Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use. plug it guitar to pedal and pedal to the amp. Works like all other volume pedals except mine has a tone control.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using it in line with a Martin red repeat delay and,a voodoo labs sparkle drive. I would subjest that you plug your guitar into it first then the other pedals back to the amp. Mine takes the top end out a bit but, the red repeat gives it right back. Its very smooth and lends something to the tone that I can't explain(hehe). The top of the pedal controls the tone when moved side to side, it creates a awesome fuzz to O/D sounds when I have my Sparkle drive on or when using my amps drive channel(Crate V3112 combo)

Reliability : 10
Built to last! Don Edwards put together an awesome pedal. The bulbs (no.57's) are easy to find at any auto parts store.
Yeah, I would gig with it.

Company doesn't exist anymore. A shame

Overall Rating : 8
Get one, See if you like it. I love Pete Townsend's sound so that's why I got one.
I got to say I read these other reviews and the who site about this pedal but, I didn't hear feedback or any sustain. Could be my pedal so, I'm going to try and snatch another one up.

Plug it into an ac outlet, input your guitar, out to your amp...Thats it!

Sound Quality : 10
Awesome volume pedal!! I use a Gretsch 6120, into the Edwards then into a Bedrock Lead 50 or Allen Accomplice. This volume pedal seems to allow a very controlled feedback into the mix as the notes die out...great expression...great pedal! Listen to Who's Next or Quadrophenia to hear what I'm talking about.

Reliability : 8
So far so good...not sure about the company very hard to come by? There is no volume pot it uses a light bulb to control the volume. If it burns out go to the gas station and get a new bulb, that simple.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have no idea when these were made (pre 1971) or where the company is today but I hope I don't lose this baby!

Overall Rating : 10
I have a thing for Pete Townshends guitar sound on post Tommy Who albums and after reading several interviews I learned of his recording combination (which I now use, aside of the '59 Bandmaster...soon!) This pedal is an integral part of his sound. Its hard to explain but other volume pedals I've used seemed kind of "take em or leave 'em" and would frequently end up using no volume pedal. But this thing is extremely smooth and does add an unexplainable headroom/sustain/feedback thing when fully open. If you find one buy it!

If anyone has any info on this pedal email me!
