It's real easy man. But one problem. The switch for the octave fuzz sound is on the side of the pedal brother, and either you have to use your hand or get a real good skill side tap wit your foot man.

OOOOOHHHH YEAH!!!!! Fabulous! It's an octavia and a wah in one! WOOHOOOOO!!! Very nasty fuzz man! Sick, fat, thick, sizzling fuzz big boy! Try it with a distortion in combo man. It is so dirty it made me sick. I blew out my eardrum man, it hurt! YEAH!!!

It is tricky to turn on and off the octave/fuzz part of the wah which is way cooler than the wah.

Sound Quality : 10
the wah sounds o.k. like your average crybaby wah but the octave sounds great! a really super thick distortion that tracks really really fast and good. It can also be used just to add an octave which sounds great too. Very Very thick fuzz.

the fuzz sounds great and I have owned a bunch of fuzz octave pedals and this is a good one. Much better sounding than the other fuzz octave pedal or jimi hendrix series pedals.

The knobs aren't labeled and I always forget which does what. The top one rolls off volume so you keep it up all the way. the other knob affects the octave tone but it doesn't do anything unless you get up
to 9 or 10, at which point output is quadrupled and your eardrums implode. I keep this knob on zero.
The octave is switched on by a tiny pain in the butt of a little
button that sticks out the side of the base. This can be a slight problem on stage...when you need to get back to a civil, un-ring-modulesque type tone and you don't kick it just right it stays on and you end up looking and sounding somewhat stupid.

Sound Quality : 9
The wah sounds sweet, better than my old Dunlop wah did. Not the best but considering it has a built in octave it's pretty cool. The octave is a NICE bonus. It's put my Proctavia into semi-retirement. I could never justify hooking it up much on gigs anyway, being that it seldom got used. (A little goes a long way,eh?) With this pedal you get a good wah plus a little of the old octavia madness when you're feelin' randy. And that's one less pedal and patchcord, which I like, indeed.

Reliability : 10
Solid and dependable.

These seem to be a bit rare, but if you can find one, try it. I think unless you have Eric Johnson ears it will be good enough for you and will free up some room on your pedalboard, too.
