Ease of Use : 8
Fairly simple to use...just set the various controls to your liking and that's it...changing from Volume mode to Wah mode has to be done by hand though which is a bit of a drag...other than that all ok.

Sound Quality : 10
Sound quality is very god...I use it with guitar and bass....G&L Legacy and MM Stingray 5....very good wide range of wah sounds for both instruments....just about everything needed. Ok for volume swells as well...pedal travel isn't too long or short for me...just about right and comfortable.

Reliability : 10
Expect it to be ok....cast case seems to be the same as the Carl Martin 2wah...probably made in the same factory....quality construction and assembly, I don't expect trouble.

Customer Support : 10
Very good!....same day reply to emails in English...

Overall Rating : 10
Not too many pedals out there that do vol/wah and active/passive and guitar/bass...probably the best of the bunch and much better than Morley which I prefered in the 70's when they were big and chrome....good product, well made, reliable and does the job but not the cheapest....worth the extra dosh though.

Simple to use - plug and play. You can get good sounds out of it straight away.
Like the chap below says, the manual does not explain clearly, in laymen terms, what each button does.
What do the Low Pass and Hi-Q buttons really do? How do you make the envelope filter work?
I know, it doesn't really matter what they're called or what they do, it's how they sound. Although, it would be useful to know while learning to drive this thing.
To change the sound then is really easy - just press a button.

Sound Quality : 9
My setup is a custom bass through the WahOne into a Fender 400 Pro Combo and 15" custom box.
The sweep (i.e. range) of wah is excellent.
The 'tubeism' button sounds fairly close to a tube sound.
Most importantly for bass guitarists, this pedal retains the bottom end. It still sounds like a bass should sound.
By pressing all the buttons in different configurations, you can get a variety of sounds that will keep you busy for a long time.

Reliability : 9
This thing chews through the batteries.
It is a very sturdy and compact unit. At this price, this thing should last a lifetime.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I hope never to use this service.

Previous to the WahOne, I have used the Jim Dunlop Bass Wah. The WahOne ***** all over the JD in terms of sound, quality and options.
I would definitely replace it, if lost or stolen.
If you're thinking of buying a bass wah pedal - this is the one for you.

Very easy to use, man there are just four controls on it, its musical not technical

got some good sweeps out of it ....

Sound Quality : 8
i rate it 8 as i was always a little confused when listening on my monitors in studio seemed to overload in some of the lower bass frequencies, probably sounds dope thru a bass amp but was unsure if something was right or not in critical listenin

still was musical sounding, big bottom, pretty fat sweep, perhaps not raging enough for noisier music, it did not scream like other wahs do in the upper mids, its got a good sound but I think funk players will love it, the volume pedal was a nice addition too

Reliability : 8
well the construction is ridiculaously tank like, and the thing weighs a ton, I mean it added so much weight to my back pack that its role became a question of is it doing enough for me to warrant the weight.

I dont think it will break though, ooops plastic cover on the bayttery comartment looks like it will end up being gaffa taped one day

Customer Support : 9
yeah I once had to get in touch with them about a defunkt switch on another of their pedals, fast response replacement switch sent out immediately, so not bad really

Overall Rating : 7
play noise rock, this was not the ideal wah for that style of music. it did some nice things on a couple of tracks though.

been playin since 13, now 30, how many nears oh yeah 17, own ebs Multi comp, octa b, valve d, sans amp pbddi, xxl, line 6 delay.

would not replace this big sucker, will try a morely power wah like cliff burton had next

I liked its big sound, hated its weight and lack of scream, volume switch was dope, also tube circuit, and reverse switch, intelligent design. Bit too clean sounding though,

no direct comparissons made with other wah today, I used to use a standard jim dunlop and rat on my bass as a teenager and had way more noise action. think this was what I was trying for but did not reach .... addmitedely a very subjective aim.

wish it was less heavy, less Goth Trucker design aesthetics, and more overdrive in the sweep.

it was musical however !!! it did help make music, although groovier stuff, very good for that type of music funky stuff.

Its weight is really an issue though for me and my bag full of pedals so I selling it whilst its still new and shiny

It's as easy to dial in a great sound as with any other EBS unit. The features are as follows:
Mode (volume/wah)
Settings (tubesim and reverse)
Wah controls (range, low pass and hi-q

The manual is very basic and perhaps lack some further explanations regarding the low pass vs hi-q.

Sound Quality : 10
Now this is the way bass wah should sound like. I've never really cared that much for wah's until I tried this one. No added noise with any of the settings and the low end is never compromised. I really enjoy the versatility of the pedal. Using the different wah settings for low pass and hi-q allows for some significant variations.
Another great thing is that they have included the tubesim circuit. It certainly adds harmonies to your tone and brings out the right mids. I really don't know why there's a switch for it since I can't imagine why anyone would ever want to be without it?!?

Reliability : No Opinion
Most EBS products are extremely reliable. The only weak spart and the first thing to go regarding the pedals is usually the footswitch. I haven't been using this for very long and never gigged with it so I'll not rate this category as of now.

Customer Support : 7
EBS are usually very helpful and normally reply within a couple of days. I only wish they'd replace a worn out footswitch for free since it doesn't take a lot of use to break one.

Overall Rating : 10
I play mostly anything ranging from pop and reggae to rock and metal using fingers aswell as a pick. This definitely does the job for every style.

I've been playing for about 20 years and have gone through a range of pedals. I've found that for sound and usability, nothing compares to the EBS. The WahOne is probably the most entertaining and expressional pedal I've ever come across. I'd say that bass wah have not been existing up until now.

The looks of it don't hurt either...it's friggin gorgeous!!

In conclusion: Go get (wah)one!!
