The Nashville is a straight-forward colored boost/overdrive pedal, ostensibly voiced for country playing -- meaning it has a snappy top end and a crisp overdrive tone.
The Nashville came with a mini manual, but it isn't needed. The controls are: Level, Gain, and Tone, so it takes no time to figure out.

I'm using the Nashville pedal with various guitars, including a PRS Custom SE played through an Ampeg J-20 Jet tube amp.
The effect is very noticable.
--Used as a boost at high volumes, with the Drive rolled back and the Level up, it drives the amp into its own overdrive very nicely, while thickening the tone beautifully.
--At high volumes and with the pedal gain fairly high, it does not really play well with the amp. The pedal distortion ends up interfering with the amp's overdriven tone. I won't use the pedal with a high gain setting for high volume play, as the crisp country distortion doesn't mix well with the amp's cruch tone. (which is great. Get an Ampeg J-20 Jet!)
--On a cleaner amp, a high Drive setting this pedal would probably sound great at high volumes.
The tone shaping is beautiful. The pedal adds girth and warmth and a nice, very adjustable degree of overdrive, accentuating trebly harmonics over bass crunch.
As I run up the overall volume, I roll back the pedal's Gain knob and push up the Level, moving from pedal overdrive to a boost that overdrives the amp. Very nice, once I figured this out.

I haven't had it long enough to judge. It looks well-built, though.
The only issue I had with it, coming out of the box, was two tiny chips in the yellow lacquer finish. I don't know whether they missed this (sortas hard to, though), or whether they decided to ship anyway, assuming (rightly, in my case) that no one would return it over such a small issue.

I play blues and rock. I have been playing for two years. I looked for quite a while to find the right mix of colored boost and overdrive in a pedal.
Although I play blues, I had a lot of trouble finding the right overdrive pedal. I am not a tube screamer fan and most blues overdrives seem to be based on that. The Eden Analog 'Austin,' which is their blues overdrive, was not for me. Too heavy. It reminded me much more of '70s blues rock tones than the Texas Blues sound the name suggests (or that I hear every weekend, as I live in Houston). The Nashville is different enough from blues cliche tones that I can develop my own sound.
As an aside, I saw a lot of variation in the price among online vendors -- running from $148 to $180. Shop around.

Very easy to use. This pedal is almost impossible to get a bad sound out of. Crank it, or leave it low. Three controls, Level, Gain, and Tone. Easy. The only quirk is that you have to use a screwdriver to get into the back panel and swap batteries, but if you use the AC then thats not a problem.

I play through this with a fat strat style guitar through a modified crate v-18 tube amp. I got the pedal to add that blues driver type of sound to my single coils. It works incredibly. Tone Tone Tone. Bottom line, since it's true bypass you don't lose the tone when you switch the effect off.(If you ever switch it off) Great for boosting cleans, or getting some crunchyness in your sound. Another thing is the entire range of the pots can be taken advantage of. You wont get half way up on the level pot and decide that you would never go any higher.

This pedal, from the second you turn it on produces nothing but good clean, country voiced tones. No manual came with it, but it was pretty standard, 3 knobs, like a Boss OD, Drive, Level and a smaller tone knob. 3PDt true bypass. The pots are great, i didn't look inside pedal, was too busy enjoying it. Aluminum enclosure with a neat yellow Decal.

I'm using this pedal with an Alvarez Dread that has a Fishman NeoD single coil pickup thru a Kustom KGA10FX with a small amount of reverb. The pedal is very quiet, it warms up the amp and gives you the tone you want. I could replace this for my compressor to do some great chicken pickin'. This is a hot pedal, I turned it up pretty high and could not get any distortion, now I did not have much amp volume as I live in an apartment, the thing is , for practice, I got the tones I wanted. the knobs work very easily with each other. Looking forward to playing this with one of my compressors.

Heavy, solid box. I wouldn't use a backup, would bring an xta battery though.

I play country music. This pedal has impressed me the most for a boost or overdrive to voice country music. I have been playing music for about 30 years. Right now, I play in a Worship team at Church. If it were stolen, I would get another one, a very unique product. It really helps me play country music better, don't know how they did it, but it's like an analog country modded pedal. I love it. By the way, I am a music journalist and am not one for passing out compliments at will.
