound/tone/quality. I play anything from Van Halen, to Led Zeppelin, and even delta blues, and I think that this pedal, even if only turned on, and not wah'd so to speak, can help give any artist a great sound. After playing for 5 years, I have not found anything quite this good as far as pedals go, so thank you Dunlop! I would definitely buy another if anything happened to this one, of course, it doesn't come out until mid-July, so I would have to wait ;)
Overall, a worth-while purchase that won't displease you!
