Ease of Use : 9
All the sounds from this box go from good to great. It's got rate and depth knobs like most chorus pedals and an added 'color' knob to vary the textures. Very easy to dial in quickly. Organic, warm, subtle. Bought used and did not receive a manual. It's a tad on the ugly side -- an alarming green with silly retro 70's-ish graphics. Think Rollerball. Give it a 9 because nothing is perfect.

Sound Quality : 10
I play Telecasters mainly, sometimes a Strat, through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I use the Sync 3 with a few other pedals: a Fulltone OCD, MXR Carbon Copy, sometimes a Lovepedal 200 lbs., and an older Maxon compressor (not in that order). I tend to combine the pedals by using them at low levels to get the sound I want and then I leave them alone. True bypass so no noise at all -- big plus there. I am not trying to sound like anyone in particular, just like to use a little bit of each of the effects in the chain to create a tone that fits whatever I happen to be playing. The Sync 3 works well with my set up. I chose each of my effects because they sound good together and none of them overpower each other. 10 in this category for doing exactly what I want.

Reliability : No Opinion
Seems pretty sturdy. I don't have backups for any of my pedals.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No experience with the company; bought it used on eBay. Their website seems pleasant enough although not especially informative.

Overall Rating : 9
i play rock of all sorts and some blues. I started out playing bass over 25 years ago and switched to guitar a bit after that. I've got the above listed pedals and a number of Telecasters, American, Mexican and custom-built, and a 1980's Strat. In addition to the Hot Rod I've got a Blues Deluxe and a 1980's Roland JC-50. I don't know if I'd ever pay over $200 for any pedal, but I would try to find another of these Eden jobs if I were to lose the one I found. I can't imagine why the guy I bought this from sold it.

I tend to like analog effects much more than digital ones. To my ear the Sync 3 easily surpassed all the big name brands (Boss, DOD, Electro Harmonix, MXR, etc.) as well as some higher end units (TC Electronic, Fulltone). My one and only criticism of this pedal is that it's very big -- comparable in size to, say, an EHX Clone Theory. But for the fact that it takes up more pedalboard real estate than I'd like (and is ugly), I have only positive things to say about this great sounding pedal. Not gimmicky, not dramatic, but effective, sweet-sounding and easy to work with. Also easy to combine with other effects, which you can't say for a lot of popular pedals. If you can find one of these it's worth a listen. I don't know if any pedal is worth upwards of 2 bills but I haven't found a chorus pedal that's better than this one.
